C. J. Lewandowski Discusses His Friendship with Bobby Osborne

In March of 2024, C.J. Lewandowski, mandolin player and founder of bluegrass group the Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, visited the Museum to celebrate the opening of "American Currents: State of the Music," an exhibit in which he's featured alongside his musical hero, Bobby Osborne. In this clip, Lewandowski discusses his relationship with the bluegrass legend, who passed away one year ago on June 27. Lewandowski's new single, out today, is from his forthcoming album, which pays tribute to Osborne and features fellow "American Currents" artist Billy Strings.
