But Episode 3 could've been integrated into Episode 7. I liked seeing both perspectives. 🔸 One commenter stated the Jedi were depicted as predators... I don't see that at all. I saw well-meaning Jedi who kept following their passions instead of their training... which just meant making mistake after mistake. That doesn't make them bad, it makes them human. 🔸 The "we must be sacrificed" misquote little 'Mae' conveyed to 'Indara' and 'Sol' had a huge impact. They literally thought the girls were in mortal danger. 'Aniseya' actually said, "It is about sacrificing a *part* of ourselves". 🔸 It's also wild to learn that 'Sol' was imposing his own wants (to have a Padawan... even though he might not be ready) onto the situation. He even almost lost his temper with 'Indara' at the end, almost striking her. That shows a very un-Jedi-like conflict that adds to his motivations. 🔸 Another commenter asked why 'Sol' stabbed 'Aniseya'... because, as she was turning into black mist, 'Mae' did, too... so 'Sol' thought she was being killed/absorbed/whatever. It was his protective nature overruling his inquisitive nature. 🔸 And don't get me started on 'Torbin' being all immature from boredom and homesickness. 'Indara' turned out to be the most reasonable one of all.
This is one of my fav discussions on here in a while! Great show yall. I was a little down after watching this last ep, and a lot of the insight and discussion motivated me to rewatch it along with ep 3. I was scratching my head why people have been rating the show so low, but was at a 5 or 6 with this. I do like it better after the rewatch , but still have some issues with it. Overall, i am liking the story a lot so far and am not going to judge until after the finale. Great guest too!

I been watching and catching up with the your aconights episodes and watching the acolyte, so much happen I wish every episodes is little bit longer, anyways listen to you guys talking with theories and speculation, to me I’m always going back is the yin and yang, the witches aka one of the moms has that it also remind me in TLJ when Rey goes to the cave in Ach-to, there ther scene there’s a reference of yin and Yang, just like the power one, the power two, the dyad, could originality come from this? And that why Mai and OSHA are part of Yin and Yang. 😊
Great episode. Tbh, I’m so mixed on this week’s ep. It was the first time I almost really cried since Rots cause of how tragic it was, but then I’m also not sure know I feel with so many mysteries..
For the folks expecting Plagieus, i feel ya. Itd be rad! I dont see it. Its pretty early in the timeline still for him to appear imo. Tenebrous maaaaybe....but i doubt it. If this show got a 2nd season, i could see it.
Okay hear me out. What if they were going to kill Qimir, as John points out they kill their villains way too early. So they bring him back in season 2, with spider legs!

I will admit that I watch just about everything Star Wars except Bad Batch and Resistance. I think most of the stuff is at the same level as any other Star Wars around. This isn’t Dune or Interstellar this is supposed to be schlocky and campy. Over acted and fantasy philosophy. We have never seen the Dark Side like this and if this is a way to get Darth Bane I’m watching. It’s a 6.5-7.5 to me
