Welcome To The Jungle was on Appetite For Destruction, which was realised in 1987, not 1988
oh my.. of course you're right, and it's also my favorite album of all time! I think there's a mistake there 😅
But the Welcome to the Jungle single wasn't released in the USA until the fall of 1988, so I don't think this should be called a mistake. 1988 is an appropriate year to cite for Welcome to the Jungle.
...Though by my same logic Beat It should be for 1983, not 1982. Maybe we should say you can choose the year of the album release or single release, whichever is more convenient. :)
no one cares
When it came to Guns N' Roses, I was expecting Sweet Child O' Mine.
@Billy Levy music Well, Guns N' Roses did bring authenticity back to hard rock in the late 1980s when glam metal was the big thing.
Kickstart My Heart has such a kickass riff. Mick Mars is so underappreciated.
Yes..I totally agree...I personally would put Mick Mars on my Top 10 list....some folks might disagree with me on that....that's okay....everybody has their own opinion and favs.....I just think Mick Mars is way underrated......He might be alittle underappreciated as well.....but I think most people realize the kick ass riffs he writes like Kick start, Live wire To young to fall in love, Wild side, etc. Along with the prolific songwriter/lyricist's from Nikki Sixx....Tommy Lee and Vince Neil are the icing on the cake! So my point my opine is without Mick kicking ass on guitar all those years....Crue.....would of never been as successful as they were/and still are.....without Mick freakin Mars!
Motley tiene muy buenos riffs, pero sucede que la mayoría están basados en las mismas notas, por ej shout at the devil y live wire....La misma crítica que le suelen hacer a slash. Para mi, ambos son grandes guutarristas
Hell ya dude Mick is amazing and super talented, the guys sound is like no one else’s and he doesn’t play that flashy shit he plays blues better than most blues guitarists out there actually lol
This is definitely one of his best licks, he’s got so many but check out too young to fall in love, damn I love the chord changes and the guitar changes are just fucking deadly.
Sadique Mridha did he say Mick WROTE it? I think we all know Nikki wrote it. Mick is playing it well and has a unique sound. Mick adds stuff too but hell ya Nikki is the man
Too fast for love is a shitload of kickass riffs one after another. Relentless guitar kickassery. Underappreciated album
You've forgotten the ACDC's riffs in the Back In Black album !
Antoine BAUX i always forget that’s 80’s
And nobody remembers Powerage album while talkin about 70's
Yeah like Back In Black, Hells Bells, You Shook Me All Night Long, Shoot To Thrill, Rock And Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution, basically the whole album.
Plus the nervous shakedown for 1983 from the flick of the album
There is no way to make a proper top-10 riffs about 80's. There were just too many awesome riffs in that decade.
True. You'd need a Top 100.
Same as '70's
This is his personal top 10 probably so i guess it is kinda subjective
Thank you for Money for Nothing and Master of Puppets! I love these amazing riffs!
How many Les Paul’s do you have?
Danilo: yES
3
I was getting nervous that you forgot Kickstart My Heart.... close one haha.
Pour some sugar on me def Leppard is my favourite song
Does anyone think back in black should have been here? (1980)
I don't it is way too basic to fit in with the other picks
It’s a good pick but crazy train is a better riff
me crazy train is a good and fast riff but back in black is more kiskass and has more balls to it
Yo are the real Billie Joe Armstrong?
The singer of Green day
@@antoniomartinezmartinez1633 obviously he’s not
You should do these types of videos but with like underrated riffs. That would be cool to broaden peoples horizons
I agree
I second
FOURTH
i fifth that
I'm a simple girl, I see Eddie Van Halen, and I click on the video. Also, a really nice touch to add in Rush!! As a Canadian, I normally see people leave them out of their lists and such, so it was cool to see them included!! Wonderful work, as always!! Keep on rockin'!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you!! 🤘🏻
@@DaniloVicari what Michael Jackson song did EVH rip off 2 solos for, walk out and sat " TAKE U R PICK"?
THANKS!
first, i thought 1987 will be sweet child o mine
Well the riff's not that great but it's solo on the other hand is one of the best for me
Top 10 Def Leppard riffs would be insane!!!
Westin Lougheed Yeah!
