- Stopped at Middle Creek Campground to pick up a package but it wasn’t there. Met section hiker El WaWa and stayed at the largest shelter on the AR.

I don’t want to be that crazy person who comments on every video - but I have watched every one of them. 😂 Love following along with you and today you had so many great things happen … you lost, but found your pole! You got ice-cream. You fell, but softly. Ice cream. You expected rain, but only got a bit. You got a free ride where you needed to go - and got ice-cream. You made it to the shelter and actually got to stay in it. You got 10 seconds of sunshine. Have a great hiking buddy. Are meeting and running into other great hikers. And did I mention ice cream. 😂

@@carrieprewitt Whitewater rafting was amazing and hiking is a rarity right now given schedules, intense heat, or rain (like this weekend, all weekend long, after a gorgeous week). But it's okay - we wouldn't have rainbows and pretty flowers if we didn't have rain. 🌻
USPS is a hot mess right now. I sent a letter to VA from 2 states away last month and it took 24 days to get there. Perhaps having items shipped way up the trail with "Hold for Hiker" on the package might work. Good luck with that. Happy Trails! 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♀️👍
