I saw Justin in a small (150 people) show in AZ last autumn. He set this song up by saying he wrote this song from his wife's perspective. He writes a lot about his pain, this was her voice through his healing if she could write a song. He had nearly everyone in the place crying when he was done.
The difference between a genius and a madman is that the genius uses his madness constructively while the madman uses his genius destructively. Justin is the madman. A brilliant artist. Maybe the best in the world. He's unique. All things happen for a reason and this guy was meant to walk through coals to get his point across to everyone.