Yeah their so underrated and under appreciated but in my opinion one of the best 80’s band and still is
@@haroldiniho726 have to agree
80»back in black
81» tom saywer
82»beat it
83»the trooper
84»panama
85»money for nothing
86»master of puppets
87» welcome to the jungle
87»pour some suger on me
89»kickstart my heart
Come on man crazy train is one of the best Riff ever written
@@abhisheknautiyal8877 i know its good and all but back in black is just better
@@thox7358 well I respect your opinion but it's just some open chords with a bit groove just saying
@@abhisheknautiyal8877 but it's a lot more popular than crazy train and it's 2nd best selling album of all time.
agree with the change from Crazy Train to Back In Black...CT is overrated imho
Welcome to the jungle came out in 1987 but still a good video:))
Yep, huge mistake, my fault!!
Danilo Vicari you do so many good videos, maybe do top 10 hair metal riffs, or soundalike bands such as AC/DC and Led Zeppelin or GNR and Mötley
Danilo, if you do a 90's riffs video, I'm pretty sure to be expecting some Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Pantera, etc. Lol
Not to mention good ol' James & Kirk
@@bipbipletucha their best was in the 80's imo.
@@rickleblanc8900 I agree, but the black album has some ridiculously famous riffs that are pretty damn good
Pearl Jam has some good rifts in the 90’s
Never clicked so fast on notification
I was hoping that 1987 would’ve been “Still of the Night” by Whitesnake, but this was still a great video dude 🤘🏻
Such an underrated band. Coverdale is mostly known for his role in Deep Purple.
@@VarunSarathy Not really, Whitesnake are more famous because of the pop hits. Problem is, that makes them overlooked by rock fans too often. Slide it In is an absolute killer album! And all their others.
80s music is so memorable
So glad you picked Kickstart My Heart for #1. Very addictive riff.
its chronological not numbered lol
Was kinda hoping to hear In The Still Of The Night (1987) lol
But hey great video, great playing and awesome guitars! Nice job ! Keep on rockin!
Simply the best decade of music and pop culture in general.
You nailed Master of Puppets dude!!
I don't know why, but I always thought that pinch harmonic in Panama was so sick. 2:07 You did it justice as well.
Agree, thanks mate!!
what a decade for all kinds of music
also a really good decade for movies!!
you should do a Top 10 Riffs of the 1780's next!
Not sure they had electric guitars back in 1780s.
My favourite music decade super video Danilo 🤟
Excited for the next one, I hope there is some Pantera on that list
There should be Painkiller
@@VarsityAthlete04 Indeed there should
All good stuff from my teenage years ,, I’m so old 😂👍👍
Bro, sick playing. Love your channel
The flanger/phaser effect on 1984 / Panama seemed a bit odd to me until I watched the 1970s and saw the same guitar used for 1978 / Ain't Talkin' Bout Love (where it is far more appropriate). I'm guessing they were recorded back-to-back :-) Great videos... the playing is superb, IMHO
So glad to see Rush here :')
1980 motorhead- ace of spades
1981 acdc- for those about to rock (we salute you)
1982 iron maiden - the number of the beast
1983 metallica - whiplash
1984 pantera - all over tonight
1985 megadeth - chosen ones
1986 slayer - angel of death
1987 black sabbath - the eternal idol
1988 ozzy osbourne - shot in the dark
1989 nirvana - floyd the barber
for 1987 i prefer among the living by anthrax but this list is so sick dude
No Van Halen? 🤨🤨
Kickstart my heart was amazing but girls girls girls should've been in there too
You have so many nice guitars! I'm so jealous.
Wicked stuff man well done
Thanks man🤘🏻🤘🏻
Los 80´s reducirlos a 10 riffs es imposible, hubieron tantos que 100 seria mínimo... Muchos de lo que faltaron en estas lista son de antología, clásicos, inmortales!! Back in black, Addicted to love, Major Tom, Talking in Your Sleep, Mr Roboto,Every Breath You Take, Reing in blood, I love rock n roll, The Final Countdown etc,etc.etc.etc.etc.etc....
Video stupendo come sempre! Non fermarti! Ancora!!!
Tutorial on how you set up the backing tracks? Great video as always!
hey what about 10 best blues riffs of..
Vvamik preach!!! Thank you! 🙌
Yesssss !
Master of puppet's downpicking:
YEAH
Never heard Panama with Flanger but damn does it sound good
As always, you deliver.
Have a listen to nervous shakedown AC/DC it definitely deserves to be on this list for the 1983!! 🤘
Panama and Crazy Train have got to be 2 of the greatest riffs ever written
gran trabajo!!!!!
It was hard to withstand Sweet Child Of Mine, but you managed it!
Is this a guitar heaven?!
