"I don't have an easy way of saying this, but i am compelled, by the mechanics of the game, to form a ghetto." - It's for those kinda lines i absolutely adore Sseth's scripts.
It's realistic though... you need poor people if you want to have a pool of workers for your Egyptian sweat shops, and poor people don't live in wealthy nice neighborhoods.
Indeed. It's also invigorating to see, after the absolute bewilderment passes, there's the thirst for more. Reminds me of when I first started watching. Good times.
That muscly guy you regularly see in this video is Billy Herrington, aka Aniki. He's part of this gay wrestling video series that picked up quite a lot of notoriety in niconico, which is basically japanese paid youtube. Rest in peace, aniki. Ass we can
Oh my god, thanks for the info. That thing made me laugh uncontrollably when I first saw it, and this being the first Sseth video I came across didn't help either.
If I can offer an advice for parents around the world, do not buy a book about Egypt mythology until your child is over 16 years old lol. You're gonna give them PTSD. The Egyptian pantheon is one of, if not the wildest one.
It's honestly painful how inattentive folks on this channel are (not only in the case of this video or Sseth content, just in general) "when was this game made?" **Which was mentioned legitimately a few seconds prior*. *Sseth explaining an ancient Egyptian religious story after making a comment about the ancient Egyptian religion being colorful** "What's going on? This is the story of the game? I'm so confused how we got here from a video about a city building game". Like, granted this is an average Sseth vid with fast audio and visual transitions but it shouldn't be this difficult to follow what's going on, lol.
the game: "The Caesar is coming to get you!" me: _deploys fully equipped legions I built from saving tax money I didn't pay, and weapons deals I didn't declare_ the game: "Yeah.... uhhmmmm... on second thought, you can keep the province, I got better things to worry about."
Kinda sums up all my experiences with city builders when I was a kid too lol; but damnit if they weren't entertaining anyway. I had a lot more patience back then, somehow.
16:40 What shatters your suspension of disbelief in this ancient Egypt city builder are not the literal gods and their powers wrecking shit but oversized scorpions?! :)
> You pay yourself a pharao's salary > The real Pharao hears about this and gets mad > Sends the problemshooting and problemspearing teams. > Don't worry, you will be speared.
I played this game as a kid, did some of the first tutorial missions of the campaign, then picked a custom map with lots of resources and no combat and just tried to build a city with something cool in it, never succeeded though. Nowadays I just listen to the game's soundtrack on shuffle and do not try to play it again.
11:44 Was that a fucking Hercules - The Legendary Journeys reference?! Edit: You guys should watch Sseth's Arcanum video. If you ever want to play it, I highly recommend it. The game is fantastic.
This game reminds me a bit of the Zeus and Poseidon game, that was pretty fun game for me. You could pick which gods you want for your city and get heroes to send on missions and go to war with other nations in Greece.
You can be uncultured and you can be this woman who even manages to make a new word for something that is below that. She can't even tell what is the game and what is history
The best part of this review is that it has actual Egyptian mythology, paraphrased of course. Almost nobody is familiar with the Horus myth, so naturally it all sounds like bullshit.
Okay, not a video recommendation. But here's a game I think you would like, Kit. There's a game series called "Tropico". I would recommend getting "Tropico 3" or "Tropico 4" and try it out. The game basically puts you in the shoes of a "presidante" of a Caribbean country - "Tropico". And you're allowed to rule the country anyway you like. It's a mix of city builder + country simulator + corrupt politician simulator. Your goal isn't just to rule the country but also secure enough funds in your Swiss Account so your character can retire comfortably when his term is over. Of course, you could manipulate the country's domestic and foreign policies, rigging the country's election system to prolong your reign. If you wanna play a game that allows you to be an evil dictator / corrupt leader of a nation, the Tropico series is your game.
In my opinion those two guys are the best on here the they talk and joke with each other and arent scared to pause video when needed to talk some more. sub
you can only be slightly corrupt, too much corruption will be punished. if you dont want a slum in your city you can hide a single house plot in range and that gives places access to the entire population. archers are total trash but easy to mass produce. so, the story of that myth was one of the tamer version. ancients got wild and no one tried to stop them because it was one wild ride no one knew how to get off.
