obviously this is an over exaggerated but if your phone battery goes down fast then you should check the battery health (if it’s below 80-75% then it might be good to change it. i have an iphone and it last a the whole day and it’s fine with me

If you want a premium phone, the galaxy s-series is basically the same prices as normal iPhones. Android has the better “cheaper” phones but honestly the Apple Watch and the AirPods are really great for day-to-day tasks.
It’s really half and half, as much as I want to defend android, I had 3 android phones in the span of two years and they all got damaged in some way(screen cracking or water damage), now that I have an iPhone, I think that the durability is a lot better and the phone lasts a lot longer without a screen protector, so far I’ve been using it for 3 years, a lot longer than android ever lasted

Almost every single iPhone that ever came out was $1K, meanwhile the newer Android versions are $1K. Plus iOS is only used by one company while Android is used by many companies.
Also, android (specifically Samsung) phones are tough and made to last. My dad dropped his on cement without a case as he hadn't gotten one yet and the only thing that happened was a tiny little chip off of the colour plating. No cracked screen, turned on just fine. Literally missing a tiny colour piece that was covered when he got a case
I have an A20s, have dropped my phone down the stairs, onto concrete multiple times, had it flicked out of my hand and drenched the backside of my phone with water for a few seconds without a case and yet my phone is still alive. I have cracks but that's expected I'm just happy its even alive ngl

I searched it up and apple and samsung have a similar batery life but the reason why apples look so much weaker is bc they have a weak cooling system which cooks(pun not inteded) your batery life(bc of overheating) While samsung has a great cooling system

If you want a premium phone, the galaxy s-series is basically the same prices as normal iPhones. Android has the better “cheaper” phones but honestly the Apple Watch and the AirPods are really great for day-to-day tasks.

It’s really half and half, as much as I want to defend android, I had 3 android phones in the span of two years and they all got damaged in some way(screen cracking or water damage), now that I have an iPhone, I think that the durability is a lot better and the phone lasts a lot longer without a screen protector, so far I’ve been using it for 3 years, a lot longer than android ever lasted

My dad dropped his on cement without a case as he hadn't gotten one yet and the only thing that happened was a tiny little chip off of the colour plating. No cracked screen, turned on just fine. An iPhone 15 (Sep 2023) is $1129. With software support for at least 6 years, so one less. But note that the iPhone 6s (Sep 2015) from 9 years ago, is still receiving security and bug updates. So that ranges from $1129/6= $188 to $1129/9= $125 per year.
It's pretty close overall, in my opinion, and you can't really go wrong with either phone. But the fact that Apple's iPhone 6s, SE, 7, and 8 (which the 6s was released as early as 2015) are still working compared to Google's OG Pixel (2016) has already ended its support in 2019.
At the end of the day, only time will tell how long these phones will be supported. But the fact that iPhones have a long history of this support gives it more credibility for long-term software support for present and future iPhones.
