just picked up my 2023 330i yesterday. Love instantly....HVAC in the infotainment is very easy to use. Don't need buttons. You can always tell your BMW to change temp etc by voice if you don't want to use the screen.
Stopped considering this car when I found out there are no physical controls for the HVAC system. Having a clean interior is nice, having a functional interior is better.
You are missing out. The controls are not even .0000000113 percent of the total experience. This is a fun ass car. I’ve just turned 3000 miles on mine after 55 days of ownership. I thought controls might be annoying: I actually leased as my company pays for my vehicles, but no issues have plagued the 3-series… yet.
Hi Alex, in the hybrid, the battery doesn't live in the trunk but rather takes space where the fuel tank usually resides, while it is the fuel tank that goes in the trunk.
I have this car. Only difference is I have the shadow line package and red brakes. Amazing car. You get used to the hvac buttons. Worse case bmw voice controls have vastly improved since 2019.
I have to agree with Alex. When it comes to all around vehicles the 3 series and C class hit the nail. Some other cars do some specific things better but those two have top tier interiors, infotainment, and drive great. Everything else gives up something while being better at another.
I disagree that the C-class has a top tier interior. It used to have that, indeed, but the last few models has seen a dramatic drop in quality. It's all cheap plastics, creaks and rattles. These days you have to step up to the E-class to get on the same level as what BMW is providing in the 3-series. And this is coming from an (ex) Mercedes-fanboy. I think it's a disgrace, the quality they provide on such an expensive car as the C-class. This is of course only my personal opinion, though I've heard it repeated often, but the interior quality on the base 3-series and the base C-class are incomparable, they don't even play in the same league, which is a shame because Mercedes' interiors do look amazing, more so than BMW I think, they're just very cheaply made on anything under an E-class (or a C-class AMG top model and trim perhaps)
@@BinaryBlueBull I agree that the C-Class interior is cheaper. I recently tested the MB and the BMW, and I bought the BMW. My old car is a C-Class. I don't like the huge Tesla-like display that takes up most of the dashboard. I would only but E class and above now. They retain the quality I expect from MB.
@@MrAuell This is precisely my opinion as well. I have tested equivalent models of both of them and the dramatic quality difference is undeniable on the new models. If someone doesn't see that, he or she is blinded by brand prestige and not objective. I also don't like those huge screens, especially not because more and more brands, including BMW now too, have done away with all climate control buttons and it's now all touchscreen. I really don't like that. At least Audi still retains physical buttons, for now. If I had to buy MB, it would have to be E-class or higher. For BMW I can go one model lower (3-series) and get a higher interior quality than C-class
There are few things I hate more than HVAC controls in the infotainment. My wife is on her 3rd C-class. If we had to replace it tomorrow, I would try to convince her to avoid the current C-class, due to mess of the current MBUX system with its stupid touch sensitive controls.
The 330e is currently available with a $7500 federal tax credit (may be expiring at the end of March) - That is a huge discount vs other versions of the 3 series. Most auto journo's are recommending that one. You can charge it with your standard wall outlet - so no special charging accommodations are required for most people.
@@aluisious not true if a potential owner has the use case of most local errands and commuting in ev mode. Combines ev benefits most of the time and ice benefits (fast refueling) during road trips.
Yup, came to mention the PHEV. Not huge EV only range but barely more money than the standard price which is different than how a lot of other car companies price their PHEVs all the way at the top. We've got a 5 series PHEV and get about 44mpg combined, being a larger car the 3 series will probably do a bit better in the real world.
Can't wait for Alex's review of the BMW X5 50e, seems like a great package but the MSRP coupled with the tax credit changes may make it too expensive as an upgrade over the 45e
IMO, the best looking of the current generation 3 series. Put the M3 engine in this and you have a winner. But knowing BMW, they won't do it. I'd still have a Lexus IS though.
