I made this one a while ago... I decided to take some of my backup transcriptions, blow a bit of dust from them and post them. I never posted this one because there was another 'When You Wish Upon A Star' already posted. That's a lot of work that was sleeping so I decided to post it anyway.
Btw, these rubato piece are really testing my patience, I'm doing my best to make it look like a 'music sheet' but that's a big challenge to try to find some kind of structure into them. What I do is trying to respect how the melody and harmony is divided in the 'standard' tune. than trying to write rhythm that represent what is played mathematically... while avoiding complicated and unusual rhythmic figures.... man let me tell you, this is a recipe for madness... lol....!

I'm making transcriptions for personal use, so I know what you mean. Don't worry. When transcribing jazz, it often happens that it is very hard to know what was in the head of the performer(s). Harmonic ambiguity. Rhythmic patterns and ornaments impossible to write down, etc. ... . When the artist also has courses, it helps if you studied his approach. The most important thing is to have the original music sheet of the composer. Starting from that you can make your own version, inspired by what others did. After all: jazz is self expression, not exact replication.

Francois thanks for sharing this. No problem to post more than one version of a particular song. In fact, it's very helpful to see how different players do the same song. Your solution for rubato performances makes perfect sense. The rhythm of music notation is never performed perfectly, except by computers. A transcription of a human performance is always an approximation of the rhythm. Learners must always listen to the actual audio recording. The transcription is a GUIDE. Yours look great!
