What I really love about this documentary is that it showed the band disagreeing and arguing. Which is a very real and crucial part of every writing process for if not arguably every band. Knowing that everyone inside a band is different, we almost forget that there was so much that went into a song before its made when we finally get to hear it.
This was amazing. Such an amazing experience to see. Gets me hyped. Makes me wanna get back into writing, practice guitar more, and to make my unclean vocals better. True inspiration
+emilio garcia It's so inspiring, finally got around to watching it, it's just really cool to see how these guys go about making songs and how they want to keep making music, with the space EP that recently has been put on youtube I think it's awesome to see a zombie EP then a space EP , it's actually a good change to see bands stepping out of the norm and the usual writing with their songs and the lyrics they convey.
+TDWP VIDS UNOFFICIAL Dude seriously... They need some of that mellow laid back type songs like Kansas from dead throne I think and implement it in a album
one of the best live bands you will ever see. i've seen them 5 times and they are consistent, and growing. i love the integrity of this band. i love that they don't have to drop an F bomb every 5 seconds and have sailor mouths. the talent they carry is incredible, the message they share is incredible. these guys do music right. sad to see Chris go but I am beyond stoked for what they will come up with. this song was amazing!!! even after soooo long they still sound like TDWP!! I LOVE THIS BAND
I remember liking the vid to watch it later when it came out. 3 years later maybe ill watch it now. Just havent kept up with TDWP since Dead Throne. Nows the time
Sad that this was the last time the original band members worked together. Thankfully they still make amazing music because at the core mike and Jeremy are the heart of the band.
I really admired these guys so much growing up. I was always excited about all their music. It was an escape to my problems i was facing. Now, it just seems like they have to play/be together because of buisness purposes. This will still forever be my favorite band.
You can tell that the bridge was something that was rushed due to the time they had to finish this single. Realize 4 days to write a song from nothing is not a lot of time at all. In the video they seemed to struggle with the bridge concept but mad props to writing this in 4 days!

These guys are amazing honestly truly a inspirational group of guys. I've listened to them since plagues and even though with roots above and branches below was my favorite they get better with every song. Someday I hope to meet mike and scream it out with him !!!!!!!
i can't believe they recorded this right where i live. the shots of highway 65 were making me freak out a little because i drive those roads all the time.
though it may not be as intricate and detailed as most of their other songs, the fact that they were able to pull off a song like this in this time deserves some appreciation haha
@Hollows NH I've been listening to them since Plagues and I must say I'm indifferent to the line-up changes. Their music has remained consistently amazing in my opinion and thats all I really care about. If members don't want to be there then why should the music suffer.
I kinda want TDWP to be a legacy I don't want the name or spirit of the music to ever die. I want them last throughout time with different members every say... 17 years or so lol. I'm just saying this because I want to do the vocals for them 😂
Nathan McCammon Haha That was a joke band from a long time ago. I think Mike should be giving more information later but I don't think the information is out in the open yet.
I will always love these guys and their music I’ve been listening to these guys since in was early 20s and I’m now 33 it’s crazy but damn good music love u prada
This video in the beginning looks like indiana then I saw the sign to Indy skylights where weren't you!!! Awesome I bet you went through Evansville where in from
If only I could meet Mike Hranica. I get how he feels at least somewhat about being surrounded by people, but being lonely. Im sure everyone says it, and wants to be his friend. Ill add myself to that category. Hi Mike.
Adrian Zamora They've mentioned a lot in this video of how their writing process was. Chris would write everything out and then bring it to the band and it would evolve from there either drastically or not at all. I'm definitely expecting a very different sound on this next album.
I'm really hoping they keep their complex sound, that's always been TDWP. Such a beautiful structures they have made in all albums and such catchy songs.
I'm sure they'll still sound like TDWP. Even with a big change in the songwriting process. I think it'll bring a great new wave of a new sound. I feel that this next album they put out without Chris will be an interesting turning point, but I'm hopeful.
of course their sound have changed a lot, especially on the guitar!!! i fucking hate it!! listen to Supernova for example, Chris have no contribution in Space EP, so you know it's gonna be suck.
Bence Kárpátfalvi Hey Bence, check out my vimeo. There is one on there about the revival tour which is similar. I have more work like this coming over the space of the next two years for other artists - vimeo.com/ryanmackfall
When will they release the song on the Rise Records Channel? Or on their own channel? Now way in hell I'm going to buy a damn Vinyl just to listen to a song
iam_rehab This wasn't released through Rise; "South Of The City" ended up being TDWP's last release with Roadrunner Records. It counted as a 3rd release on their contract with them. The Space EP will be released on Rise.

