My eyes have been opened to the true character of a wide swath of the American people, and it's heartbreaking. I was home sick on January 6th and saw it all play out in real time. That anyone could support that monster is beyond understanding.

There was an incredible bipartisan bill to solve or at least improve it. mrtRump told his sycophants in Congress to tank it (some whom actually wrote it). mrtRump needs to go away and let people who care about this country run it. But he won't. He wants the safety of office to end his accountability for the crimes against this country that he has committed. And if he succeeds, he will rip up the Constitution, end the USA as we know it and there will never be an election again. So your choice is simple; a decent man who happens to be old but is a dedicated public servant who will surround himself w honorable, skilled staff or a lying convicted felon who is only out for himself and if he regains power he will end this country and remake it in the image of those ruled by his friends Putin, Xi andJong Un. The choice is yours.
Why are we talking about his age still? It’s a health issue and anyone with any experience with a loved one who suffers from dimentia / Alzheimer’s who listened to Biden understands that. Praise this man for a lifetime of service but save him from himself and his inner circle (including his family apparently) who care more about power and influence than they do about the President’s health and legacy.

If Biden goes, Harris must go too. If she can't step up as presidential nominee from vice presidential nominee, then she certainly can't step up to the presidency if the president is incapable of serving. Otherwise, the Dems are saying Harris can't be the nominee, but if the nominee wins and then dies, Harris can step up to be president. They BOTH have to go.
Article 25 was on the table for Trump during the January 6th fiasco. It would have allowed Pence to become president. Pence denied it. I think in part for fear of Trump.
But I agree, both have got to go.

I follow his schedule and his accomplishments really closely, which most Americans do not. Yes, I trust that he is fit for office, and he's assembled a great team that has passed a ton of legislation with the slimmest of majorities. Give us four more years, and hold Trump accountable for the harm he's done to society.

Watched the debate on X with Biden, Trump & Kennedy. It was wonderful to compare all 3 candidates even though it felt like Deja vu with Trump and Biden who had nothing new to say. Men, what a difference it was hearing from RFK Jr. We however can not deny what is glaringly obvious that Biden is too old. No debate is going to fix that.
This is like someone panicking the morning a big project is due, and wondering loudly how the due date could’ve been such a surprise.

When I was a young girl, I admired your mother... Nancy Dickerson. I wanted to go into journalism and follow in her footsteps, along with others like Dorothy Kilgallen. I am so glad that it never happened. So many journalists, over time, chose to travel down the broader path and have adhered to the scripts that arrive around 4 AM in the morning from the West Coast.

The stakes could not have been greater in American politics. While I agree anyone can have a bad debate night -- this was not a one-off. Biden said it is "hard to debate a liar" and I vehemently disagree. You respond point by point with facts and Biden did not do that - whether he was suffering with a cold or whatever --- it was an extremely alarming and unacceptable performance. He is speaking with his family -- and in addition-- former Presidents and the Democratic party hierarchy need to sit down with him for a very frank and candid chat.

The election was fair and without any fraud that affected the outcome. Trump set up January 6th and did nothing to stop it for three hours. His team didn't whisk him off to a safe place because they knew the rioters were pro-Trump. Then he stole government documents, kept them illegally, refused to give them up, lied about it, got others to lie for him, and did everything to delay his trials because he knows he's guilty of it all. There, now you know.