I never checked any tips for ceasar 3 and it look legit more than 10 years for me to finish 3rd episode of the campaign somehow everytime i tried i end up going bankrupt.
Love Kira and Kit for Sseth, they really engage with the shenanigans! For future Sseth reviews, consider: - Kenshi: short video, alien game, lots of content to react to, easily explained game mechanics. also everyone wants it - Crusader Kings 2: medium length video, a lot more content for the history-lover Kit to comment on. no technical dive into game mechanics, so that's a plus for general commentary. - Endless Space 2: a bit lengthy, but a lot of colorful factions, and very heavy explanation of the mechanics. pretty good as a technical review. - Morrowind: D E E P E S T L O R E
Ahh yes Pharoh, I wanted to punch my middle school classroom computers screen when I had a fully functional city go up in flames because of the gods. And yes the Ghetto's is important, the higher class of citizens won't work in the industrial area.
"I don't have an easy way of saying this, but i am compelled, by the mechanics of the game, to form a ghetto." - It's for those kinda lines i absolutely adore Sseth's scripts.
KKKKKKKKKKKKK i used to do that all the time, good thing zeus fixed this maechanic KKKKKKKKKKK
It's realistic though... you need poor people if you want to have a pool of workers for your Egyptian sweat shops, and poor people don't live in wealthy nice neighborhoods.
Showing Sseth to normies is like showing human technology to ants
Entertaining regardless tbh
Indeed. It's also invigorating to see, after the absolute bewilderment passes, there's the thirst for more. Reminds me of when I first started watching. Good times.
@@randomcenturion7264 the girl on the left seems to be perpetually bewilderment no matter what they show to her xD
I love it
this is the closest thing i can get to simulate showing videos i watch to my uncles/aunts
Dark Souls: We're the most difficult and unforgiving game ever.
Pharaoh: Hold my wine.
Hold my ghetto*
Beer*
I recommend his Kenshi review next
11:41 not even the game, that is ACTUAL ancient Egyptian myth he is retelling.
Rest in power, aniki
Yes that lore was actual real life Egyptian mythos. Not just ingame lore made up, Egypt got that weird stories.
If I can offer an advice for parents around the world, do not buy a book about Egypt mythology until your child is over 16 years old lol. You're gonna give them PTSD. The Egyptian pantheon is one of, if not the wildest one.
Endless Space 2 Review is probably his best! Check it out :D
From Sseth videos i recommend Endless Space 2.
"Rename your music folder" "This is already too complicated for me"
Some people are used to different content dude
This guy has to play Tropico. Maximum Corruption is one of the game-win states.
the game: "The Caesar is coming to get you!"
me: _deploys fully equipped legions I built from saving tax money I didn't pay, and weapons deals I didn't declare_
the game: "Yeah.... uhhmmmm... on second thought, you can keep the province, I got better things to worry about."
The best strategy game of my childhood. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but the buildings were pretty

Someone need to introduce the gachi culture to her.
Please do his Endless Space 2 review next.
CHICAGO REACTS
PLEASE ADD A SSETH TZEENTACH TO THE TITLE OF THE VIDEO, PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT VIDEO ABOUT
I can recommend «An Incorrect Summary of Ace Combat» from the channel «Max0r». And the channel itself as a whole I recommend for reviews)

You 2 make a great duo
I recommend his God Hand Review, It's one of my favourites of his.
Please react to "How Medieval Kings Would See Today" by Fire of Learning.
Seconded!
This is one of my favorite games I played a bunch
11:44 Was that a fucking Hercules - The Legendary Journeys reference?!
Edit: You guys should watch Sseth's Arcanum video. If you ever want to play it, I highly recommend it. The game is fantastic.
That mtyh lesson took me by surprise. Good stuff.
I'll never forget the first time I introduced some of my friends to a Sseth, this video reminded me of that.
Do more of Sseth
This game reminds me a bit of the Zeus and Poseidon game, that was pretty fun game for me. You could pick which gods you want for your city and get heroes to send on missions and go to war with other nations in Greece.
Same developer. They made a few city builder games.
