Don't bet against season 2, haha! I can definitely confirm that the peak of my fandom was watching season 2 on repeat while hyped for season 3's incoming. It was a special time. The waits between seasons were too long after that and it became easier for people to disengage instead of keep the hype level up.
The Season 2 syndrome might just be due to people not having a great memory of any episode but when you see an episode you can remember liking FOR A LONG TIME, like from Season 2, your brain is more likely to twig to it. I recently rewatched the whole show introducing it to a friend, and a lot of the "less memorable" eps later on were just as, if not more good than the classics. It's just a matter of not having rewatched them nearly as much.
Mu gut is that most people haven't seen the What color is my clean suit or the halloween episode. i didnt see either until i bought the whole series. great episodes in my opinion
Seriously Lepidopterists beat Orb? Weird, aside from the stuff with the henches I found that episode weirdly dull, tho I did only watch it once, it's probably one of my least favorites as a whole I definitely prefer State Dinner to Zeus, like sure the "Old lady falls for Brock" thing is meh, but I love Lincoln having to put up with the boys and only being able to interact with stuff with his face on it, that's just really funny to me. Zeus had a lot of potential and they kinda blew it, I don't hate it, but there was too much going on and it kinda went nowhere Faking Miracles (and S6 as a whole) was robbed, that S1 episode was good because of Orpheus, but it was an early episode and it shows...
Also if I had to pinpoint a real reason season 3 episodes are as memorable and keeping up with season 2 on the scoreboard, I'm gonna say it's because 3 was the first Tshirt season. Those shirts made the love per episode stronger every week.
5:51 - this was the biggest surprise in round 1 for me. Maybe it's just because Love Bheits is one of my least favorite episodes overall... but man, I guess people just aren't down with season 6.

No, the first appearance of The Pirate Captain is one of the best episodes ever. These people lost their damn minds.

Agreed! Just about any time people have a conversation about the worst episode ever, Love Bheits at least gets mentioned.
