But also this video creator sometimes goes too hard on a track where people are just setting records for themselves, he’s a bit of a try hard when there’s no need to be and with other people’s car. Why cannot you disconnect the warning in every hard brake on the yaris? A sport car that turn on the warnings every corner.....and almost all new sport cars do the same.
The left foot braking is amazing
It's done on a front wheel drive car to slightly driff it when used with throttle, takes lots of practice!
Every time I drive automatic I use left foot for braking
@@basukisugito8929 Makes sense when you don't have to worry about the clutch with your left foot, in manual cars people normally press the clutch with their left foot and press the brake with their right foot when slowing down to a stop, other wise the car would stall, unless one went to the bother of shifting the gear shift to neutral.
@@gerrywhelan5761 Good driver know how to change foot while braking. You need to if you want left foot brake safely.
@@06silverhaze Yep, left foot braking and also using the throttle with the other foot enables one to micro manage the drift of the car accurately, like make it dance to your desired attitude as the road conditions/ corners demand.

That guy is brake checking like your average, and I mean average, commuter driver does before entering turns. It's almost useless, and just unsettling the car.
Im sure these little animal GR have nearly same torque has the m3 and also comes earlier in the revs.. 1.6 3 cylinder 260 hp and same torque is phenomenal
Peak Torque is irrelevant. A Diesel van has more torque than both.
M3 is a naturally aspirated engine revving to 8k, of course the turbocharged Yaris has similar peak torque.

You can balance the weight of the car to the front wheels while cornering.
I do it all the time. Its just practice.

"Too much braking" well if you don't know the circuit like the back of your hand that is understandable, takes a long time to know that circuit in order to be able to push hard everywhere, as fatalitys are far from unknown on it!
I dont like saying it cus it makes me sound fat phobic but people that size will not be saved by standard seatbelts because they dont fit. Theyre supposed to be from the shoulder down to the waist not neck to armpit. At best if they crash that dude will have a broken neck and probably a dislocated left shoulder

Nothing like blocking. Eventually you gotta give it up. I did it once in dirt oval because the seller did me dirty and changed gear when I bought it. So when the track was one lane I stayed on the bottom to finish top 3.

@@JoeyDurant Yes, with a similar driver, on faster pieces of road, and certainly in a straight line. However, the M3 is a road car, and heavy despite the alu and carbon bits, the GR is a rally car dialled back a notch for road use. You can see the inputs required to keep the GR on course even while having to brake late for the BMW in front, and how early he is on the power.
It doesn't help that the BMW is not being driven very well here but you car see the way the car is moving as a result, and the weight.
