Heading home after my Appalachian Trail through hike completion😀 #appalachiantrail #appalachiantrailthruhike #appalachiantrailthruhike2024 #atthruhike #hiking
Thank you for sharing your journey!! It will feel weird when you stop your videos! We will miss you! I hope you continue your post of future hikes and adventures so I hope these aren’t the last few you share and we all get to continue to see you! I am actually laying here in my tent on the AT at the cold spring shelter doing a section hike with my husband in NC and the entire time I was huffing and puffing up a mountain I would think of stories you told and inspirational quotes you mentioned on your videos to get me up those hard stretches of trail. Thank you so much for sharing your journey! Congratulations on finishing and I hope your ribs get to feeling better soon!
That is so exciting. I’m so glad you’re out in the wilderness! I do plan on sharing my adventures and different activities. I am posting something tomorrow that isn’t necessary outdoorsy but has a blend of my hike and my life here.
Congrats on your successful AT adventure... I see the PCT in your future... perhaps the best produced post summit vlog on YT with all the riding home included.
Congratulations! I admire your perseverance and you did it with such a positive attitude! Since you did a “what I am packing” video before the trail, can you do a review of what you took and loved or what you would have left at home in hindsight? Or wished you had taken! Thanks!
I bet it feels good to look at those mountains from your new perspective. Enjoy life on the other side. I live in FL and I hope to meet you at some point. You are such an inspiration.
Thank you so much. I think I’m doing fine. I do miss the trail incredibly but I am feeling back into the rhythm of life. It almost feels like the hike was a lifetime ago which I don’t like but at least I have my RUclips videos to reflect back on.
It seems so weird to see you in regular life and not headed back to the trail. 😅 I hope you are adjusting well & enjoying yourself. I've heard Ramdino discuss post-trail depression & adjustment. I hope you will give yourself a break if you experience it. I'd be so glad to see my cats after a long journey. Take care. 🐈 🐈⬛️
I don’t know that I’ll feel a postal depression, but I am definitely missing the trail. I have a few more post trail videos. I wanna share and I’m hoping to continue to post some of my outdoor adventures.
Glad that you're winding down after the trail. Just flying home makes a big shock. Next time consider taking the western route south(I-81). Good Luck, Rick
I’m glad you had a maple creemee! I live now in Bennington VT after hiking trail in 21 I bought a house. In 23 I had my first creemee! This year I found a place that made a creemee with an apple cider donut 🍩! Delicious
WOW You did it!!!! So inspirational last Wednesday i suffered a heart attack and kept thinking of all things and now!!?? I will surely take advantage of the time I have left and enjoy it with my children and grandchildren....so proud of you ❤
Wow, I’m so sorry to hear that! I definitely think we have to embrace every day and share it with the people we love! Best wishes to you and praying for a healthy recovery for you!
What a great post summit adventure. How fantastic to be home with family and your kitties. Congrats!
Congratulations Carrie!!! I enjoyed your journey so much! You are awesome. Thank you for sharing! ❤🥾

Thank you I don’t know if the PCT will be on my bucket list or not. Right now I don’t see that, but I never say never😂
