KK Lei yeah, sadly I can't fix it without pulling the whole thing down. the last shot also looks too blue. I'll spend more time in post on the next video.
this Valkyrie is so gorgeous and unique that it convinced me to finally check out the Macross franchise (starting from Delta) just to know the lore behind it, before eventually buying it. Now I've seen every single TV series, OVA, and movie there is and I'm actively pumping my wallet dry for Arcadia-Yamato-DX chogokin 1/60 valks. no regrets.
I received my Draken this week, while the transformation to battroid mode was a bit of a pain in the ass, once it's transformed, it's a surprisingly solid figure. I was expecting it to be more rickety in this mode, but it keeps its pose and has no problem standing on its own. The gerwalk mode is a bit disappointing, but IMO that has more to do with the fact the thing is mostly legs and arms with very little to make up the rest of the VF's body.
great review!!! what would you say is the top someone should pay on this side of the planet for one of this, considering its strenghts and weak points???
jaydee.85 i think retail (22,000) is pretty fair. you might see retailers try to move them quick and price at 20,000. exchange rate varies but right now that's like $180 before shipping
@@OghuzKhaghan it is, but i heard that in Japan, Japanese people on Forum stated that Delta is just a Idol master Ripoff. Wich they ain't wrong, and i absolutely agreed with them.
Thanks a lot for the review. You're doing a great work. Can't thank you enough. (Especially the bit where you say *not* to watch Delta (lol)) Also, is it plausible that Bandai would make some superparts later on?
Transformation is definitely not easy. I do have a transformation guide back to fighter, check it out! If/when you figure out what was causing the issue, please leave a comment so maybe others who encounter the same issue can be helped. I'm currently working on my Lil Draken review so I'll be doing that transformation myself very soon.
It was the spine, so to say... the arms in fighter mode were causing the joints at ankles to not combine all the way. the armor on the forearm were getting in the way ahahaha.
Very carefully. Shoji Kawamori is quite the genius mecha designer when it comes to transforming mechs, hell he was one of the people that made the original Transformers toys possible, particularly the original Optimus Prime. He also designed the Aquarion super robots, which have 3 parts that can combine into 3 different humanoid forms ala Getter Robo without using magic shapeshifting. And of course, Bandai has their experience with all sorts of toys going forward that they put into their variable fighters.
The designs for Macross just get more convoluted and weird. The colors are nice though. Kind of looks like a knight bug? Or an off brand transformer haha.
I haven't done any transformers in a while because so many other people do pretty good reviews of Transformers toys. I know Jetfire straddles the Macross line though so I'll definitely consider it.
I finally got my Draken III today. The missile pods are bit of a pain in the ass to get pegged / clipped in, and the lildrakens can fall out of the hardpoint mounts pretty easily give their weight. There are a couple reenforcement parts for the wings that are apparently supposed to help but I haven't used them yet. Also, and this is pretty obvious from the product photos, the color of the lildrakens is a lighter blue-green, and while they're not the same color as Keith's Draken III in the show, they're not this bright of a color.
22 "thousands"
d'oh!
you said 22 hundreds at 00:18

May you live a healthy life, ty for funding the upcoming anime 🙏
My Draken showed up in the post today, and of course I've got things to do after work! The exact same thing happened the day I got my VF-31!

I want cannon fodder scheme for this and the 31. Nice review.
the 31 already has a "cannon fodder" scheme, the VF-31A. i do agree that we need a DX general use Draken III though.

All i need is that and the original Saab J35 Draken on the same scale as well
7:11 best advice you can give to anyone. For real. I am a Macross Follower since 2007 and Delta was a disaster.
Delta, kinda like Frontier, has a lot more focus on the idol aspect of Macross, and that's due to the target audience preferring idols over mecha.
New Generations liked it. It has 22 exclusive songs for only 26 episodes. J-pop so popular in Japan.
@@OghuzKhaghan it is, but i heard that in Japan, Japanese people on Forum stated that Delta is just a Idol master Ripoff. Wich they ain't wrong, and i absolutely agreed with them.
Thanks for the review and transformation manual :)
The battroid mode kinda reminds me of Anubis from Zone of the Enders.
I like clear canopy more and on my VF-27 i'm using clear one only

Also, is it plausible that Bandai would make some superparts later on?
Not just plausible, already announced. Mini Draken set with non-transformable shield and sword.
Oh, so that's why even the Japanese reviewers haven't mentioned the sword.
Thanks for the news, man.
I cannot for the life of me, get the leg parts perfectly aligned in fighter mode after transforming it once

How do they design the transformation method???
Praying to the Birdman

Anyone ever figure out the gerwalk stand adaptor not fitting? I just got one and gerwalk is my fav mode so this is kind of a bummer. thanks
No sword?

Please review TakaraTomy Transformers Legend Leader Class Jetfire

I agree with u man, macross delta is sucks... i can't watch it till the end. But the mecha are really good!!
Apparently the Lil Draken + weapons pods are available now.
Marc Mantione I'm waiting on mine to ship. Hope to review them soon.
Yup. Me too. Found a great price on the Draken III and added the weapon pack while I was at it.
ScorchedEarthToys I just received the LilDraken weapons pack but I haven't received the actual Draken III yet. The lildrakens are pretty cool
I'm in the opposite boat... my accessory set seems to be taking a very long and circuitous path to me. Such is the joy of importing toys.

And, how much was this???
22,000¥ i mistakenly say "2,200¥"
Sv-262ba??!
22 hundred yen? Only ~21 dollars?
KK beat you to it a year ago but RUclips doesn't do much to allow corrections.
Even thou, the Show is horseshit, i gotta Admitted, the Draken Jet is bascially my absolute favorite Valkryie Design, beside the YF-19.
So swedish robotech?
annnnd of course the sword will be in the P bandai release... sometimes, i just want screaM FUUUUUUUUuuuuu
can't this toy's make a real.😶😶😶😶
Action Figure. not a toy.
Im sure this valk is awesome, but the anime was so bad I just cant get excited about this.
