Very nice car. I own a 1932 Morris Minor Two-Seater (the original 1928-1934 Minor), that the Morris Eight replaced in late-1934. I've done 11,000 miles over the last 3 years, including 1,200 miles on a tour from my home in Worcestershire to Glen Coe in the Scottish Highlands and back, in June last year (in 28 degree heat!). The car bowls along at 40-45mph, with a max of about 53mph. I'm looking to go further north this summer.
Nice one Graham! I’m doubly jealous you have a Morris 8, and that you’re touring at the moment ! Anywhere special tonight ? Hope the Classic 500 is riding well 😁
@@BulletWanderer Pornic on the west coast weather not good , classic running well with just a broken wire for starter control to relay ,went to the famous hotel de France near Le Mans where all the big teams stayed.
I'm betting they still have some extra red paint in that garage somewhere. Neat car(s)! But, somebody put the steering wheels on the wrong side. Just trying to help. Cheers!
Indeed, a lot of technical and mechanical know how I do not have, I'll be sticking with Daisy 😅 Richard, yup! Although I thought they had shut down in Waterford so I was surprised to see it running again 🤔
Bone shaker!? Aside from the pedals being a bit too close , it’s a very comfy ride! I’d never actually swap my bike , but it would be pretty cool to own a vintage car like this as well as the bike, they’re wonderful machines 😁
Its 1935 88 years old STOP revving the shit out of the motor DH even new it wasn't designed for your heavy foot love the car maybe a new set of over size piston rings and hone the bores will give you years of smoke free driving good luck with her .the later model i think 41 had 4 forward gears i think its a clean swap cruse at 41 MPH.
Ahhhh, they don’t make em like they used to… Thankfully 😆…that barking dog knows his stuff, obviously commenting on your driving skills 🫣😁👍🤣. Loved this , thank you 👍😁
Nice day out in Ireland
Beautiful classic still bringing smiles to faces.
Not filmed here, but the woman who runs the bus café came out to get her picture in it, lots of smiles to faces indeed 😁
Now that's too cool 😎 🍻🤙
Great to see an old car still on the go after all those years!
A touch of class.
You sir have very cool friends

Lovely car, that! I'd say it was wonderful driving with the top down in that heat. 😁 Love to hear how much use you're getting out of it too 👍
What lovely old car! I would definitely buy one of these!
You and me both! 😁
A change of pace always welcomed... be it history in stone.... or vintage iron... two or four wheels... Now.... go find a Tiger Moth 😎
Someday ! 😁
What an awesome day that had to be! And a fine old car that is, outstanding!
‘Twas indeed , and we even had the weather for it 😁
Wow! You got me!
😜
Hi Bre😊ndan touring south west France at the moment, but we also have a 1936 Morris 8 tourer.
Touring on classic 500.

😂😂 I think they might have one car with the steering wheel on the correct side 🤔
The colour of the car was too big a red herring Brendan! Happy new year to you😂🤣
Very good 😂
How did you manage SUNSHINE and no rain!….
It’s a mystery to me , was supposed to be raining heavily 😅
Nice car. But cant hold a candle to a bike. Lot more work driving a vintage car that a modern 1.
And was it Richard u did ibt with?

@@BulletWanderer maby some1 else is there now. I an richard did training together with IRTA. Befor the gov got the rsa up and running.
Oh that would be epic for a European trip- if you had lots of time 😂
Hard enough to find the time with Daisy, maybe when I retire 😂
@@BulletWanderer one can dream!
Hehe 😆 Cute though innit 🤗
No fooling you, I’ll have to try harder next year 😂 agreed!
🤣 I’m always on guard 🙂
Nice April Fool Brendan 😂😂
Had to 😂
@@BulletWanderer You tinker... for a moment I was thinking "Oh poor DaisyBell 😪". Not that the '35 Morris isn't a delight, of course ☺️
@@Lanes-Explorer5733 I suspect I fooled a good few people with this one , lost a few subscribers immediately 😂
@@BulletWanderer 😂😂😂
Nice decision but with wet eyes 😢
It’s only April Fools, Daisy will be back soon enough 😁
I wouldn’t swap any bike for that old bone shaker or any modern granny cage either . I like to get through the traffic & on my way .
