  • Intel has been approaching this situation very badly considering how massive the issue really is, more and more users are reporting issues at an alarming rate and intel isn't doing a recall. This will damage their brand significantly, so I made this meme video to show how intel pushed things too far to stay on top of the CPU race and they failed badly because of it.

if your intel cpu is not crashing than its probably hasnt degraded lower the volts and amps from bios to intel baseline specs or you can go a little bit lower even than that just to be extra safe till patch fix comes till mid of august if your cpu isnt crashing then there is no need for rma cause your cpu is probably fine if not then im afraid you will have to go through the rma process for a new cpu because even with the fix your cpu will still crash cause its degraded.

It's around 5 years for a completely new microarchitecture. Raptor lake isn't a new architecture and was mostly a rework of Alder lake. The Alder lake microarchitecture (cypress cove) was also ready way before it was released as Intel had to backport it to 14nm to make the 11th gen as the 10nm process it was designed for wasn't ready yet.
I assume Intel started working on cypress cove before the og Ryzens were released. The 11th and 12th gens were based on it well before 13th and 14th gen, but the last 2 gens were rushed out in panic over Ryzen 7000 which led to what we're seeing now.

When Intel did a 250w cpu, nobody cared, it was the best cpu for gaming... If the Intel fanboy was less ready to buy anything because it's intel, then we would not be in this situation...
