I got the Yellow T7 a Couple months back. Just a FYI Vitilan Just announced a T7 PRO with a 1000w 1600w Peak motor and A 30amp Controller and a Bigger 52v / 20ah Battery. The pro advertises a 35mph top speed. So I’d wait To get the PRO . I’m kinda upset I got the Base T7 now. It is a decent bike and a head turner, can’t tell you how many People said “That’s a Beautiful Bike” or asked me where I Got It. The Main Complaint about the T7 Is the Lack of Power on Take Off. it’s almost Comical how slow from a Start this bike Is. Once it gets going it’s Fast and doing 28-30mph on a Sidewalk is a Bit of a Scary thing. Make sure you Check the Torque on all the Bolts ! I had the Kickstand Fall Off as both Bolts Backed out and they fell out somewhere. This is My Second Ebike I’ve owned and I have about 300miles on It so far . I wish Vitilan would throw in the Rear Rack as it’s $100 after the fact . This is a HEAVY BIKE if you live upstairs like me Hope You have a strong Back it’s a struggle to Carry Up and Down My Narrow Stairs to my Apt
How heavy is this bike? I saw one review state that it is 83lbs but on Vitilans site they state 103. One of the reasons I chose another bike is because of the weight and now I find out that the web site is probably wrong anyway... sigh
I did 300 km on my T7, awesome choice, i'm fully satisfied and happy. I live in Switzerland and i am happy about the torque with some help from the driver. Bafang works well, and after 80km with some help i still had 50% of charge.
@@DudeStuff No they’re releasing a new Pro version of this T7 i would love a review therre isnt one on yt yet. thinking of getting this or the pro when they back in stock
Can you do a video on your experience of different style frames and how they ride with high powered e-bike kits? I come from dirt bikes and looking to go more stealth. Sorta a fat bike vs MTB vs trial bike? Appreciated your content has really helped in my initially journey
Just for the record, these Bafang G062 hubs, decent controller and 52v 17.5ah battery will cost about as much as the whole bike to buy separately. It's a bargain, basically they're throwing in the frame, seat, brakes, triple crown fork, rear shock and rims and tires for free.
great videos keep up the good work. Ok so real question. Because I live in Tenerife I'm more interested in being able to climb hills. Are the high power motors able to deliver you up a 20% hill without completely burning out? There's a 5km hill near me that ranges from 7%-21% in gradient, would an unmodified vitalin be able to cope dragging a 100kg cyclist? Thanks in advance
I Got a 750 w hub motor Live In the Mountains In Australia , I was Worried about the same thing Heaps of long steep hills , Only Just got it Last week , And No Worries getting up any of them Im not even Puffing and I Can"t walk up them any more with out Stopping and sucking In Deep Breaths LOL Hope that Helps
it's still slow taking off, must be some power saving thing they stuck on the controller because accelerating fast uses a lot of energy. the new one does 36mph before it cuts the power so definitely faster.
Should have tried their foldable 52 V powerful front and rear light with integrated indicators, and about 85nm, you can check it out on electric bike space channel
Just got a bike it’s a trek really fast but 1000w battery runs out way to quick have u got any tips just wanted something to have fun on in the summer but runs out of battery too quick
I think this is a bit better looking but not quite as good quality and doesn't have torque sensing pedal assist but that's reflective in the huge price difference
bafang hub that's the only best spec, the rest is bottom line cheap stuff, altus mech, tetko brakes, dnm rear shock mozo!!! forks etc, is their way of possibly fooling people into thinking that they use battery cells by "Samsung" and not the "SAM-SUNG" batteries they actually do use.
I have this bike , the suspension really Sucks! Front AND Back. That's why most reviewers only show "off roading " merely on a grass field. Very disappointed with this bike and with Vitilan support
@@DudeStuff It's people hard earned that comes into play, you could for example buy a new boardman mtr 8.6 and buy a complete 750w bafang mid mount ebike kit with battery for £600 and the bike is both a super light and well specced machine.
Pretty sure the current ebike laws in UK state 250W motor regardless of the speed setting. Things are hopefully about to change to 500W but even then the Vitilans 750W and 1000W version would STILL be illegal to ride in the UK sadly. This is another reason I chose not to buy one. That and the weight, low torque, fat tyres etc.
Nice bike Steve, All the Karen's here will be excited to hear the cops have a ghost busters style EMP gun in the works to target ebikes / electronics. The big brother over reach continues 😂
I wouldn't even worry about this stupid news story, police are understaffed, they're not going to be standing on every corner zapping bikes lol and the news article said only used when people are using ebikes to escape crimes, we're not gonna get tazered popping down the local shops lol
Hi Steve. If you read this i have a couple of quick questions as i am relatively new to ebikes but am reluctant to buy from your average store and would rather buy direct from someone like yourself. Firstly do you sell your own builds to the public? If so Im 6 ft 1 in height approx 12 stone. I do quite a bit of cycling and i have a weehoo bike trailor for my 5 year old for a couple of years which she really loves to be in but unfortunately she wont use the pedals on it. She is autistic and has no speech so it is hard to reason with her😅 This leaves me pulling the whole load obviously and i would really love an easier time of it so we could be out more since like i said she really loves it. Im willing to spend lets say 2500 and would love to get as much as i can from someone like yourself for that. Full suspension please and fat tyres since we cycle off road quite a bit too and i would love some comfort as i only have an old racer at the moment which Ive had for about 15 years. . As much speed and range as possible too for when i do go out on my own as i need to keep as fit as i can. I know this may be asking a lot but maybe you could let me know what i could get for that please. Perhaps i could go a little higher if i had to. One thing though and i hope this isn't too much of a problem, i live in Ireland in co Cavan so there will be transport costs too i know. Appreciate any help or pointers you can give me. Regards, Paul Flanagan.
Big smiles riding any bike in the sun especially these they're great
This is the one I am tempted to buy mate looks really nice..Really like the yellow but stands out I am more of a safe black colour 😊

Bafang hub isn't really a specification worthy of claiming as being a quality part.
What brand would you like to see on a ebike in this price range?
Bafang make great hubs. Trust me it's a good thing. Very reliable and all parts available.

Hi, can this be set to uk legal 15.5 mph
Hello,yes, it can be done.
our ebike can set the maximum gear percentage, our maximum speed is 28mph, and the fifth gear percentage can be set to 55%