Sean Willis exactly
these guys are LEGIT musicians...will always love them.
You can really tell Mike is a writer, not just a lyricist on this new album and it's great. He makes me wanna read more.
I haven't followed these guys too much lately, but I loved this documentary. Can't wait for this song to release, it sounds super atmospheric.
This was amazing. Such an amazing experience to see. Gets me hyped. Makes me wanna get back into writing, practice guitar more, and to make my unclean vocals better. True inspiration

Oh thanks, guys, this is even more I anticipated receiving today.
Always love the background music in their videos.. that inspiration needs to make its way into some prada songs
TDWP VIDS UNOFFICIAL FOR REAL.
+TDWP VIDS UNOFFICIAL Dude seriously... They need some of that mellow laid back type songs like Kansas from dead throne I think and implement it in a album
@@5dsTv this aged well
Honestly I like what Prada is doing and they're becoming one of my favorite metalcore bands and they're very promising with they're own sound
tdwp has matured so much through the years I've listened to them since I was in 3rd grade and every release gets better and better
one of the best live bands you will ever see. i've seen them 5 times and they are consistent, and growing. i love the integrity of this band. i love that they don't have to drop an F bomb every 5 seconds and have sailor mouths. the talent they carry is incredible, the message they share is incredible. these guys do music right. sad to see Chris go but I am beyond stoked for what they will come up with. this song was amazing!!! even after soooo long they still sound like TDWP!! 3 years later...still love this
I remember liking the vid to watch it later when it came out. 3 years later maybe ill watch it now. Just havent kept up with TDWP since Dead Throne. Nows the time
thanks LJ. Glad you're still vibing it!
Watching this made me notice and appreciate Daniel's work on drums for that intro
Chris, you are going to missed. Can't believe 2 of the original Prada members have moved on ),;
What the fuck are you going on about. I really hope you're just saying that...
Steveo YDG Freeland yep, sure is gonna be an avent
+Jordan Toole 2 members? who?
+Ryan Pluke Chris and James, you must be new
Isaac Frazier Not new. just havnt heard the news
Sad that this was the last time the original band members worked together. Thankfully they still make amazing music because at the core mike and Jeremy are the heart of the band.
Love making of music documentarys
I remember one of the TDWP posted an instagram photo of the TDWP logo Chris drew in chalk towards the beginning
You boys are breathtaking. Thank you for always doing that. I love the song.
Chris we miss you :(
Best band EVER. BY FAR. Thanks guys. TDWP forever!
This was an awesome documentary. Great insight and kudos to the band / videographer!
heyitsdrake thanks man!
+heyitsdrake yeah
I really admired these guys so much growing up. I was always excited about all their music. It was an escape to my problems i was facing. Now, it just seems like they have to play/be together because of buisness purposes. This will still forever be my favorite band.
Fantastic snapshot of how the song was built.
Awesome documentary, these guys are super passionate for what they do, which is why they're an amazing band. Can't wait for the Space EP!
You can tell that the bridge was something that was rushed due to the time they had to finish this single. Realize 4 days to write a song from nothing is not a lot of time at all. In the video they seemed to struggle with the bridge concept but mad props to writing this in 4 days!

