It's simpler than it seems but let me explain it for those having trouble understanding. There are 2 stages: Qualifiers (Swiss) and Knockout (Double Elimination)
Swiss:
- Everyone gets to play for 5 rounds of a Bo1
- If you win all 5/5, you become placed in seed 1-2
- If you win 4/5, you're placed in seed 3-5
- If you win 3/5, you're placed in seed 6-8
- If you win 2/5 or less, you're eliminated
- That's why they said 3 wins to move on, and 3 losses to be eliminated
- Why? So that more teams will face each other. This also means you have to be ready for any team because back then you just had to prepare for the teams in your group. Now your next opponent depends on your performance. If you win, you go against other winners so it becomes increasingly hard to get a winstreak. For instance you already won 3/3 points, on the 4th round you will face other teams that also have 3/3 points.
- Will this prevent ph vs ph? Not necessarily. In fact, it's possible for all ph teams to get all the top seeds. As long as you win 3 games, you are through to the next round.
Knockout stage
- Why is seed important? Being in seed 1-2 means you scored 5/5 on the first stage and you won't go against teams who also scored 5/5
- This is no longer Bo1 so knocking out your opponent is less prone to luck or surprise.
- If you lose to your matchup, there is still chance to comeback from the loser's bracket thats why it's called "Double Elimination"
I think everyone is familiar with Double Elimination format but if something didnt make sense feel free to ask question about any of them.
my guy
Makes it first of kind, where we know actual ranking of all regions
I think this will shuffle some cards now the team needs to have strategy outside the game too
Swiss stage is a mixture of bo1 and bo3 , first all 16 teams will play a bo1 to determine 1-0 and 0-1 brackets , then another round of bo1 in these two bracket s and determines four 2-0 teams, eight 1-1 teams, and four 0-2 teams.
Then the 2-0 bracket plays bo3 , which makes 2 teams qualify as 3-0, 2 teams continue as 2-1. The 1-1 bracket still plays bo1, which makes four 2-1 teams, and four 1-2 teams. Then the four 0-2 teams plays their elimination series in bo3, which makes 2 teams advance as 1-2, and 2 teams eliminated as 0-3.
After that there’s still 12 teams in the Swiss stage, six 2-1 teams and six 1-2 teams. These two brackets will fight in bo3, which produce 3 teams qualified as 3-1, 6 teams continues as 2-2, and 3 teams knocked out as 1-3. In the final bracket of Swiss stage , six 2-2 teams play bo3 and makes 3 teams qualify as 3-2, and 3 teams go home as 2-3. After this whole Swiss stage 8 teams make it to play offs and 8 teams goes home.
there will only be 2 rounds of bo1 in Swiss stage, and the rest are all bo3. And what’s fun about it is after each bracket there’s a redraw, so you will never know who’s ur opponent until quite literally the day before the match .
Swiss stage also determines the first round of play off draws, there’s two 3-0 teams, three 3-1 teams, and three 3-2 teams. 3-0 teams will only draw 3-2 teams. Which will leave a 3-2 team to draw with the 3-1 teams. So basically 3-0 plays 3-2, and 3-1 plays with each other with an addition of 3-2.
Hope this helps I’ve been watching league worlds so I know how this looks like :)
Wooh mind blowing explanation thank you mate but after I read your comment I still don't get it. 😂😂😂😂
Confusing mate
I think I'm more confused now 😅
If still confused, just watch LoL swiss stage
finally got it thank you very much
This has to be the best format of any m-series yet. The SWISS format is really good because it forces you to be prepare for any team. This M6 already looks fire 🔥
In Bo1 drafting itself will be a major thing basically if one team is outdrafted then its already finished. So it will be like two coaches playing chess, the coaches will also need to come up with their strategies and ideas to outdraft the opponent's coach in drafting phase. No slack this time both the coach and players have to put in the hardwork
I think these guys need to act in an actual mobile legends exclusive series 😂. Damn they're greater than ever 🤩
Simple version win 3 times your in loose 3 times your out its the modern bracket stages used in tournaments now like dota and league of legends more intense and hard format
No way mirko doing okarun hairstyle 😂
I like how Mirko and GideonQ are the villains while Naisou is there just "Why we still here?" and we need this kind of acting in the mlbb scene. Anyway break a leg to every teams in M6 may the best Team become the champ!
Woahhh so much hyped!!! Im super excited!!!
Better but I wish it wasBo3 for the 3rd win, 3 Bo1s seem a little fast and too easy. There is still much luck in this format but it is very interesting

