I was excited to see the Hellblade 2 trailer the other day and happy that she is still playing Senua. The game wouldn’t be the same with a different actress.

couldn't agree more. I think the fact that the literal actress that is senua edits the trailer helps. She knows her better than anyone and she just nailed the mood of the trailer so well. It's dark, yet senua is empowered. It presents a challenge, and senua seems badass and ready for it, yet vulnerable in her classic senua way at the same time. It teases story and lore, yet doesn't give anything away. This is a near perfect trailer in my opinion and I think the fact that the lead actress is also the lead video editor is a strong factor in its brilliance.

This is a gem of a story. I don't know about everyone else, but the game Hellblade: Senua's Saga came out of nowhere and I played it and it was just so immersive and captivating, I love all the performances and in particular that of the main actress. Little did I know all about this, but gradually I came to know because I started looking on the internet for info. The performance, alone, without knowing anything else, just captured me. And then knowing all this I feel like it's the story of how lots of "ordinary" people just have that over the moon potential. Can't wait for Hellblade 2. PS: also the way they took the trouble to consult with actual doctors specializing in mental health and people experiencing mental health problems, I just feel so humbled by all this work to take all that into account whilst making the game - btw, videogames, seemingly a vapid thing, right? Well, not so much if you do it this way.

Finished the game a week ago and have been analyzing and researching the hell out of it.......this is probably the most effectively deep games ever made. Elements/devices they used to trick you and the overall gameplay and story had more thought put into them than anything Hollywood has shit out in the last few years, let alone any other game I’ve played.
I've loved her work so much, She did amazing work in Sacrifice, can't wait to see how she does in Saga. Still feels like the mood is going to be a complete flip so that has me more curious than anything.
I find this game beautiful, the dark settings, and the character, I saw the preview of the second episode, and I can't wait to get it, the only thing I regret is that there is no Italian dubbing.
