Loved the discussion, i get what Lee was trying to say about Deep and how he shouldn't be that insecure but i believe it 100% There's people that you may see as perfect but they carry so many things on their back, i mean, having those gills was the major point of Deep's insecurities, there's also the dialogue "I could have been normal" when he realized that he wasn't born like that.
