This is prime devil wears prada, their new stuff is good and zombie 2 has to be their best album since dead throne, but this era of tdwp is their best, plagues, wraabb, zombie, and dead throne are their best albums, Mike’s vocals and stage presence were insane during this era.
Man I remember seeing them at a little place here in SATX called The White Rabbit. That’s were all these bands used to play. When the homesick album came out from ADTR, it was ADTR, August Burns Red, TDWP,, and Silverstein all in one little venue for a show. It was so fucking sick.
I saw this same tour in March the next year in KC they were with kill switch engage. I saw bring me the horizon and parkway drive the same show in a club venue in kc with about 500 people around then too. I’ll never forget those shows
Shit I’m jealous. That’s my dream lineup. Just replace Silverstein with PWD and I would die happy. Saw ABR PWD and TDWP on the reverence tour several years back.
Peak era of prada this could be the peak era of post hardcore. I need to download this video i come back looking for it every couple months or so and it never stops ripping. Fucking unreal.
Been jamming this and #2 set list that released a year or two later. If there was ever a show I could’ve been at, it would have to be them at this era of their songmaking+performance. Uniquely flawless both plagues and roots above

Tf happened to this Prada? So heavy, so sincere, so big. They're so dead now, they used to be so big, now look at where they are.. Fanbase is complete shit now, and their music isn't heavy anymore.. COME BACK PRADA, DON'T BE ASHAMED OF YOUR FAITH.
Not anymore they aren't mate. I forced myself to enjoy 8:18. it's sad how much they have regressed. Mike screams - wheezy as fuck Tone of guitar- blank and weak Heaviness? Never knew 8:18 was considered hevay Overall production- complete and utter lazy shit. If Dead Throne was produced the same way With Roots was but remaining Jeremy's more raw sounding vocals from 8:18 with the same tuning and powerful, adventure driven riffs, they'd still be at the top of their game.

I totally forgot how amazing these guys were the last time i saw them was in november of 2008, my second show it was epic. Watching this makes me wanna see them so bad now.
The Devil Wears Prada is my favorite band, I've read and learned the lyrics enough to understand that they aren't angry, but that they're just sending a message to all those who don't know about god.
The breakdown in the beginning is the intro to their new song,"Martyrs" that will be on their new album "8:18". I pre-ordered the album yesterday and got an instant download of that song and "Home For Grave". Pre-order it on tdwpband.com !
Got two great live vids I took of Prada when I saw them on my page so check that shyt out! Saw em in December- definitely ready to see them again. Their the hometown heroes from my home of Dayton, Ohio, great band.

thank ya! @BVTV please add this to op
Thanks ya
Take me back! Miss seeing these guys back in my“screamo” days
People watching didnt realize this was the golden years of metal. The show they received was pure gold.
Honestly I would choose going back in time to be there for this show over being there for my hypothetical child's birth.
When I want to watch their live set, it'll always be this one.
Hi, 2021 here. It's still never been better than this.
Still nothing by 2022!
Same in 2024...
Is anyone else still addicted to this set?
This is prime devil wears prada, their new stuff is good and zombie 2 has to be their best album since dead throne, but this era of tdwp is their best, plagues, wraabb, zombie, and dead throne are their best albums, Mike’s vocals and stage presence were insane during this era.
This video is now older than I was when I first saw it. What a classic.
HOLY SHIT THAT INTRO IS THE BEGINNING TO MARTYRS OFF 8:18! THIS SET WAS LIKE THREE YEARS AGO OH MY GOD.
youre right thats so cool they had this riff for a while
Man I miss these shows so much
Wow no joke they're really good live, even clean vocals
7:25 The moment the whole earth shook.
Daniel is, and always will be my idol. I don't care what shit people talk about him, he's influenced my playing more than any other drummer ever will.
still watching in 2020 going into 2021, can still feel the energy from the show

Mike and Jeremy were so good this set.
Oh my god. That camera shake near the ending of Danger: Wildman was so SICK! xD

Such a perfect setlist
The intro to this show is still insane
Go listen to their song Martyr
Damn I miss it!! 2009 vibes
at the end of danger: wildman, mike tells everyone to move. everyone did including the camera guy. TDWP is fucking awesome
I can't even get over how epic this is. They NEVER cease to amaze me.
one yearago, this magical video was summond from the depths to come blow every ones mind. one year later. minds are geting blown off still
Peak Prada!! Nothing was touching them during this time! 🤘🏼
29:48 “this is how we do” 😝
Mike makes the best faces.
You sir, you sir are extraordinary. Thank you for posting this. Seriously.
I have never been to a more incredible show in my life!! Mike grabbed my head, no biggy

I could watch and listen to Mike all day - the essence of good metal core.
Prada was so SICK live. I think the music business is starting to wear on them a bit, after a long time it becomes a "job" rather than a "joy".
I miss when Jeremy used to sing like this :/
how the hell he played the keyboard while headbanging?
Muhamad Fakhrul Razy us keyboardist are the craziest fuckers around ;)
one of the few bands that did not sell out and yet still stay true to themselves, gotta give them props for that
:(
This show was one of the longest shows I’ve been to....we came as romans, I see stars, broadway, of mice & men & love hate hero played before prada
What the fuck... of mice & men with Austin and shay? & prime we came as romans damn.. z
I see stars too.. wow. They did become really good in 2013 but still, what a show

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.
one of my favorite bands ever, and so much fun live.

I absolutely love that Mike hardcore dances during shows.
The beginning is freaking BRUTAL!!!
the most sickest gigs i have ever seen in my life!
Sitting in my work from home office whipping my hands ever 10 minutes.
Seeing them live this summer...couldn't say I wouldn't be content if I were to die right after their set.
What a killer fucking show, TDWP in their prime were next level.
Best live band i have ever seen.

Damn. Cant believe they sound this good live. Hopefully ill go see them 30th of October!!!
Best Band that I've seen live by far.

Mike's vocals are fucking insane live. They have such a unique sound. There's no other vocalist with his exact sound.

Oh boy don't I just looovee Devil Wears Prada breakdowns :3
The breakdown in the beginning is the intro to their new song,"Martyrs" that will be on their new album "8:18". I pre-ordered the album yesterday and got an instant download of that song and "Home For Grave". Pre-order it on tdwpband.com !
"THIS. IS HOW WE DO." That's so bad ass. I can't believe I've never heard a vocalist say that during their breakdown before now. Well done.
peak tdwp right here, doesn't get much better than that set list
this set is insane
Got two great live vids I took of Prada when I saw them on my page so check that shyt out! Saw em in December- definitely ready to see them again. Their the hometown heroes from my home of Dayton, Ohio, great band.
I feaking love the intro! It gives me chills!!
i've watchedd this like 100 times