Gggggrrrreeeeaaaattttt! Video man....that was my fav video of yours thus far....love the 80's rock and roll/metal era.....love every song ya played....and ya nailed em all! You're an excellent flawless player! How bout some Triumph bro? (When the lights go down, Lay it on the Line, Spellbound, Rock and Roll machine, World of fantasy, Follow your heart, Hold on Midsummers daydream, Fight the good fight, Magic power, etc etc.)
That was good :) thanks for that.
Loved this man! Killer playing on all the riffs, great tone, and damn good choices too!
Thanks mate!
this is so fucking amazing 🧡
Fantastic playing as usual. 😎
thank you!
Great man! PD: you look like Taylor York from Paramore xD
Fantastic !
I wish i could be a teen on the 80's, Id'd listen to rock without anybody thinking I'm crazy
So glad kickstart my heart was first
Great Video as always! (i have seen many people already pointing out that Appetite For Destruction came out in 87 and not 88 so there is no point for me comment it another time =D )
Your playing always looks so elegant and effortless, great technique man!
Yup I did an oopsie on that one! 😂 thanks mate!!
I love 80's!
I would've liked some Black Sabbath. Heaven and Hell or The Mob Rules, albums, with Dio and riff master Tony Iommi.
Good stuff
2000's could be:
Linkin Park - One Step Closer
Queens Of Stone Age - No One Knows
System of a Down - B.Y.O.B
At The Drive In - One-Armed Scissor
Tool - Lateralus
RHCP - Can't Stop
Green Day - American Idiot
The Strokes - Reptilia
Muse - Plug In Baby
Mastodon - Blood And Thunder
You are slaying bro!
That time for Money for nothing is pretty much spot on
im a simple woman
i hear Iron Maiden
i press like
Solo io ho notato la mezz'ora dedicata a "Panama"? Hahah, nuovo iscritto 🤘
Great vid man keep it up
Thank you for including Money For Nothing
Grande, bel video!
is it just me who gets confused every time the camera cuts to the close shot and you think there's a caption box on screen, but really it's just the light coloured drawer in the wardrobe behind lol
Didn't see it till I read this. Cant unsee ffs.
@@thewalrus7261 every video it catches me out hahaha
80s without the iconic ' Round and round" by Ratt is absurd.
Excellent!!!
Awesome playing, there's one guy I wanna give an honerable mention to, he played for OZZY, starting with 1984's BARK AT THE MOON,.. Jake E. Lee was fantastic, I saw him live and it was probably the very best performance I ever saw by a guitarist live. Please rip some of his solid for us sometime, Ty
Do a top ten guitar solos of each decade.
bro pleaseeee do a 90s edition
I was thinking before I even clicked on the video, “Master Of Puppets” better be 1986’s pick.
Bel video ma... Back in Black?
Lo pensavo anche io
Essendo uscita nel 1980 avrei dovuto togliere crazy train, secondo me a livello puro di riff (non canzone in generale) Crazy train è più bello 😁
@@DaniloVicari 👍
The trooper is the best!!
Ya me tiene hasta los putos huevos el riff de crazy train jaja
Gran canal danilo
I was gonna freak out if none of the big 4 was on here lol, great list
Didn't have my left earbud in for the crazy train riff so at the tail I just saw his fingers move but no sound and I was like.
Wtf!?!
Era ora che uscissi il custom! :P
😂
I feel like One Vision by Queen deserves a mention
Love Rush
Oh yeahhhh!!!!
Thats the guitar of my dreams
The gibson black beauty
NUMBER ONE IS NUMBER ONE .....R&R.....
The best decade for metal
WOW!!
Perfection 🥰
Thank GOD you don't palm mute Crazy Train. When people do that I wanna punch a wall
¡Saluti dal Messico, amico chitarrista!
Panama doesn't need a phaser, but it does sound cool with it
Do one for the 90’s
Great list! Would've been awesome if you put "Speak" by Queensryche for 1988, especially since "Welcome to the Jungle" actually came out in 1987! :-P
So many good riffs in the 80s that didnt come from hair bands but hair bands is what we get when anyone says 80s :(
Hair bands kicked ass. The hair was nice af
@@metalrebel7506 they all sounded the same. You had bands like King Crimson putting out incredible stuff in the 80s...the Smith's, violent femmes, talking heads, pixies in the late 80s, primus in the late 80s. Hair metal sucks
@@FunkadelicPancho Van Halen is good
@@VarsityAthlete04 van Halen came out in the 70s
@@FunkadelicPancho Im saying not all Hair bands suck
Up for 3 Rush's riffs!
Gran vídeo
I hope the 2000's video has a muse one in it :)
I would have added Hells Bells or Shoot to Thrill in there, both from the Back in Black album in 1980.
