This can help you animate gacha poses without actually animating, but not everyone is good at or interested in it, so maybe they should add some premade animations instead of putting a assignment on their desks and saying “get started” Does anyone agree?
I like actually mainly stopped using GL2 because custom poses are such a pain, it takes forever to even make a short video. I hope there’s som way to get static poses back
Some things I think about this update: -I like the animated poses due to being able to make goofy animated poses and having more variety to animated poses unlike GL1. -I'm bummed that there are no signs of bedrooms so I can't shoe my characters sleeping for no god damn reason lol -Seeing Mokey as a preset makes me happy :) -More assets are cool I guess.
A solution for the background issue I can only recommend is using green screen! (or pink/blue if ur character has green in it) Not only does it allow you to use any background you want but you can also add effects like shading on your characters and stuff! I personally like it a lot

I’m actually pretty mad about it. Like who’s ACTUALLY gonna use that?? Yeah it’s nice that we have custom poses now, but even that is extremely hard and time consuming to do! The game not having static poses is really the only thing that’s stoping me from using it. It’s has lots of amazing features, but the studio mode isn’t good at all for multiple reasons. I’m sticking to gacha club and gacha life until this game gets more “usable”. Every thing else in the update is great.
Your not the only one, I think it’s outrageous that we waited 2 months for an update, and that so called ‘update’ removed something we NEEDED, and just added a few random items. I don’t think it was worth the wait at all

Honestly the only thing that I like the most about this update is working hex code feature, blinking animations and new backgrounds. I'm not a big fan of these animated poses, I think I still prefer animating in FlipaClip or Ibis Paint X. 💁
pros and cons of this update; -pro: the animated poses are a LIFESAVER for my storage. it sucks having to take 5+ screenshots just for one pose. -con: i, a girl who gives up very easily, cannot make these custom poses very well. which means since the static poses are removed, it will take pretty long to make edits, mini movies and even music videos. -pro: the assets, they are very nice. the assets are like the assets in a mod that i could never have, as an iOS user. -con: some of these assets are… very… questionable. -pro: the backgrounds, they definitely help. i’m really excited for the camera-roll background feature!!! -con: the backgrounds are kinda random… no sign of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. they just kinda look straight out of games like omori roblox and others.. -con: these updates usually make the game very laggy. it’s very annoying
I’m not gonna attack Luni but I personally don’t like the update and I would’ve preferred if it took longer so he could add the over promised features for the November/December update. Im personally not sure if im gonna use it often
I’m impressed by the fact that they made a custom animated pose! Don’t attack Luni cuz he didn’t make static poses, the animated poses are good enough. I’m sure some people are going to attempt to make the static poses for others to use anyways. Edit: a lot of people are saying that they would prefer static poses, but like I said, there will be people who will make every single pose and allow others to use them.
Yes! I've already started making them, and will make every one of them, so hopefully it helps alot of people. It sucks they were removed but luckily theres ways we can solve it :3

Already day 4 since the update is available to 1% users, but I'm hyped up for the color hex code! Also you can use custom poses for OG GL and GC static poses.
i honestly HATE this update. Sure we got animated poses but honestly what else? 20 assets? Blinking animations? 50 new glitches? I waited 2 months for this. The Animated poses wouldnt be a problem if the CODES WORKED! BUT NO, this update just HAD to break the codes. i regret updating so much, animated poses or not.

Nope, videos take longer to make because of the lack of backgrounds and static poses, animated poses are hard to time and would often take more time than just doing the frames in custom poses and putting it all together in an editing app

The features and assets In Gacha Life 2 are amazing but my personal opinion I don’t like the game I play Gacha Club and Gacha Life for fun or to make stories with my characters not make animations or things like that so the game isn’t for me I don’t like making my own poses since I’m not good at it and I hate how we have to make our own walking poses at the moment there isn’t many backgrounds either ik they will probably add more but I’d rather Play Gacha Club And Gacha Life with their backgrounds already there and they are more fun in my opinion

I can see why they would have some problems with the static poses. If you use some of the plain presets in the preset section to make an oc, (for example i use the slim body base by @Cheryz_Cute from preset section to make an oc.) And if you use that, they’re custom designs so when you go to make a custom pose you can make the body skinnier by adjusting it. So if you make ur oc have a small head and tiny body, and if Luni were to add the Static poses and you use them, the body shape and head size won’t be the same. To fix this, maybe Luni should add body part adjustments (to make oc’s body different) so they can have the same body size and head whilst using static poses like in gacha club.
Every character I make in it has slightly to very different different proportions so I can’t use the animation thing unless it applies to one character but I supposed the new assets look good!

I think the update is not worth it, we have to make our own poses still! We have to wait even longer for the things in studio, though it was supposed to come out in this update?! Imo GL2 is a flop

when does stuff like computers get updated? I opened Gl2 on my chromebook but it still hasn't updated. I didn't get a notification to update it or anything so HELP I'M CONFUSED
There are some gachatubers that have already made static poses for you(standing, walking, running and so on). The only th you have to do is to type “gl2 poses” and yoh will see either static poses or animated poses. Click to any video that has static poses and copy and go to gl2 and paste it there
I need to know if others have encountered this, but I can no longer paste the codes for poses and characters, it still works on my other apps, anyone else noticed this?

There is a way to put static poses in custom poses without you making it on your own
There are some gachatubers that have already made static poses for you(standing, walking, running and so on). The only th you have to do is to type “gl2 poses” and yoh will see either static poses or animated poses.
Click to any video that has static poses and copy and go to gl2 and paste it there
I need to know if others have encountered this, but I can no longer paste the codes for poses and characters, it still works on my other apps, anyone else noticed this?