Great review as usual Alex. I owned a 2010 3series and loved it. However, after a few rattles, lack of ventilated seats (personally my biggest gripe, but then that was not available on most luxury cars in this category), run flat tires which are on the firm side and their resulting expense, the over-alI cost of ownership after the expiration of the warrantee. Example, the cost of a 12volt battery was over $400 at the time and then my battery installer had to call BMW to reset everything on a Saturday evening when the dealerships were closed, I switch to the Lexus and have never looked back. You just said " the benchmark does not have to be the best in every thing..." well, Lexus was good at most for me, including said ventilated seats, excellent standard safety features, comfortable and smooth ride, and higher resale value. To me, lack of reliability translates to lack of quality and although I did not have any major problems with my 3series I would never buy a car just based on so-called "innovation" especially when that car technological wise, is not really giving anything more when comparing apples to apples in practical everyday livability usage.
honestly the reason that bmw had major issues (although u mentioned you didn't have them) are because they are always throwing cutting edge tech on the car, while lexus likes to keep it conservative
@@shawnx7806 I personally did not find anything that was "cutting edge" on the BMW when compared to the Lexus. Although I wanted a small luxury second car I also shopped their upper level trims to find what I wanted and even then could not find ventilated seats or intuitive controls. Handling was good and the ride was firmer, (rougher) than I liked, but I enjoyed the sportiness of the suspension overall though.
@@Mark-de4hj I think the term cutting edge prob is too exaggerating, but I was referring to things like the zf-8 speed (mechanical), the new idrive-8 (infotainment), the dynamic adjustments (suspension, steering, throttle response) of the drive modes (performance), as far as I know Lexus was kind of held back on those categories, other than I know the IS RWD has a pretty good transmission.
@shawnx7806 That assessment would be incorrect. Lexus does not use the name "Idrive" for it's infotainment system, and each brand has their own term, but they do provide on-the-fly suspension adjustment capability and handling on some of their vehicles. Bottom line, feature for feature Lexus provided more usable options for the money. I used the term usability because we get duped into believing fancy names for the same components translates into a better product, but it doesn't. At the end of the day, we all can make choices as to what fits our needs. I consider myself smart enough to ignore the hype, but I absolutely believe we should always buy what we love.
The size chart is wrong. A4 is longer, C class too (you probably used numbers of their previous gen?), regarding current models the 3-series is shorter (in length) than both.
And you would also enjoy absolutely abysmal gas mileage. BMW's twin turbo V8, with 155 more hp, in the much larger and heavier M550i, no less, gets the same mpg than Hyundai's G70 3.3t. Both get 17 city and 25 highway. Hyundai's abysmal gas mileage blows my mind.
@@ShowMeWhatINeedToKnow BMW's expensive repair costs, expensive maintenance, and ridiculous unreliability also blows my mind. The more you spend on gas for a G70 will equal the increased normal maintenance costs of a BMW. That doesn't even take into consideration the more expensive repair costs and worse reliability of a bimmer :)
@@ayushmalpeddi2793 -- My 3-series BMW is 7 years old, which I've owned since it was new. Want to know how much money I've spent in repairs? $0. The entire time it was under warranty, want to know how many parts they replaced? ZERO. And I average 29mpg with AWD. Yes -- repairs will eventually come -- and they will be a bit more. But it will be stuff like oil filter housing gasket and the valve cover gasket. Very straight forward maintenance items. The repair nightmares you are referring to are more of yesteryear's BMWs. Finally, although a G70 is nice, it will NEVER have the chassis, engine, transmission, and traction control sorted out to the same degree of a 3-series. Hyundai just isn't there yet. Not saying it's a bad compromise, but you can't just look at a single metric, like a dollar amount, and pretend you've "won". Because there's certainly compromises with that price.
@@ShowMeWhatINeedToKnow not so fast on pooh-poohing a genesis. They are advancing extremely quickly and their new products from the last two years have been amazing.
It's sad that BMW doesn't give a manual option anymore because the B48 engine with a manual, properly tuned can definitely beat a Civic Type R. B48 can easily be tuned for 400HP, the 330i is a bit soft so a stiffer dampers can help. The car even stock I drove was easy to rotate on tight turns.
Two things I don't like. 1. The gauge/infortantment screen. Should have left them separate. 2. The gear selector stalk gone for a little toggle switch.
Totally agree. I chose the Giulia in 2017 and don't regret it but the 3-Series was a close second. The biggest problem with BMW is you can't keep them very long. After 5 or 6 years the wear out items fail and the cost is astronomical relative to the value of the car at that time.
any car will last 5-6 years or more. As long as you take care of it The reason cars don’t last long is because nobody remembers to take care of it, do all required maintenance on it
@@layne4376 65K miles as of today, not a single item has failed or worn out; not even brake pads. I have only replaced tires, oil, and spark plugs per schedule. That's it. No modern BMW can make it six years and 65K without some major expense for a failure or wear out item.
