Sir ek baat ..............Jab major part of public kisi bhi chez ko ek medium of exchange samajh leti hai toh wo chez apne aap currency ke brabar ho jaati hai phir chahe wo leagal ho ya illegal crypto mai bhi yehi hua hai
I think CBDC, Currency Notes, and UPI will all simultaneously exist in the market for the next several years. Those who do not want to link the UPI with their Bank Account can keep the CBDC in their digital wallet. Those who do not want to even deal with a CBDC wallet in the phone will carry Currency Notes. Eventually, RBI will keep converting the returning Rs. 2000 and Rs. 500 Currency Notes to CBDC and stop printing new currency notes.

Assets are of two types ; Tangible and intangible. Goodwill, patent etc. are intangible ; those cannot be touched. So the statement that which is touchable only that is asset is a wrong statement.

The basic mistake is the judgment of the Court which decided that it is perfectly alright with Crypto Currency and despite knowing that there is no regulator fir the same......it would have been better for the court to ask the Central Government in consultation with RBI to bring out legislation for so called Crypto Currency or digital currency.....it is the domain of Finance Ministry and Central Government has the power to pass legislation......but Judiciary intervened in the same without considering who will regulate this market.....what will be the implications of the same in our country......why it is required in the first place.......are we making any extra constitutional body which will supersede RBI and can print these Crypto Currencies....
The Supreme Court said the RBI has no power over the crypto-currency. It hasn't stopped the CG to make a bill as to regulation of crypto
Notes above 1rupee are called Bank Notes and the RBI governor promises to pay the bearer a sum on demand

Income tax doesn't work on the basis of legality. The Income Tax Act, 1961 clearly states that any income will be covered under this act and will be liable to tax unless otherwise specified. The government has for long not used this provision. Even, this provision has not been used by the current budget where the government has classified crypto-currency as a digital currency. However, the GOI has the power to tax income whether legal or otherwise. Moreover, the gain will be recognized into INR which is Indian currency
Ankit Sir.....but tax has nothing to do with legality or illegality of any transactions.......even income earned out of illegal transactions are subjected to income tax as per IT Act.....you will have to pay taxes on that income......subsequently IPC or whatever act under which these illegal transactions fall will take care of how the same is punishable.....

ठिक ऐसा हि तर्क 7 hours पेहेले मैने भि कमेन्ट किया था। मतलब जहाँ जैसे भि इन्भेस्ट कर्ना हे करो पर इस्के लिए लोन नहि मिलेगा पर कहि इन्भेस्ट करके मुनाफा निकाल लिया तो रास्ट्र को ट्याक्स देदो। नहि तो वो काला धन साबित होगा।
