Bro the best nearby cave for my recent playthrough was in the jungle and the other one you had to pass through a crimson. Should've done the crimson one in the early game. Made the same mistake in hardmode

This remind me in 1.3.5 where the jungle is litterally in the left side of spawn when i started ranger class
I liked how jungles looked so I made one outside my base. Instant regret as I was forced to make a cloud city esque base

The Jungle just becomes da hood when you get into hardmode. UZI and all!
I suggest getting the spider mask, a bewitching table and the spider staff to have a way to stunlock most hardmode jungle enemies using 3 spider minions. Makes exploring and farming for the UZI alot more barrable.

I remember my first time in hardmode…
I was obsessed with building lampposts and climbing structures along the world to make travel “easier” and going through the corruption and jungle were H E L L
It’s become a tradition at this point with me and my friends to still make the lamps, but at least now when I set up I make sure I do it pre-hardmode instead of waiting until the last minute to finish the project

one day i was on a public server that had just been opened, all the players decided to live in that biome alone or in pairs, i decided to live in the jungle and many called me crazy. To stand out on the server, I went to my neighbor who lived in the snow and only stole half of his biome, I dug every possible block in the biome, went to my jungle and replaced half of it with snow and built a house between the 2 biomes with a lake underneath it, The house was half ice blocks and half jungle blocks, the lake below the house was green and blue at the same time, under my house I received visits from thousands of enemies.
Preferred home biome and what it says about you
Forest - you’re bland or like it peaceful
Desert - Coarse, Rough & irritating
Snowfield - Blue & Moody
Jungle - you’re a Masochist
I prefer snow or mushroom.
Underworld - you're playing getfixedboi

I usually just stay in the middle of the map unless I'm in a big multiplayer server where I'll just make a surface glowing shroom biome next to the ocean without a pylon by block replacing a huge chunk of dirt, that way I'm far away from the center and it's unlikely that my house gets griefed

I don't know why this is the only experience that didn't apply to me. The moment I entered Hardmode jungle, I had the most fun murdering the wildlife population.
And that is only above ground you haven’t seen anything yet
I have a core memory when I was playing in 1.2 when the hardmode jungle mobs were added and a turtle slapped me for 400+ damage and one tapped me.

nothing quite compares to stumbling upon a glitched dungeon guardian though XD (sometimes when you just come near the dungeon, it'll spawn, and of course, there's also the chance of just bypassing the cursed man and going into the dungeon directly XD)

bro it never made sense to me that the jungle has way more stronger enemies then any other place of land in terrarria.
something i'm surprised the devs never thought of: a volcano biome. Sure there's the underworld, but can you imagine the chaos of having lava and strong enemies on the surface?

strangely, I don't think i've ever seen this enemy. I've seen its drops, but it just seems to evaporate XD
I once had Lui afk on and ultimate battler buff AAAA on but I didn’t know and I set my bed at the jungle so I was STUCK inside my house with 600 turtles knocking on the door 1k bats and over 9000 derplings

for those who dont know, this is exactly how ours characters use potions, they dont drink it, they smash it into their heads, this way the liquid enters on the blood flow more easy, without need to digest it, saddly the bottle is not reusable

I hate tortoises and this is the reason why. I basically had a seizure of rage because i died to the giant tortoise 4 times in a row leading to me becoming poor
I was surprisingly fine, just because I got a breaker blade for 130 damage a hit
