@@ghstyt.728 its just waves man. When I'm out and about (gym, hanging out with friends, work, doing things), I feel real good and kinda forget about the whole breakup thing. On my downtime, that's when I start to think about her again. It was noticeably worse earlier in the breakup, but as time goes by, it's been getting better for me.

BEST content on the internet! We have to DETACH By going no-contact. It creates emotional disconnect and helps you to see “the ex” clearly, instead of through rose colored glasses. If they discarded you, THAT IS how you are to remember them…as someone who was cruel and threw you away. It requires rewiring the brain though. The brain wants to fix a problem. So it keeps you strategizing “the how” to fix it but THE ONLY way to truly disconnect and detach is by going no contact.

Hey coach! I’m also in H-Town. I wonder how much of the no contact teaching really applies after a 2nd or 3rd breakup when you took them back too easily with too little resistance and didn’t ask the hard questions or really get them to face their issues and traumas. It seems the taking back easily just lowers your value in their eyes to a place where no contact is ineffective…even if the growth and change actually occur on their part.

He tested me initially by trying to trigger me then by liking my posts. I was indifferent so he reached out “checking on me”. Said he considers me a friend because he trusts me. @cjt6472 Of course there is a lot to the story. I'm a good dude. There was nothing major. Was it perfect? No. No relationship is. We were together 8 months. So yea its not like a 10 year relationship where it takes a year or two for her to leave. It was little things in a short amount of time. The self awareness was there during, but afterwards it's the pain and distance that magnifies and creates change.

Each time you break no contact, you have to start over again. I feel you, I did the same because I worried about her However, I started again and a week later she reached out asking the question she already knew and did not try to continue the convo. You gotta answer as brief as possible. Yet I got a chance so I told her that if she isn’t giving US a chance, I wont stay in her life, so I removed her from most of my social media platforms. BEST content on the internet! We have to DETACH By going no-contact. It creates emotional disconnect and helps you to see “the ex” clearly, instead of through rose colored glasses. If they discarded you, THAT IS how you are to remember them…as someone who was cruel and threw you away. It requires rewiring the brain though. The brain wants to fix a problem. So it keeps you strategizing “the how” to fix it but THE ONLY way to truly disconnect and detach is by going no contact.

Hey coach! I’m also in H-Town. I wonder how much of the no contact teaching really applies after a 2nd or 3rd breakup when you took them back too easily with too little resistance and didn’t ask the hard questions or really get them to face their issues and traumas. It seems the taking back easily just lowers your value in their eyes to a place where no contact is ineffective…even if the growth and change actually occur on their part.

We dated for a few months (amazing relationship) he broke it off as he is nervous of getting hurt & having to commit.
I did no contact, he reached out, wanted to see me… and now it’s getting to the stage of commitment topic again… and he’s gone cold & can’t give me what I want.

So, now this lasy Friday I went out for dinner with my ex, he told me he found out in the last somewhat weeks that he missed me more than he thought he would. And that he wants to see where things go again. But still want to take it slow and don't put a label on it. Yet still wants to share the bed with me, and buying me pretty expensive christmas gift this year.. yet he also tells me that he don't know where things will go between us.. I'm just so confused!!

4 months NC right away, didn't beg. She couldn't care less. Women can lose attraction so fast if you make little mistakes and their respect for you goes out the window.
Not all women, gotta be more to the story then that. Sometimes self awareness can be extremely healing.
@cjt6472 Of course there is a lot to the story. I'm a good dude. There was nothing major. Was it perfect? No. No relationship is. We were together 8 months. So yea its not like a 10 year relationship where it takes a year or two for her to leave. It was little things in a short amount of time. The self awareness was there during, but afterwards it's the pain and distance that magnifies and creates change.

@topg7778 early on no once we started saying I love you after 6 months. She started to "test" at higher levels i hadnt experienced before. There were maybe a couple moments where she perceived it that way yes.

Coach i know where your coming from but by going NC Wont that just confirm there abandonment fears and even discarding us in a dreadful way it confirms to them we have abandoned them just like they expect from everyone just trying to understand there thought pattern

I was in relationship with my girl for more than 8 months. Meanwhile at first we had a fight since i was socialising and speaking with other girls and not prioritizing her which in her point of view i did gave my priority to her ,but then i asked to break up but she refused and cried , on that i accepted her. But after that i took her granted and disrespectful comments comparing her with my previous one side love i had and said i will leave after one and half year and all but i didnt mean things from heart. Meanwhile other person was texting her and they went out one day and i allowed it and after that i got so jealous and aksed not to go again since she was saying he is caling again but then i confessed to him about our relationship and then she got triggered saying you dont respect me and broke up. I begged for love she said i dont have feelings for me and saying we can br friends i wont be ghosting you all of sudden. But i say i would wait for you even whole one and half year to get you, she will say i dont know after that too i will accept or not. I feel confused and insecure since she is going out with him straight two days. This is the situation please guide how to get my ex back

it’s been 15 days since the break up. I broke nc on day 12 because my anxiety got the best of me and he says he wasn’t ready to talk. Do you think i still have a chance and that he would try to reach out? I started nc again after i broke it. I’ve been struggling :(
You can do it. You deserve the break just as much as they do. Put yourself first.
Each time you break no contact, you have to start over again. I feel you, I did the same because I worried about her However, I started again and a week later she reached out asking the question she already knew and did not try to continue the convo. You gotta answer as brief as possible.
Yet I got a chance so I told her that if she isn’t giving US a chance, I wont stay in her life, so I removed her from most of my social media platforms. But told her to find the way to reach out if she changes her mind and hope it’s not too late. She reacted with a crying emoji, i assume she’s enjoying the stage as she has avoidance attachment style.
Ps. She broke up with me saying she wanna work on herself and career (a day before we has some conflicts, it was my fault who asked with interest about her beliefs, she didn’t understand my intentions that I found it interesting ), I asked if she’s sure. Turned out she wasn’t, she wanna distant for 30 days but on the third day she wanted to break up.
We broke up on 15 august,i went to no contact.
Now she is posting status on whatsapp which has the songs she shared to me before brake up.

My SP sent me a usual loving text 2 weeks ago and I replied back and then I sent her another message the day after and now 2 weeks have gone by and I’ve not heard from her and I’m not a person to keep reaching out , I am still waiting for her to reply so as I say 2 weeks and I am in no contact so to speak and I will continue to stay in no contact until she reaches out. So my situation is different from the average Joe bloggs situation because like I say everything was going ok and there was no signs of her doing this from her last loving morning text. We are coming up to 4 years of being together. In December we should be going away for 2 nights whilst we are away we have a play at a theatre to go to which everything is all paid for, if she doesn’t reach out I am still going away.
