This was one of the first comics I ever read, and my first Superman comic. My college roommate handed it to me when I told him Superman was lame, and it immediately became one of my favorite comics.
It's my favorite Superman comic of all time, and I've been waiting for this Absolute for YEARS! I've been recommending this story nonstop to people who don't like Supes because they think he's too boring and too powerful. Great job on your review!

This makes sense for the 2025 Superman movie.
In “All Star Superman” you see action and the heart of Superman; also, Lex is the main villain and has made an alliance with Solaris. Knowing this fact, the sphere in the first look photo is Solaris The Tyrant Sun.
In “Superman All Season” it focus’s on Clark becoming and embracing he is Superman.
⭐️ The 2025 Movie, “Superman” has the foundation to be an epic Superman movie.

The color is ten times more vibrant than the deluxe edition.
One of the very greatest superman stories of all time, I put it up there with ‘Superman: Kryptonite’ by Cook and Sale.

Wonderful story - it most definitely deserves the absolute treatment. I hope John Byrne's Man of steel vol. 1 (when he was inked by Dick Giordano) gets the same treatment one day

Looking forward to Absolute Superman by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank, it comes out next year and it collects some of the best Superman stories ever in my opinion.

Does it mention anything in the back about Sam's Story being a tribute to Jeph Loeb's son, who died of bone cancer?
Never read it, and never will at this point. But the art looks really good, hopefully some people will love this.