Lol i read that story about Horus and Seth fight in a thick Mythology book, a lot of sex, animal transformation, spears and WEIRD things
btw all the Sseth story is 100% completely true, history say that hahaha
Smooooth brains
My favorite duo again?
Say no more~~~
hey i know you guys have been getting into warhammer 40k, you should take a look at 'Emperor TTS' by Bruva Alfabusa
You can be uncultured and you can be this woman who even manages to make a new word for something that is below that. She can't even tell what is the game and what is history
nice
keep the sseth videos coming
The best part of this review is that it has actual Egyptian mythology, paraphrased of course. Almost nobody is familiar with the Horus myth, so naturally it all sounds like bullshit.
Synthetik or endless space should be the next one
6:38 a person from the center of a city talking about the outskirts
absolutely BASED that he said “senate and people of rome”
Okay, not a video recommendation. But here's a game I think you would like, Kit.

Sseths Crusader kings review would be nice for the next reaction
I recommend Sseth's Caves of Qud video!
You guys are so quirky! LMAO :^)
In my opinion those two guys are the best on here the they talk and joke with each other and arent scared to pause video when needed to talk some more. sub
Kenshi or his Star Sector review next
this woman is easily lost. Probably best to let somebody else react to sseth videos.
I would love to see these two react to Jelle's Marble Runs! 😁
You should look for the Pompeii graffiti. They're amazing.
you can only be slightly corrupt, too much corruption will be punished.
if you dont want a slum in your city you can hide a single house plot in range and that gives places access to the entire population.
archers are total trash but easy to mass produce.
so, the story of that myth was one of the tamer version. ancients got wild and no one tried to stop them because it was one wild ride no one knew how to get off.
I love how confused you two are with these reviews XD
one of the first guys you kept getting confused about is called Billy Herrington and he's very...interesting.
That is actually a pretty accurate telling of the Osiris myth.
Please react to Lord Bung's Confinement series
Kit's spiteful god voice is proof he needs to do a collab with Sseth at some point.
A Sseth video that you two havent watched yet?? I reccomend Synthetik, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and Caves of Qud
I still love playing this game
I never checked any tips for ceasar 3 and it look legit more than 10 years for me to finish 3rd episode of the campaign somehow everytime i tried i end up going bankrupt.
This game is on steam and it works fine, the music plays without issue.
And the Pharo coming to mess you up is not a glitch, you play as basically a mayor.
It would be amazing to see any of Max0r's reviews ir summaries, the Doom one is great
Crusader Kings 2 review, or I will riot.
Kira has a nice hair. Rly like it. Also Ssethtzeentach has the best reviews.
Might want to move the mics a little further away, gets really loud.
Sseth really has a penchant for obscure, stupidly hard games. :D
That’s actually Egyptian lore
Love Kira and Kit for Sseth, they really engage with the shenanigans! For future Sseth reviews, consider:

- Endless Space 2: a bit lengthy, but a lot of colorful factions, and very heavy explanation of the mechanics. pretty good as a technical review.
- Morrowind: D E E P E S T L O R E
I'd like to add one more onto the list, John.
Sseth's video on Mount and Blade: Warband.
video: this game was made 20 years ago...
5 secs later: WhEn ThIs GaMe WaS mAdE? pLs LeT uS kNoW...
Ahh yes Pharoh, I wanted to punch my middle school classroom computers screen when I had a fully functional city go up in flames because of the gods. And yes the Ghetto's is important, the higher class of citizens won't work in the industrial area.
The reactions of these two literally are amazing. Best duo after all!
Is she high? Like what xD
one video from Sseth Tzeentach you could react to is this Crusader Kings: 2.0 Review | You can (Not) Afford | Family Edition™
Recomend his outward
React to caves of qud reaction next
Actually, the Egyptian gods were generally good and noble, at least compared to Greek or Mesopotamian gods.
"No one cares, get a job." - Plutarch
I recommend to watch the elder scrolls 3 morrowind by ssethtzeentach (obviously ;) )
*guy gets hit by car*
*e v i l l a u g h t e r*
I do not understand how she's ALWAYS so confused in every video.
Watch the kenshi review and then play the game
Always had to have ghettos next to industry.
i don't like those two they keep stoping the video to do bits and not actually reiveiw it.
This was painful to watch