that would defeat the very purpose of best of 1..which mean you dont get second chance..stake is very hight..no room for error so its gonna be bloody and exciting
Best of 1 is Disgusting!
That's how the format of Swiss Stage is. Other games are already doing this.
I love it... Things about to get interesting... I want upsets after upset
If you've watched lol worlds then you know swiss format
Finally no more teams like brazil and turkey getting ez matches and top 8 now we will have the best only at the top but i know u guys got it from league
swiss stage actually was more popularly used in CS so it's decades old
Pray to god that NA MLBB gets the same luck in the Swiss draw that NA got in League of Legends today.

I didn't understand how everything works at all, all I heard was brackets, random draw, pool, seed and grand finals
In the Swiss Stage, teams will be randomly drawn. A team from PH can meet another PH team. And teams that get 3 wins will qualify to the playoffs, be it 3-0 or 3-2. The teams that lost 3 times will be eliminated.
And as usual, the playoffs will use double-elimination format.
Hope this helps.
@@lazuardimambaulhuda4796 I think I'll have a better grasp of the rules and the system in action so we'll see

The knockout stage is similar to M4 and M3
This M6 is going to be flawless.
Damnnnn, M6 will be super duper fun
Is it like the worlds?
yeah man

so that makes it harder for PH vs PH in the grand finals of M6, oh moontoon
Stfu how does it makes it harder . See League of Legends at last only the best 8 reaches the knockout
And in mlbb unlike before where teams like turkey used to get ez matches and top 8 now that's not the case anyone
It's quite the opposite because you won't get stuck in your group anymore. You are paired based on your performance. If ph teams keep winning they will eventually reach grand finals
Please don't do best of 1s, I know you think it puts pressure on teams to draft battle but you end up making the fun last too short and can't out draft or out strategise
Bruh...it will cost more money bro
Good luck have fun I guess
They’re trying too much. I still didnt get all of it. This could have been presented better via voice over

In order to prevent PH VS PH finals

They should jist give NA 2 slots man
No slots to waste
They need to prove that Na deserve a 2 slots
3rd in ph is better than the 2nd in na 😂😂
Malaysia deserve 2 slots than NA ... NA can't prove that they deserve 2 slots ... Have you heard any top 2 teams in NA that possible to win M-series??? No ... Because none of the teams in NA is strong right now... NA deserve to be in a wild card no cap.
More Drama ❌

This is good tho
It's simple, mid-tier teams sucked so much that they needed montoon to change game format 😂 The skill gap is so wide, the only way for losers to win is to fight other losers, and only way for winners to lose is by other winners. Thus, increasing the chances of losers to reach the knockout stage.
It's simple but mind-blowing that how wrong you can be, even if one of the weak teams win, they still have to fight the strong teams that lost, if anything it decreases the weak teams' chances to go to playoffs
@@justarandomdudelol7702 Think about it really hard. 0-1 winners have 50% chance to face off with other 0-1 winners. And after that, they still have good chance to face non-dominant teams and even other 0-1 winners or losers who happen to win the second match.
Unlike in the previous format, if you put weak teams in groups with PH and MY or SG, bottom teams would not even have a shot at knockout stage at all. In that format, weak teams don't even got a chance after announcing the groups.
While in this format, they had better chances of scoring wins if luck favors their team in drawing opps. Lol
Like I said, this increased the chances of losers to reach and/or have a better placement in the knockout stage. 😂
JUST DONT RIG THE DRAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