My F30 335i had an in service date of May 2013 with 112k miles on it. Regular maintenance. Water pump (It was working just changed it for piece of mind). Charge pipe and one tiny plastic coolant line. Then oil filter housing and valve cover. Overall low running costs for 10 years of service.
I'm on my second Giulia and love it! Zero problems but it's getting a little old and a 330 or M340 might be next for me. Why was there no mention of the G70?
The Accord *used to be* the 3-series of family sedans. It's a bit less sharp these days, and frankly, one might say the 3-series is also now the Accord of sport sedans. Lines = blurrrrrrry. LOVE the spider chart reference, btw. And eesh, is the Lexus IS ever old.
I like the exterior of the lci but prefer the interior of the pre LCI. I drive 8 has too many things going on. Not a fan of the integrated climate controls and the thumb drive shifter is not cool at all. Just when 3 series gets closer Mercedes drops a c class bomb.
I’m that guy lol currently looking to get a new car within the next year and considering higher end Camry (waiting to see the redesign) or potentially get into a 3 series. Thanks for the review!
You have to get 340i or higher bmw to get adaptive cruise control....that's wild when it comes standard on many other cars including my basic Mazda Cx5
The first BMW I ever drove was the legendary 2002. It was a revelation, and a joy to drive. The car seemed like an extension of the driver. It wasn't fast but, boy, was it fun to drive. All its successors have followed in that tradition. Unfortunately, those beautifully simple ergonomic cockpits of old are a memory. The interior has grown progressively overwrought and less elegant. The "3" has always been the best "Bimmer". One caveat with the Bimmer, aside from Germany, BMW drivers in the rest of the world tend to suffer from "aholeness" 😆
The mazda6 is a competitor. The only drawbacks for the 6 are the top end performance vs an accord or Camry and legroom and some features like the infotainment touchscreen locking you out when in drive
It's worth noting that even though everyone loves the Toyota/Lexus reliability, the B series engines in the Beemers have proven pretty darn reliable over the years. Light years above the N series engines before them.
Except they use too much plastic. That’s what breaks. All the plastic in the engine bay Had they used metal bmw reliability would be even better Plus if you really want reliability just get a Camry or Prius or corolla
@@naveenthemachine It's still pretty damn good. Also the reliability you get in this case is never going to be in comparison to a regular non-luxury car, it's going to be in comparison to other things like the C-class.
@japanwatchconnection well right now no one. But remember with turbid there’s more heat generated and over time that heat can melt and crack the plastic parts
I’ve owned one and had to get rid of it because it gave way to many headaches and loss of time due to how many times it had to go in to the dealership for repairs and maintenance. The engine and transmission is good/reliable, yes, that’s true. My car at 50k miles on was constantly breaking. Countless hoses, sensors, fittings, water pump, failed, one by one. Plus, there are other consumables that wear out so quickly due to the high curb weight, that are costly and adds up. I recommended that every owner buy a good extended warranty when the factory warranty expires, or you’ll be even in much worse shape when the miles get really high.
I much prefer the pre refresh 3 series. This is a step backwards especially getting rid of the physical climate controls. It’s like BMW wants you to buy the competition.
i have been driving 3 series my entire life. Literally, my first car was a used base model E90 323i, then a F32 435i (basically a 3 series, but 2 fr) now I have been driving my G20 M340i for 3+ yr now. As I am pushing 30, I think I am growing out of 3 series. The seat is just not that comfortable for me. 1hr drive gonna kill my back in each of my 3 series. I think I am a 5 series guy now.
I've driven the new 3 series four different times -- a different car every time. The ride is terrible -- way, way, way too firm for a daily. Maybe the adaptive suspension is better, BUT when Alex was on the dirt road I heard his voice quiver as if he got the wind knocked out of him. That's way too firm for a daily driver, for me.
@@Troy-fv9uq Yes, it does look that way, unfortunately. But some manufacturers will do it better than others. BMW’s screen integration is poor so far, to say the least. Kia’s screen in the revised Telluride, for instance, is mounted flush with the dashboard from end to end, and there is no piece of plastic support behind the screen that is visible from the front passengers’ seats, something BMW could learn from.
The torque is what is under rated on these. A brake power dyno machine shows the HP is at its rating, but the torque is much higher than rated. For example, the 2023 M340i is rated at 382 HP and 369 Torque. Dyno measurements show 383 HP and 421 Torque. That's 50 more foot pounds!
