The pain will go away eventually. Nothing happens if left untreated except eventually the tooth will fall out. Nothing to worry about people lived 1000s of years without a dentist and did just fine
For anyone curious to how chewing gum help oral health, Chewing gum increases your saliva production, a key component to good oral health. A healthy flow of saliva helps wash away harmful sugars and food particles. This prevents bad bacteria from growing inside the mouth and therefore, protects the teeth from decay. ✊
Do not disregard untreated tooth decay, as it has the potential to cause irreversible damage to the entire tooth structure. I currently have a cavity that has worsened over time, resulting in significant deterioration reminiscent of a decaying skeleton all because I left it untreated😭.

I just got my right mandibular 1st molar removed due to tooth decay. it's so much better now without the constant pain. even if you can't afford a root canal it's worth it to have it removed, a decaying tooth causes many problems
You'll go begging your dentists for help once this happens, the pain is unbearable almost a torture. I didn't even care about the needles and the digging, you jump a bit thats it, but you can feel the pain going away slowly when they operate you.
Swish your mouth with water a lot. Honestly it just is natural to me now. Whenever I drink Water I swish it around just to get whatever acidic gunk would be on my teeth
For any one with an active cavity that’s caused tooth decay, but can’t afford to go to the dentist’s right now, I’ve got a short term fix to help you until you’re ready. First clean the tooth out the best you can, arm and hammer tooth paste, after use some type of pick to scrape out any decay, then you’re going to want to have this product called “DenTek Temparin Max” grab a little piece of that and put it in the hole, it’s a temporary filling and should ease you’re pain, I have an exposed root on my last molar and this is what I’ve been doing until my company offers dental insurance again, it keeps food out and minimizes pain. Hope it helps someone.
Happened to me after eating too much halva, and not flossing. The pain, look, and disease. Now that dentist pull out my 3 teeth, had to have implants, and i needed 1 crown, i use expendable floss and stop eating sugar, that helped my teeth and health overall.
Got mine removed for $150 and additional $99 for the required x-ray.… I think there are payments plans too if you can’t do that. Some dentist offices do, some don’t. If there’s any reason to save a little on the side, it’s for a tooth extraction or root canal cause that shit is painful af. If your dentist says you need an “expensive” root canal… get it extracted instead. An expensive root canal just means it’s too far gone. Your dentist would rather lie to you and get as much money as possible from you rather than tell you that your tooth is too far gone and just extract it. Not all dentists are equal… look at reviews, shop around. I was in and out in 1 hour with both X-ray and extraction here in Seattle, Washington. I did my homework prior wondering if I should crown it or do a root canal, but feeling the entire side missing of my tooth I decided I wanted to extract it, luckily that’s the cheapest of options. I never even felt the tooth come out. It was my 2nd molar on bottom. My very first extraction. Warm salt water and this Red Cross Oral Pain relief kit I found at Walgreens helped me A TON till I got my appointment.
