Just a note: Fish hatcheries and farms are actually helping wildlife conservation efforts. They provide a food source without having to take it from the outside and wildlife populations, which we all know are being overfished and devastated right now. Also, there is more control in what is put in their food and diet. Some might say it's garbage or chemicals being fed to them, but good fish farms (keyword: good) actually control, measure and give them the proper nutrients and diet they need etc. In the video, it looks like they were measuring and adding it into the food pellets (not 100% sure, as I can't read the labels, but process is the same). If you're really a snob on how it tastes, then simply learn to cook it better or, just don't eat it. But, with the current climate of things, it's pretty safe eating farmed fish, bc unless you're in more remote areas, many common populated areas have been exposed to lead, oil and chemical exposure in the water which leak into the wildlife and fish, etc.

@@charlieduvall6463 No one is pretending. Hence I said good fish farms. Can't speak about all of them. I use to work at an aquarium and we worked with good fish farms and trying to help conserve wildlife and give knowledge about creating sustainable food sources. If people don't want to listen to that then whatever not my problem or business. I'm just trying to spread knowledge and awareness, bc the real pretending is people pretending we're not destroying the world currently and affecting our natural sources already.

Amazing how clean every one of the facilities are. They are top notch on every aspect of the process. I believe Korea is where I will go to see large production aquaculture. I currently run multi species small scale systems that are sustainable and feeds the aquaponics. Looking forward to upscaling my production.

Не стал бы я такую камбалу кушать..., как и ту икру "сибирского" осетра, также и форель с крашенным мясом выросшую на протеине. Ем супчик из дикой уточки и думаю: "Какая гадость эта ваша заливная рыба..."
Рыба настолько деградантная , что даже выпрыгнуть из воды не может! На одних стероидах и стимуляторах роста взращена! Вот это "молодцы" корейцы!

That is a lot of dab or flounder fish in that open tank I have not seen one in person until now I do know they hide in the sand under water 😃 I never tried one what taste better of it fried bbq I can not do raw fish that well use the left over of it to make bone crackers or medicinal herbal soup 😁👍❤

а я летом в перерывах между работами в ремонтной бригаде свой школьный кабинет оштукатуриваю и окрашиваю, если у завхоза находится мешок сухой смеси и ведро краски, а про механизацию и технологизацию на уроках на пальцах преподаю, и не достойный. Одному из моих учеников довелось в панамской школе поучиться, показывал фотографии школьных облезлых стен. Все и учителя, и дети тогда были в шоке. Двадцать лет развития, и мы к этому же пришли - школа не каждый год находит деньги на штукатурку и краску, а на ремонт кровли нужно стоять в очереди по многу лет. И что? Делать больше нечего, соседей завоёвывать взялись, всё ломать, чтобы потом восстанавливать.

Приходилось бывать на таких фермах,только палтус не золотой а обычный.Всю тяжёлую и кропотливую работу там делают трудовые мигранты ,тайцы ,малайцы или шри ланка в общем дешёвая раб сила.

Are these Flounder naturally orange or is that colouration from the pellets they're fed, just curious.
Think of them as albino flounders. The guy dedicated his 14 years paring these naturally occurring golden (but rare) flounders and managed to reproduce only golden flounders
