- What the hell just happened... I was just trying to enjoy some peaceful skewb solves.
By the way, thank you guys for 10k subscribers! Sorry I haven't been posting anything. Haven't been feeling the best for the past few months. But I've been going to some more competitions and they're really motivating, so expect more videos soon!

the most chaotic thing that i've seen on a competition was when a mom of a 10-year-old cuber started yelling at the delegates and scramblers for giving her son a dnf on a sub 2 solve (it was also skewb) cuz he was given a wrong scramble. the problem was that they didn't have a video, only the judge who paid attention on the scramble and noticed that it was wrong. but what happened to you is a lot more messed up and funny at the same time lol
Damn that’s a rough one. It must have been like a three mover or something then, for the judge to notice it. I can just imagine the scenes haha

I haven’t even finished watching and already found this insane. How many error can occur in one round? This must be the world record.
A 2x2 average of mine
1st solve: Judge started inspection to late so I automatically get an extra (fortunately for me is was a bad case after layer)
2nd solve: normal with the extra or atleast that's what I think
3rd solve: I somehow get same scramble again, meaning the scramble guy gave me the second scramble on what was suppose to be the extra solve.
4th: Delegate realizes after observing my solve I didn't get the 4th scramble but the 5th, so he has to switch the order on the card, by this point everyone else was about to finish while I still had two more
5th: 4th scramble, so not the worst mistake ever
However the delegates realized that is extra scramble nr 2, which I never should have gotten in the first place, meaning normally they have to get an extra from a previous sheet or generate a new extra. But they also relize that I never got the first scramble, I am not even kidding, on a seemingly failed judge attempt, I somehow got the second scramble, then the scrambles did the extra correct, then someone else did all the others wrong, so my last solve is on the first scramble.
Now since I don't ever practice 2x2 I wasn't even mad any of this happened. I was mostly confused. If I had to guess it was an inexperienced scrambler who did most of my solves. But it was still super confusing.
Bro what 😂 that is so confusing haha. It seems there are a lot of mistakes from scramblers/judges when there has been an extra earlier in the average
I didn't see you stop the timer. That was certainly a weird round. But congrats for the 3.15 solve.
It is conceptionally weird how you can stop and start the timer with one hand never leaving the pad. Our brains dont work like that. You can see it in the video, he moves his right hand forward and touch with his wrist again before left hand leaves.
Despite all that, impressive skewb solves. I think i average around 90 seconds, not sure, havent touched my skewb in a long time.
my friend was doing clock and they didn’t have the right covers so there were so many times when the clock fell over knocking pins over. He ended up having to go up to the solving stations around 15 times and had to get like 5 extras
Yeah clock is a pain to compete, judge, run, honestly everything. I don’t know if you’ve heard, but the people at WCA are proposing changes to how the clock event is being ran. They released a survey asking for competitors’ opinions on the current rules and which should be changed.
The main focus is about the pins, about what to do if there’s a misscrambled pin or if the competitor can put pins down during inspection, etc.
This is amazing because a lot of people were worried that clock would be removed, but instead they’re improving it. So everyone in the community is really happy. (sorry that was a lot of information lol)
Interesting call by the delegates. I m pretty much certain that if that were to happen to me delegates in my country 10 times of 10 would just give me scramble 2 instead of extra
Yeah I was surprised when I checked the scrambles on the website and saw I got the extra haha. But the delegate that came over was a training one I think, and he said extra probably just to be safe

the timer stoping i can relate, in my second competition there was a cutoff for oh, the first solve did not make the cutoff so i had another chance. On the second solve the scramble seem rlly good but then the timer stop after picking up my cube.

There is something a little weird on your WCA profile and I think you should look into it.
Your 1.99 NR average has been changed to 2.09. You might think am crazy but go see for youself
Yeah unfortunately one of the solves was disqualified. If you look in the description of my 1.99 average video there’s more information. But I’ve since got NR again twice and it’s now 2.09
Same thing happened to me at my comp. I got a 3 second skewb solve even though I average about 7

@@ScoochCubing I plus 2ed out of podium, then for the final solve I got a timer glitch (0.01)
When I got an extra, it was the same scramble. So I got another extra.
Later, my 0.01 was entered in wca live so I had the WR single for like 2 minutes.

LOL yeah the judges in this comp were dodgy. I think there were just a lot more new competitors than usual. Namuun literally made a whole compilation of bad judges in this comp alone haha
