Strand and stasis both got nerfed a season or 2 after, bungie states they rather release something OP and nerf it than release it too weak. It helps drive sales for the new dlc.

for those who want to know why this works, when several enemies are tethered, damaging one damages the rest. its kind of a luck thing here, because in order to hit that 1.5m grapple melee, you specifically need your 1-2punch shotgun shot to kill a tethered target by shared damage. this procs stylish executioner, you go invisible and if your next melee happens while invisible, you get a 3x multiplier to your melee damage. best when a boss is surrounded by ads in tether range

As a titan main this upsets me first they release a raid where I am useless next they take away my sole use
As a hunter titans are definitely being slept on when it comes to the witness.. all that strafing we have to do. Could all be avoided with a titan barrier

@abdalrhman7998 nah man you're high as hell. Titans got hard shafted with prismatic. Anything they could ever do does not compare to what warlocks and hunters are doing right now. Why do you think of the first 50 salvations edge raids completed like only 5% were with a titan. When 2 classes make up 95% of what people are using for end game content there is something extremely wrong. So don't start with that crap. Either titan prismatic needs some changes or buffs. I'll never ask for a hunter or warlock nerf but I'd sure like to have my titan on their lvl.

The one where titans bonk hammer builf got nerfed I to uselessness but hunters combination blow build didnt? The hunters who can now mimic 1 of titans best build(synthos grapple) but titans can't mimic hunters 😂
@sublimetoast1441 I would argue that the only reason titans have a poor day 1 salvations edge completion rate is because they do not have much ranged stuff. Standing on a platform a good amount of distance away from the witness defiantly helped people switch off of titan. Hunters most definitely ate the best with prismatic, but the only reason you think titans are bad is because you're not looking hard enough for good combos. Go look up some videos, and prove me wrong. I am a warlock main myself and definitely don't know the class item roll off the top of my head, but I bet you I could easily make 3 or 4 good builds for titan with prismatic and the class item. You guys ate good, you probably just don't know it yet.
@Djc091 no, titan main here, titans have 2 builds, triple consecration and thunderclap diamond lance, the later of which is ok at best, both of which is not gonna be great in end game like GMs. Hunters are versatile, they can be the best dps for end game, and they can switch and be 1 of the best ad clear in regular content, their best builds got carried over into prismatic and got boosted by it, titans can't say that.

@@ChuuniKaede Ooh yay, triple consecration followed by a long ass cooldown for your melee abilities, with no reliable recovery because the Knockout rework only works if you kill several small ads. Oh and dont forget that literally nothing but consecration + knockout has any synergy at all on the class. Love it, so busted. Meanwhile hunters have double golden gun, infinite damage resistance combo'd with exploding melee's that one shot anything not a boss, and then this build here where they just one shot bosses with grapple. Warlock gets triple buddies that can all keep devour going infinitely, now please tell me how prismatic titan isn't just a worse version of all its parts combined. Just run strand BoW, you'll actually do something for your team with the melee regen at least

(Actium war rig and sweet business do t count because nobody uses that combo ever) *oh by the way titans had glaive with synthos then got it removed, then hunters got an exotic specifically for glaives. Then the new raid that came out people want hunters and only hunters to beat the raid, so tell me who's the spoiled child of the 3 classes.

Titans have almost nothing left to offer a fireteam at this point and it’s kinda sad.

I was saying legit 2 years ago that we are going to see the complete death of the titan class as a whole and with just 3 whole titans in the top 50 teams for salvation we are basically there. The power balance is so incredibly skewed its not even worth making a bungo bias meme cause this goes straight to pure malice and that they just want the class gone.

stylish has a hidden 3x multiplier for the first punch coming out of invis. combine that with 12p/synthos/shield crush/tether weaken and you get this monstrosity
the missing piece is that you need your one two punch shotgun shot to kill a tethered ad (tether shares damage). you then go invisible while grappling and get that 3x on the melee

@clyde its the invis procc on executioner it gives your next melee a boost + weaken. if you repeat it you hit a already weakened enemy with a double boosted melee

This is why they didn’t give titans grapple grenade on prismatic. They knew we were too powerful with just synthos and if they gave us grapple with 2 melee boosting exotic perks any boss would be cooked 😂

I'm pretty sure it's bugged because the damage makes no sense. I think it's stacking damage multiplier on top of tether, which it shouldn't do
Everything that buffs this build exists in the strand titan rotation but it never reached these numbers even with the banner of war on top of all of this

I cant stand my best 2 options as a hunter are punch(which i hate) and double golden gun (which is 0 fun when not hitting a raidboss) nerf the melee to the ground and buff the tether or something

Dunnno how many times ive tried, i cant seem to get these damage numbers to proc, more often than not its somewhere between 50-350k a hit. Titans are still far more efficient with this
Cause stylish has always had a melee boost when attacking from invis. Also synthoceps is crazy for this exact reason.

I'm fine with this... I do however have one question... when do us warlocks get a turn??? I would very much like to have even a month of being the class to just show up to a raid/dungeon and OBLITERATE a boss and have my friend just look at me and go.. "WTF was that?"
You can still do that with apotheosis and stareater combo and starfire also could do the same in its prime.

Banner worm god is still going to compete with this don't worry
This build requires enemy's near the boss the reproc executioner similarly to worm gods damage boost
For an encounter like Templar that is nothing but dps you won't have to worry the boss will die no matter what
Banner + worm will output a minimum of 6 mil which is much more damage than is needed unless your in low man raids where the extra dps will be nice
TLDR: You are fine don't worry you'll still get into kwtd raids and output about half the teams damage
We were just starting to have fun with a new toy
Me who has the dlc since it came out and still doesn't have a single special exotic bc the game makes you play with multiple people just to get it and i hate people 😂