Love the Beemers, always a great car. But I have to say, I much prefer the Audi lineup when compared head to head. For tangible and intangible reasons it just feels like a more luxurious, sporty and sophisticated ride. The tech is unsurpassed by anything BMW has to offer. That's important to to me, as well as looks, ride and amenities. I borrowed and drove the BMW extensively, but bought the Audi. Part of the purchase was due to your review Alex.
M440i GC here. I had an M340i and the stock M-sport suspension was too firm for my liking. The adaptive M-sport suspension on my M440i GC is perfect. If you get one of these cars, get the adaptive suspension. This car is absolutely phenomenal with it.
@@ShowMeWhatINeedToKnow You're literally the only person to say the 3-series suspension is garbage. It's one of the most well damped strut suspensions on any production car.
@@madpistol - It's garbage for what it is -- which is a daily-driver do-everything car. If it were a dedicated sports car, that would be different. And no, I'm not the only one. Everything else is pretty good, minus the new iDrive 8 stupidity.
Fighter835, what do you mean there is no physical control of the HVAC system? Of course there is, otherwise how would it know what temperature you wanted?
I find very little to fault with the overall design. The Achilles heel is the lazy execution of the propped-up picture frame style IP and infotainment screen. I suppose genuine design integration was a profit margin killer.
Between my wife and myself, we have an IS 500 and a 330i. I had an IS 350 for about 1.5 years before upgrading to the IS 500, and my wife's 330i has been in our care for almost 2 years. I honestly think the 330i was the superior vehicle to the IS 350 in most respects. The ways in which is wasn't superior probably don't matter to most shoppers of vehicles in this category - styling, better-bolstered seats, a naturally-aspirated V-6 instead of a turbo I-4, and the promise of dependability. The 330i simply feels more modern all-around. However, I agree with Alex that the IS 350 is the one I'd rather throw around on a back road. Even though the 330i feels lighter, it also feels more distant and vague, and the fake engine sound that can't be defeated is a real bummer. However, on day-to-day journeys, the 330i feels effortless and agile, making it arguably the better daily driver. Of course, the IS 500 is a different story. Having the V-8 means it, too, feels effortless around-town, while having about 10 times the character of either the IS 350 or the 330i and more straight-line pulling power. It's not really a fair comparison. I've never driven an M340i, so it would be interesting to see how it compares with an IS 500.
@@layne4376 it never will 😂. Lexus beating bmw is as likely as Alex’s Durango SRT will last over 300k miles with everything still working and not burning a drop of oil
@naveenthemachine Sadly, I never would've considered the M340i. It doesn't have a V-8, and I've heard the steering is not very connected. But I'm sure it's a fantastic automobile.
@@layne4376 What's that? I can't hear you over the piped-in digital engine noise. Maybe I'll just go back to listening to my V-8. Besides, for me, I specifically wanted the IS 500. The M340i does not matter at all.
Even though I love the IS500 and have even auto crossed it, the interior honestly feels older in it than even the outgoing 3 series interior. The V8 does sound awesome but also the fuel economy is equally horrible, so better really want that sound. The M340i is a beast especially in AWD form, but as far as a long term investment, I think the IS500 may be one of those rare gems. It's the last of the V8 era in a highly reliable package. It is entirely possible for the IS500 to appreciate over time if the mileage is kept low.
*"sport sedan"* absolutely spot on with that although I think the Toyota Prius for ahem *BARELY* 4 door* ahem definitely thrown down the proverbial gauntlets excluding pure BEV Tesla
BMW has finally integrated the tablet from other models into the 3. What a sad day. While the new one is sophisticated, it takes so much from car design, personality and physical functionality. Inside the car now feels more like a phone/tablet with a steering wheel :/
The 2023 LCI screen is terrible! What a mistake compared to the 2022 version. I see now bmw is reverting back for 2024 to a similar version to the 2021-22 models years screens!!!
It's fine. There is plenty of space. The number is a bit misleading, especially if you compare it with the IS, which supposedly only has 10.8. The real world size difference is not super noticeable.
Lol you wish. Lexus has brand loyalty, quality and longevity. Infinity on the other hand, poor build quality. It’s like they attempted to model Toyota’s Kaizen, but it ended up just lacking innovation and build quality all together.
