i watched many builds before i bought this case, and bro, you just did a piss poor job on constructing this- there are so many options to use the extra space as fan mounts, diy storage mounts, double gpus and so forth- i think this case is a great case, and one that is FULLY customizable
Well, a lot can be said for this review and I'll try to be succinct. First, thanks for the plain honest truth, much appreciated. Second, beauty is in the eye of the beholder as it is for all things. Third, I'm certain Cougar designed this case for those seeking unusual aesthetics over convenience (form over function) and intentionally sacrificed some of the latter to accomplish the former. If I purchase this case it will be for the same purpose. Fourth, despite your specific reservations about unnecessary obscuration of the internals by the opaque case paneling, the project turned out remarkably well. However, I agree it looks better with more transparency _for this build_ since you opted to forego internal lighting. With increased case opacity, whether through darkly tinted acrylic/glass or metal/plastic side paneling, more emphasis to internal lighting greatly enhances the build. It makes the viewer more curious to see what lies behind the paneling and heightens interest, JMHO. What could have been done with this project is remove all or most of the side panels and replace them with a single piece of acrylic. When you presented the case with it completely open on the side, the build looked glorious and wondered why not have it that way permanently with a clear cover instead? The way I see it, a builder using this case has the choice of either using all the panels and spec _lots_ of internal lighting, or dispense with the panels completely for a more muted arrangement as in this build.
I don’t mind it having two viewing windows instead of a “who can have the biggest tempered glass side panel” arms race, it looks cool and unique so I like it 🤷🏼♂️
Sticking the original conquer inside cracked me up! 😆 Love the review & build, especially how honest it was & no bs. I also like that you explain your mods, it helps us noobs to learn & get some ideas.
I'm sure you remember me from all the moding groups on Facebook. I have been so busy programming and just finished a long project I was on. I was going to buy this case and do a build but after watching this I don't think I will do one in this case.
Do you recommend to buy this PC case? Looking to your review i see that is not comfortable to install all PC components into this case, then if i want to change RAM or add RAMs, or change video card, or add HDD and SSDs (M.2 or SATA) etc, then it is very hard to uninstall this case and add some component or change something, by the way every 6-7 months i have to change thermal paste if i install i9-13900K processor or something else, it is really hard and not comfortable to change some detail or components from this PC. Please give me some positive advice or info about this case, if it is exist. Negative things is seen, it gets many DUST, noisy, hard to install into this case (i must remove or uninstall 10-14-20 bolts, and external shields or protective external metal).
If you can change the side panels to clear acrylic then you should be able to just remove the side divider (orange thing) and slap on a custom acrylic, full view, side panel
what i did formy pc is painted the black parts of the case white and the orange parts light blue and it looks great i personally love this case but they could make it better by have more color choices
i should have un subscribed the moment you couldnt see it eye to eye with me that how beautiful this case really is. this is the case of my dreams. but ill let it slip for now.
Hello, sir! Idk if you will see this but I was really curious about how you modded the Logo in the front. You mentioned you put a sticker over it and sanded it down ? Is the Orange still there you just covered it up? Also I was curious where/how you got the sticker itself! Any info is greatly appreciated as I am very interested in this case :)
i like how it looks with its glass panels and stupid orange thing taken off, if it had some crazy single curved and shaped glass as the panel i think it would look good
@@toonvanrusselt8304 He re-use many of them or he build pc for special customers and brands and so they pay for the parts, I'm pretty sure he explained it in an other video
Fast and furious body kits? really? You couldn't have said RC controlled cars? More accurately, no? -This case is gorgeous and the ability to take it out and build it outside is super smart.
I love how the unmodded case looks and I also love what you did with it. Considering the price, it's disappointing to learn how much plastic they used. I think I'd rather spend half as much on the case and put that money into hardware like the GPU or CPU or even system board. Or maybe I'll splurge after all and look into the Antec Torque.
Thanks for the review, I was thinking about this case to build a MONSTER editing/gaming pc but I think I might go with the gemini x case for 2 pc build smaller one for edits and big one for gaming
Really for you, it is a real garbage and it is very valid. The funny thing is having taken 23 minutes to explain that something is useless, 3 minutes would have been enough. (plastic is plastic, orange black or white, is still plastic)
Hey, hi, sorry to ask of this here, can u please do a build in Lian Li PC-O11D (not XL), with only SOFT tubing & make it gorgeous in your style Problem here is not paranoia about Rigid Tubing, but, the thing is want to build a Custom WaterCooLed PC for nephew, so Soft Tubing would give me ease in maintenance duty Extra Fittings = okay Please reply, I will be waiting 🙏🙏🙏😁😁
Looks like the ultimate case when building for a 10 year old boy. Slap big Marvel & Transformers stickers on it and make the insides glow with cool RGB lights. The specs don't even need to be high end, the kid will be blown away by the looks of the PC alone for years. And it'll be easy to upgrade over the years with the sliding inner case. This 200€ extra cost for the looks would be totally justified in such a case. For a serious gamer, go for something 200€ cheaper and better at the same time. Not hard to find such cases.
Wow, this review is so bad (for conquer), that I was about to close the video at the 10minute mark. There's only so much abuse someone can watch lol. But you got me with the LCD screen!
Damn, thanks for the video. I really wanted this and create this robo police theme with Red and Blue RGB lights but these issues are just too much of a deal breaker, really heart broken :/
I like the case. Not concerned about what it’s made of, only that the orange piece will leave finger prints. Good to know. AMAZED at how unimpressed your are at it’s looks and working features and neatness. I can only imagine your s*X partner being extremely bored. Anything off the normal and you don’t like it. Such bland taste you have.
Such petty complaints. If you have real carbon fiber you would pay well over 1 k for the case, also having some plastics parts help keep the weigh low. Seriously you made some dumb critical arguments. The case internally is mainly crammed on the rear area of the mother board for cable management. The Fan behind the glass is my favorite feature, and if you dont like it, some people have put digital displays in them. Personally this unit is far more attractive to the Conquer 1. Conquer 1 already exist, Conquer 2 doesnt have to followed everything than unit 1 did, is a new design and hence it should be review for what it is not why is not doing what unit 1 did. Just dumb though process
Yes. If the whole case were metal and did not use plastic pieces, it would weigh 100+ lbs, and if they used lighter metals, such as aluminum or carbon fiber, it would cost way too much money. Plastic is a compromise, so complaining about the presence of plastic in a case as big as this is stupid.
350 us??? no no no no the antec torque is mutch better in the material's and the looks and every thing and the same price personally i don't an't to pay 350 dollars for piece of plastic

I agree with you buddy. This video is dumb
I agree too
Looks like they made a case from a wrecked sports bike. Or Optimus Primes shoulder.
RYTHMIC RIOT maybe both?
Probably the cleanest build I've ever seen. Well done. And I like the looks of the case! Lol

Hello, what riser cable did you use?? Thanks. Hope to hear back soon. You didn't mention.

Coolest Full Tower Case Ever
Hope the 3rd iteration will fix all these issues
