- Day one on Toledo Bend for the Major League Fishing Stage 1 event. I have a really good practice but so much about this lake is changing you just never know what is happening until you get there. We are back to all fish count so expect me to catch everything with a tail and run up scoretracker.

Met Dustin at the gas station by the Shoneys Inn in his hometown while I was there for work, he had a 12 pack headed to the lake. Seemed like a cool cat I’m glad he’s kicking ass already this year he’s about as good a bass fisherman as you can get!

When I saw all the guys fishing around where my camp is I would've swore they were lost as can be... I've fished Toledo ever since I was a kid and never gave this kind of fishing an honest chance because I never really caught a bunch of fish doing this or big fish doing this and thought it was really inconsistent. But I went and tried it myself today in some other areas and caught so many fish I almost didn't come back home for work tomorrow. Congrats again on the win man!!!

I've been fishing all My life and Sam Rayburn is definitely the best lake I've ever fished you just never know what is going to be on the next hook up I can remember the first time that I fished it out of my 14 foot Jon Boat I was fishing Zoom super fluke's it was about 35 years ago I would guess I caught about 40 Bass in the first half day and the rest is history and it is definitely a massive fishery it's really paradise for anyone who loves to Bass fish it's really a nice place and the people who live around the lake are fantastic and I would be there in the morning 🌅 but I can't but I do think I'm going to see it soon and y'all feel better leave us older folks a pair to catch LOL good luck guys and enjoy the weekend 😊
