Very good video but my problem with this method is that once I export the stereo track into a mono track than I hear just the left side ! Why ?? Please if you can help me
Hi John. Not sure if you're new to recording. Those outputs mirror your interface. It's not about speakers, it's about feeding a console, outboard gear, etc.
Hi Temperjet - you should still be able to use this method. When you're about to export it give you a choice to include Pan/Automation information. I teach 1 on 1 online if you ever need a hand.
Yeah, this was my first video - just whipped it off quickly for a friend, didn't expect others to see it. I'll try to make more this year with professional levels.
Thanks!! Quick, direct and effective. The three things I ask for in a tutorial.
Thanks so much !
thx so much! so short and good explained!
So glad it was helpful. Thx for letting me know.
Thanks Mark, sweet and simple! New to LP and you made my first Stereo to Mono export flawless! 👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks so much. I didn't realize anyone could see this. I just made it to help a friend. Glad it helped.
@@markalexander905musicsound2 hahaha Oh Mark that's too funny! Well you teach well, you should put more up! Thanks again!
Great Tutorial! Thanx a lot.

Thanks so much - this started as a quick video to help a friend. I should remake it with better sound.
Very good video but my problem with this method is that once I export the stereo track into a mono track than I hear just the left side ! Why ?? Please if you can help me
Are you playing it back on a mono channel, panned to the centre?
Thanks! I needed this reminder. Subbed!
Thank YOU. Are there other issues in Logic you'd want explained. I may try to do more (BETTER) videos.
Does not work. I go right where he says to go and I only see mono left and mono right. Nothing like what his layout has.
It works - I just have more outputs because of my interface. Choose either Mono Left or Mono Right - either will work.
I can only hear it on the left side when I export it like that. @@markalexander905musicsound2
So I've followed this several times and it just doesn't work. Once I click off the stereo 'ring' icon to a single ring, I get no audio whatsoever. ???
Hi Donna email me at mark at 905music dot com and I can walk you through it - should be a quick fix.
As of today, I suddenly can't do anything more as stereo! All instruments are mono. Do you happen to know what it could be? greetings
Sorry I didn't see this. If you're still struggling, LMK.
does this guy need 32 outputs. how many speakers do you have?
Hi John. Not sure if you're new to recording. Those outputs mirror your interface. It's not about speakers, it's about feeding a console, outboard gear, etc.
The problem I have is when mixing stems for a live set you can't use this method because of your instruments that are panned. Any suggestions?
Hi Temperjet - you should still be able to use this method. When you're about to export it give you a choice to include Pan/Automation information. I teach 1 on 1 online if you ever need a hand.
Thank you bro
So glad it was helpful. Thx for letting me know.
Now if the levels were audiable....
Yeah, this was my first video - just whipped it off quickly for a friend, didn't expect others to see it. I'll try to make more this year with professional levels.
Terima kasih
logic is unbelievably illogical - why isn't a mono export just a single button option when bouncing or exporting? crazy
Dunno - I just teach folks how to use it :)
