Plase don't drag our Megatron through dirt like that. The whole concept of transformers is that "there is more than meets the eye". Nothing should ever be considered at face value only. Nothing is just white or black. Modern transformers show are more complicated. Megatron even becomes an autobot later on. 😅

With Darkseid being Megatron, Starscream would 100% be Desaad
I was thinking Starscream would be Harley Quinn. Since I remember in the Armada TV Show he had like a semi abusive relationship with megatron and I feel like it was similar to Harley and joker.
Plus Harley is sometimes a good guy and I remember Starscream becoming an autobot in one arc.

It’s fitting for Shockwave to be Brainiac since both are voiced by Corey Burton.
Shockwave is way too underrated and should be way more well known, his power and intellect matched Megatron
I like to imagine that if the DC villains ever got to Banter with the Decepticons/Predacons you matched them up with, Kite man would just look at Waspinator and ask "You also the butt of the joke?" And Waspy would just respond with a sad/disgruntled "Yezzzz"
Kite-Man is actually quite potent in the soon-to-be-defunct DC Legends; a unique kit admittedly

I don't know about darkseid being Megatron and joker being Galvatron since Galvatron is usually a reborn Megatron. If anything I would say darkseid would be unicron or possibly the fallen.

Nice list!!! As a Transformers savant, I agree with all your selections. I've already gotten all the alt covers for Void Rivals and Transformers 1 INCLUDING the 6 issue spread cover. The only series I have not read are the old Dream wave comics, but I have read all the FUN Publications BotCon Timelines or Shattered Glass comics. Love that HUGE OP model kit!!! Might have to look into that!

Only two entries in and I can already tell you didn't have a single Transformers fan working on this. Unicron would be a much better fit for Darkside and Jhiaxus would be a better fit for Brainiac.
The title had me thinking this was going to be a reimagining of the villains as decepticons with possibly art styled robots using the villains motif.

Comparing Megatron to Darkseid is WILD, Megatron believes he's the good guy liberating his kind and Darkseid knows he's the embodiment of evil who's sole purpose is tyranny. Sinestro is more similar to Megatron if anything. Starscream is the real Joker of Decepticons and Unicron would be equivalent to Anto-Monitor, not bumass Galactus knockoff Imperiex LMAO

I know he's not technically a decepticon, but I would equate Darkseid more with Unicron since Unicron is more intersted in destruction and with Darkseid wanting to end all life w/ the anti-life equation.