Great review. Totally hate the digital-tablet dash. Germans like technology for technology's sake, not because it's a better way to get things done. I wonder what the replacement cost is for each screen? Probably a good idea not to know and just lease it. Forget about owning one.
Really nice. That said I can’t stand that color leather. Looks like baby poop. When you know you know 😂 excellent review as usual 😎👍🏼 sticking with my TLX. Similar spec and great value.
@@ARentz07 you’re not wrong, but my brain adjusted really quick. For the money it is entry level luxury (upscale Accord) and I gotta say, it’s fantastic. Handles like a dream, a little more horsepower than this BMW, leather, tech, Yadda Yadda.

I think this reviewer has eloquently expressed the reasons I bought the BMW 330iX over the competition. For me it wasn't close. I found that the Mercedes was a disappointment in the C-Class for me and doesn't seem to have the luxury OR the sport that the 3 series has. I don't find too much road noise in mine. Maybe I'm going deaf! The factory tires in my 330iXDrive model are not as smooth as I would like, and I'm not a fan of run flat tires. I might buy a spare and go to a higher quality tire (not run flat) when it is time. I think the base sound system is very good for a base level system. It doesn't compare to the premium systems on any of the cars that I drove that had that, but for base level, it's great. The front seats have enough room for me and I'm a very large man (6'2" and well-padded). I don't feel cramped at all. I don't care too much about rear seat room because our medium sized pooch is the usual passenger. When my wife and sister rode back there recently on a short excursion they were quite comfortable but they are both around 5'3". My last sport sedan that I purchased is a MB C-Class and I loved it but it is old and retired. I may use it for a winter car. We have a Jeep but my wife likes to drive it all the time.
I test drove a 2021 BMW the other day (I own a 2011 328xi) and I was quite disappointed with the hard noise the doors make when you shut them. In a luxury brand, I expect the door to do a low "thump" noise. Even my daughter which is clearly not a car enthusiast noticed it. She thought she slammed the door too hard but after a few gentle tries it was doing the same hard noise. On another front, I thought the front seat would give me a bit more headroom (I am 6 feet) after a few generation after my current BMW but I have to push the seat almost all the way down otherwise my hair brushes the ceiling. I don't know if the A4 is the same.
Thanks for the explanation. You make a point there. I would think though being a luxury car that a talented engineer would find a way to to smooth this. I shut the door several times by applying less force at each attempt but it was making the same metal to metal hard noise. Maybe rubber placed at strategic places would make the job. Or maybe BMW could ask the engineer that designed my toilet cover that silently closes down or Ikea for their silent drawer/door system. Lol
I just want apple car play in a screen, and the ability to change stuff without going through the screen. HVAC, defrost, seats, windows, mirrors and wipers as a minimum should not require any screen ever.
Traded in my 2020 330i M Sport for a 2023 330i M Sport, and my new one drives NOTHING like the old. The 2020 lacked something. It didn’t drive like a BMW. This new one is PLANTED to the ground. Drove them all from the Guilia to the G70. Doesn’t drive like a BMW. They just do it right.
Totally disagree, the BMW’s styling is not better than an IS. I do agree Lexus has sacrificed innovation for lower maintenance costs, but I’m okay with fewer trips to the dealer and needing a courtesy car. (Bimmer, Audi, and Mercedes.) And the IS is most definitely a luxury car.
@@RomanM803 No…you’ve just described a Tesla. 😂 I’ve had 2 ES and 3 IS models and everyone who has sat in them remarked on the fit and finish. Camry…::eye roll::…that worn out trope. Like a Camry is bad, it’s one of the best selling cars….everywhere. It’s just not a Lexus. 🤷🏽♂️
Great review Alex as always. I'm not a fan of the new dash, which is really just a screen and not sculptured. Just a slab. Also it all looks too complex. Not really interested.
I had pretty much forgotten this car even existed. Feels like it hasn't been redesigned in 10 years and has gotten really stale. The new digital screen is great, but looks like it was literally glued on to the old dash.
I believe you forgot to mention the Acura TLX A-SPEC AWD. Reliability and quality and much cheaper to maintain once the warranty has ended. Incidentally, I own the 2021.
