The Sullivan floss really is vibrant on your Hummingbird Garden piece. It’s beautiful! I used a chart from Annie’s and converted to Dmc and started on the top middle. Really am enjoying it. Herschel ate the plum. Happy stitching!
The sweet flower basket reminds me of the May Day baskets I used to make as a child and leave of friend’s doors. Simon is so sweet and such a handsome little man. I’m sitting here, stitching and enjoying your latest video. I must admit that, even though my favorite time of year to stitch is in winter here in Upstate New York, our weather this year has been very mild - it looks like the winter WIPs I’m working on will be replaced by more spring - like designs. What a wonderful birthday box you received from Australia. I wish you a fabulous birthday!The projects you’re working on are all so beautiful.
Our weather has been fairly mild as well, and as a fellow winter lover, I feel ripped off! Now we have to wait 3 more seasons until our favorite comes around again. I do appreciate the vibrant colors of spring though (just not the allergies!).
@@czookstitch488 Luckily I don’t have allergies, but spring bring with it gardening, which at my age is no longer enjoyable - I’d rather be sitting indoors in the winter, sipping a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate, watching the snow fall, and stitching!

Perfect piece in front of the basket as well. I am really going to miss Winter Montage, although I love watching all your montage pieces come to life. I love the progress you made on e pluribus unam. That star field is very dense stitching. I started Hummingbird Garden but am quite unhappy with it, think it is the fabric. I am using a 32 count pale yellow Jobelan which seems really heavy and the holes seem tight. I will try stitching 1 more day before I decide to possibly restart it on different fabric. I really like the color of the fabric and am not sure if I have another piece of similar yellow. The advantage of the Jobelan is it is heavy enough that you cannot see even the darkest green thread being carried. I have been so very exhausted from this infection that I have been spending a ton of time sleeping when I can since the cough has been keeping me up. I hope the antibiotic kicks in soon. I had the weekend off from Walter since Kristal is working early voting and I will have him from Monday afternoon until Wednesday evening. I was so exhausted that I missed a stitching Zoom that I was so excited about being able to join since I wouldn't have Walter. What beautiful and thoughtful gifts from both Sarah and Lynette. You know how much I love birds and can never have too many bird patterns. The Herschel and Lucy pieces are so cute. Thank you for sharing Simon with us to make the day even more special. We have two dogs and Lewis and I call their hair glitter on my projects. I am praying your blood work comes back ok and no matter what you aren’t lazy. I have a hilarious story about a plum: I recently moved to a house with a garden, and in my garden was a pear tree. There was a tag at the tree with a photo of a peartree. Lovely blossom in the spring and I saw fruit growing. But, the fruit became purple, and I don't know about purple pears. And then I realised, that are plums! How funny! In my garden are also many birds. I enjoy my garden so much.