Chris: you should be a car salesman
Jon: nah I'll just take your job.
Love the new song and great documentary. Would love another tour to the UK soon.
i can't believe they recorded this right where i live. the shots of highway 65 were making me freak out a little because i drive those roads all the time.
I absolutely loved this. It truly even more so made me appreciate the music yall guys put out! Thank yall so much!
Always will look up to you guys! Keep it up! Please post the song song!! OMG AND TRY TO COME TO WARPED THIS YEAR OR SOMETHING!!
Hell yes! So excited. I'm glad it kinda sounds like 8:18
though it may not be as intricate and detailed as most of their other songs, the fact that they were able to pull off a song like this in this time deserves some appreciation haha
Also, that studio seems super comfy and chill. Like, I would love to make music there lol
I just realized that this is the studio one of my favorite bands, Real Friends, made an album.
Not just an album, but most of their EPs also! And this is the studio Knuckle Puck goes to.
I watched the documentary before hearing the song :D enhances the experience when you actually hear it first
Man this band is great...
Awesome band. Awesome music. Can't wait to hear the song :)
After watching No Sun No Moon knowing what transpired with Dan and coming back here, you can definitely see the tension between Dan and the group.
@Hollows NH I've been listening to them since Plagues and I must say I'm indifferent to the line-up changes. Their music has remained consistently amazing in my opinion and thats all I really care about. If members don't want to be there then why should the music suffer.
i was thinking the same thing !
Oh for sure, you can see a lot of the times Daniel disagrees with them. Especially the conversation @15:40
We miss you, Dan.
Awesome documentary! really enjoyed the new song! so excited for the Space EP!!
This song sounds amazing.
This was awesome. Love you guys!
Ok but the 11/2 minute of the song they made was raw asl and I want to hear it now.
34:36 Best part.
It's pretty cool and Amazing that I was at that exact same studio 2 days ago recording with my band
Can't wait to get this tomorrow
🙏
All these years later. Bliss
I kinda want TDWP to be a legacy I don't want the name or spirit of the music to ever die. I want them last throughout time with different members every say... 17 years or so lol. I'm just saying this because I want to do the vocals for them 😂
+Rad Vocals good music never dies, it lives on throughout the ages
+Rad Vocals I feels. I wish I could be Oceano's vocalist.
R8er1980 You better be pretty damn brutal.
PUT THIS SONG ON ITUNES NOW!
AnchorsAwayYall I think it's being released digitally on 28 April.
Adam Artz where'd you hear that?

What is Mike's side band name?
Rico Roman I believe it's Spongebob Grindpants??
Nathan McCammon Haha That was a joke band from a long time ago. I think Mike should be giving more information later but I don't think the information is out in the open yet.

Cornwallis Well this guy looks awful familiar!
Jeremy was getting pissed... xD
The way Chris was responding was funny I think, he's just like "let's do it!" Haha
I will always love these guys and their music I’ve been listening to these guys since in was early 20s and I’m now 33 it’s crazy but damn good music love u prada
Chris looks like a Skyrim giant with the long hair and beard
Are you a pirate hahah loved that!
This video in the beginning looks like indiana then I saw the sign to Indy skylights where weren't you!!! Awesome I bet you went through Evansville where in from
Fuck, they came to Calgary like 2 years ago and I missed them. I want to see them live so bad. I'm so fucking stupid. I hope they come again :*(

36:02 "Or he could be fucking something." -Mike
Nick Murray gfursef

"you should be a car salesman" ahaha
Hey juan
I've recorded with Seth and he's the best, my profile pic is in that same live room they're in! Definitely goin back to record the new album
I love you Prada!
What's the background music playing in this video? I think its pretty sick.
Chris and I have the EXACT same writing process
I wonder what made Mike do clean vocals on this song
Chris looks like an 18th century seaman.
Real Friends!
If only I could meet Mike Hranica. I get how he feels at least somewhat about being surrounded by people, but being lonely. Im sure everyone says it, and wants to be his friend. Ill add myself to that category. Hi Mike.
this is your best song in my opinion, but why not on spotify 😅
It’s on Spotify found under their singles
Does anyone know what songs are playing in the background?
Does anyone know if the background piano track is made for this documentary or is it an actual song?
Fuck writing music, let alone with four other people simultaneously; none of it is easy. Job well done.

Adrian Zamora They've mentioned a lot in this video of how their writing process was. Chris would write everything out and then bring it to the band and it would evolve from there either drastically or not at all. I'm definitely expecting a very different sound on this next album.
Dang thats true.. I hope they dont become a typical metalcore band now, hopefully the new guy progresses them
I'm really hoping they keep their complex sound, that's always been TDWP. Such a beautiful structures they have made in all albums and such catchy songs.

Sounds a lot like 8:18, a good thing though

Bence Kárpátfalvi Hey Bence, check out my vimeo. There is one on there about the revival tour which is similar. I have more work like this coming over the space of the next two years for other artists - vimeo.com/ryanmackfall
TheRyanMackfall Thanks, I'll check that out!