I know that looks are subjective but, how could the S60 look better than this if the S60 is a FWD platform that has been artificially proportioned to elongate the hood to appear as a RWD? 🤷🏻♂️ The 3 Series isn’t perfect but it definitely beats the Volvo in the looks department IMO
Lexus IS should not be in the comparison. People buying cars from this segment would rank the hike of algeneline as their top priority. If people want a car that's reliable and has good longevity, they can pay 1/3 of the price of an IS to buy a Corolla or Camry, and they perform the same.
The exterior styling is simply so Toyota. And though it's very nice to have a wide display like this, this looks so awkward. Jacked up on the dash like it's an add-on bought from an aftermarket accessory shop. From the look on the entire interior and exterior styling, I can't see how it can be a benchmark for any proper car. This is definitely made for people who buy a BMW because simply 'I want BMW'
Wrong. As Alex said the 3 series is the Honda accord of the segment There’s nothing where it falls apart in. The exterior is handsome not as say the gulia or s60 but it’s more attractive than average. Much more attractive than Lexus. The cabin is luxurious again not THE best but it’s better than some (Lexus) The tech is really good for the class, legroom headroom are decent, trunks a good size, it’ll age very well, and the driving experience is one of the best while still being very comfortable quiet refined and just easy to live with all for a good value with above average reliability
I wish they kept the physical buttons and also added the big screens. The buttons looked good before. Overall, I’d take the 3 series over all the other ICE cars, but I think I would rather keep my Model 3.

BMW has gained major strides in reliability in the last 7 years.
honestly the reason that bmw had major issues (although u mentioned you didn't have them) are because they are always throwing cutting edge tech on the car, while lexus likes to keep it conservative
I don't know exactly why I hate the BMW digital speedo and tach so much. But holy hell they're not getting any better.
I'd go with a genesis 3.3T for 46K new
The g70 is a screaming value
As long as you take care of it
The reason cars don’t last long is because nobody remembers to take care of it, do all required maintenance on it

You have to get 340i or higher bmw to get adaptive cruise control....that's wild when it comes standard on many other cars including my basic Mazda Cx5
Pretty thorough, BUT
Is it 48 volts?
How about reliability?
Bmw reliability is above average.
What about Mazda 6 as a more competitive competitor than Accord/Camry?
The mazda6 is a competitor. The only drawbacks for the 6 are the top end performance vs an accord or Camry and legroom and some features like the infotainment touchscreen locking you out when in drive
The Mazda6 I think is hampered by their dealer network. There aren’t many Mazda showrooms.
It's worth noting that even though everyone loves the Toyota/Lexus reliability, the B series engines in the Beemers have proven pretty darn reliable over the years. Light years above the N series engines before them.
Except they use too much plastic. That’s what breaks. All the plastic in the engine bay
Had they used metal bmw reliability would be even better
Plus if you really want reliability just get a Camry or Prius or corolla

The engine and transmission is good/reliable, yes, that’s true. My car at 50k miles on was constantly breaking.
Countless hoses, sensors, fittings, water pump, failed, one by one. Plus, there are other consumables that wear out so quickly due to the high curb weight, that are costly and adds up.
I recommended that every owner buy a good extended warranty when the factory warranty expires, or you’ll be even in much worse shape when the miles get really high.

Nice car, but I just can’t get past the replacement of the hood and instrument cluster with two large screens.
Screens are the future in the auto industry.

If you want reliability buy a Camry or corolla and be done with it
The m340i DESTROYS the is500.

You make excellent videos, thanks!

Ok, LEXUS. Gotcha.✅
Lexus IS should not be in the comparison. People buying cars from this segment would rank the hike of algeneline as their top priority. If people want a car that's reliable and has good longevity, they can pay 1/3 of the price of an IS to buy a Corolla or Camry, and they perform the same.
Long hoods are safe for wrecks
The exterior styling is simply so Toyota. And though it's very nice to have a wide display like this, this looks so awkward. From the look on the entire interior and exterior styling, I can't see how it can be a benchmark for any proper car. This is definitely made for people who buy a BMW because simply 'I want BMW'
Wrong. As Alex said the 3 series is the Honda accord of the segment
There’s nothing where it falls apart in. The exterior is handsome not as say the gulia or s60 but it’s more attractive than average. Much more attractive than Lexus. The cabin is luxurious again not THE best but it’s better than some (Lexus)
The tech is really good for the class, legroom headroom are decent, trunks a good size, it’ll age very well, and the driving experience is one of the best while still being very comfortable quiet refined and just easy to live with all for a good value with above average reliability
