The best investment one can do right now is investing on real estate though stocks are good but ever since I swapped to real estate, I've seen so much difference.
I’m going into year 2 as an agent and this business is tough! I started with $80k in savings, moved, ditched my full time job and dived head first into real estate in a new state. 1.5 years in, my savings were depleted and I was exhausted. I had a few transactions but not what I was used to with my previous jobs. Luckily I landed a non-demanding remote position with good pay and benefits! So now I do my remote job, which doesn’t take up a lot of my time, and real estate, both full time. I feel better, less stressed, my bills are paid on time, there is food on the table, I can get my teeth cleaned lol, etc. My advice to anyone just starting out, don’t quit your day job until you are consistently closing transactions!!!
I been a part time agent for a year now. I knew that it was going to take time before I started making money. And I also knew that there were a lot of fees to be paid. I do desire to do real estate full time real soon
I’m a full time realtor with a full time job .. how ? Well luckily for me my full time job is a at home cellphone type of job that I could be doing wherever I am processing information in a data base either on my cell phone or on a laptop, which allows me to simultaneously focus on real estate actually at the exact same time
I just got my license in July (the 31st to be exact). This year I just want match my job salary. I don't plan to quit my job anytime soon. I want to learn to balance the 2 as well.
I've been struggling trying to do it PT because I have a FT day job, so once licensed, I barely had the time to even LEARN the things I needed to do, let alone do it. It seems like PT is more realistic for someone who is experienced and now wants to cut back on their activities, rather than someone new to the industry.
My mom’s friend who is an experienced realtor and is an older woman has started back as a part time realtor while working a full time job. I am thinking about trying it part time. So, that is what I am also curious about. How would that be for me if I want to do part time as an entry level. I plan on speaking with her this weekend to get her advice.
I am a new part time agent. What is the best way to get prospect buyers and sellers? I have ordered business cards and post cards and plan to go door to door in a designated neighborhood and inserted them in the crack of their front door (WANT TO BUY OR SELL Postcard). What is your opinion?
That’s a lot of effort. I would get licensed if you truly want to be in the business because if you aren’t familiar with contracts you may actually be a Detriment to yourself. What city are you in? I may be able to connect you with a fabulous agent that can explain the process and negotiate reduce closing costs on your behalf.

Great advice!
Part time and BRAND NEW.
how is it going? are you able to make any transactions?
Would it be worth it to get licensed to use the commission to lower my closing costs?
