HEY! So I have the tape echo and I absolutely love it so much but I’m having trouble getting it to work with my Morningstar midi switcher. All I want to do is engage the pedal with my midi foot switcher is this possible with Morningstar mc6 mkii? Thank you 🙏🏼
Hey PG, where did you get the info about the content of the firmware update? There is a new firmware update on the NUX website (V2) but I can't find documentation anywhere. Also what was the version of the the firmware update in your video?
Hi can you do a video on how you check for updates and how you go about downloading and installing. I’ve looked on the net and can’t find anything. Thank you.
Hello Pedal Guy! Thanks a lot for all of your great videos which I am really enjoying. Here’s a question: are you by any chance going to do a video on the new NUX-MG 400? I have the MG-300 and I am wondering whether to upgrade to the MG-400. Also, are the sounds exactly the same, or is there a substantial difference? Thanks so much! PS: If you could also compare the MG-400 to the MG-30, that would be awesome!
Thanks. Yes, there are planned vids for the MG-400 when it's released, which is looking like the next 30-60 days. And of course, I'll do comp vids as well. It will sound different from the MG-300, as the 400 has a dual CPU akin to the MG-30. It's not a replacement for the MG-30, but I'll be sure to talk about that when I get my hands on a unit.
This seems like a really nice emulation for some genuine analog “Space Echo” delays. Are there any other pedals you think are doing a decent job of offering this effect? 😎👍👍
I like the NUX but I definitely preferred the tone of the new Boss offerings when I tested in a shop yesterday. I was also impressed with the fender space echo pedal as a basic option. It's killer.
Great video. Do you know if you can change the tape head subdivision? Like you can do with the tape core deluxe.
Great playing. There are demos out, there you can tell, that the guys have no relation to playing with a delay at all.
Thanks!
just got this pedal and came across your review.. do you know if the midi out works as a midi through? thx :)

Hey! Thanks for the video! I was wondering if the MIDI sync works for the loop mode, or "SOS"?
Probably not
@@ThePedalGuy Okay thanks!
Interesting pedal. It's still available but are the updates? Also does it have trails (or tails)?
Hasn’t been an update in a while. Will need to look into the trails question

Maybe I haven’t read enough on this, but does this unit take MIDI PC commands? Does it store presets?

Oh sweet, midi is received via usb in addition to the 3.5mm jacks?
Yes
@@ThePedalGuy awesome! Thanks for the verification.

It is. At this price, it's pretty hard to beat.

So delay into reverb is the default mode?
Yes
Crap. I'm going to have to get one
LOL. Go for it
