- Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 does not come with any Clock nor any Tripper Navigation on the Instrument Panel Cluster. I have made an attempt to add a genuine RE Tripper Navigation of Meteor to Interceptor 650. More details are in the video.

This is just fantastic!! I had picked up a RE Tripper unit and looking around for the connector and wiring! And while watching this video, i spoke with Akhtar and ordered the wiring straight away!! @@Km15DJ It needs a permanent 12V for memory of real time clock in background and another ignition wire which is needed to get it into power ON mode where display comes up. If you get a socket set from Akhtar Bhai from Mumbai you are sorted, else if you have the pin diagram of it you can wire it too.

I use iPhone only 😂 What made you to assume that I do not use iPhone? I mount Android on my bike as they do not shatter the camera 😄
RE Tripper navigation is overrated product which is literally useless tool.

I found only useful when one doesn’t have a mobile mount and most smartphones get their camera module impacted when mounted on bike.

@@harishreejoshi3195 Not using it, I immediately removed it in a day because the 3 eyed looks I don’t like it. Looked like Bajaj Caliber or a Demon Cyclops with 3 eyes. But it worked like a charm.
Yes, brackets and the wiring is also the part of the package from Rider 786 Akhtar, only you need to buy a Meteor Navigation pod.

Hi! How can i connect the tripper with the ignition? I have to connect and disconnect the wire everytime i want to use it. Thank u for your vídeo!! Help me a Lot i have this problem yet.
There is a separate wiring harness created for Interceptor650/GT650. One male & female socket plug & play one is live from the battery and the other from the ignition these combination go towards the Navigation pod. It will be easy to get one built from Akhtar 7R Customs. Please WhatsApp/call him at +91-7864996786 he will be glad to ship the required cable.
I already found the problem:) it was just invert the connection of the socket! Now it works with the ignition. Thank u very much once again!

Thanks buddy, the Classic 500 bottom right fuel guage/ampere pod might need to replaced with a Classic Reborn size tripper navigation pod. Please note that I used the Meteor Navigation which is larger than the Classic one. The wiring harness you’ll get it from Rider Akhtar 7R Customs (Mumbai), +91 7864-996786
You may call and ask him on compatibility for 500 before buying.

How does it looks from the front without the windshield ?
To be frank with you, it looks like Bajaj Caliber Instrument Panel Cluster, like a head of Cyclopes with three eyes.

Yes, that's correct, the time display screen is replaced by navigation screen. Interceptor does not have any other clock in the 2 pods, this is the one we have to rely on.

Is it working fine?
Yes worked like a charm, behaviour is same as that of the OE fitment as the wiring harness connection is same. Only you will miss twin pod classic beautiful looks in the Instrument Panel Cluster. The Tripper pod becomes a third eye looks like Bajaj Caliber or a Cyclops from the cartoon show 😃

It does not give information on voltage, only time and navigation
@@automotriztechnica Sad, I badly need a Voltage meter which is reliable for my interceptor as its loaded with extra electronics.... As you know Interceptor RR unit is cranky at times.

@@automotriztechnica yeah bro, I was about to buy it, however this voltmeter you have mentioned does not come with a clamp or wiring... So it would be hassle... Anyways, I stay in Bangalore. I will check in JC road tomorrow.

This SKU part number from Royal Enfield is for Meteor 350, for Himalayan I have seen from top, not seen the connectors from bottom. Size looks same.

We get at Service Center, now stocks are limited. Apart from that some accessories shop also keep the stocks
It is one of the useless accesories, its not going work accurately, for 5k its useless use phone holder instead of this.
In my case it was precise than the one I have on other bike. The GPS data is taken from your phone and the precision is 100% dependent on your phone. Just to be on the tech front, your phone GPS should lock to L1 (1,575.42 MHz) or L2 (1,227.60 MHz) RF signals from the satellite. The RE pod is designed in collaboration with Google. The Phone GPS data is sent to the Navi-Pod via Bluetooth, simple on the device display.

I believe you are mentioning in the final looks on the Panel Cluster; if that so it looks Horrendous and looks like a 3-Eyed Cyclops 😂

@automotriztechnica you've asked the question and you yourself answered it 😂 that additional navigator didn't look good in between. It spoils the whole rider POV. Anyways it is a turn by turn navigator so it doesn't help much., quadlock or ram solves the problem. And some people don't like the look of mobile mounts too., so there are many magnetic tank pouch/bag options available in the market like Carbonado, Rynox, etc. And there are clocks in Amazon which can be fitted to the stem nut for the ones who are cautious about time.
@@likeablebiker You have much aesthetic knowledge appreciate that. The magnetic tank bag have created some issues in the fuel injection process. I believe you are aware of it.
Yeah, by the way I sold the bike long ago. It was a horrendous decision on buying it.
@automotriztechnica why do you feel that way!? Any reason!? For me., Interceptor is one of the best bikes in the market as it has a beautiful engine with a lot of character to it. It may not perform like the remaining but it has its own stance. I own 5 bikes., Apache RR 310, Duke 390, Street Triple RS, Ninja 1000 SX and Interceptor 650. Each of these bikes have their own purpose like duke and Street triple are damn fun to ride and Ninja is an absolute beast on the highway while touring. It is a mile muncher. In the same manner Interceptor carry a lot of character. It might be the reason it is an air cooled engine which is very much mechanical or the 270° firing order or the riding stance.. I don't know.,
@automotriztechnica I never faced any fueling issues because of the magnetic tank bag and there might be fuel pump issues but never ever heard of the issue because of the tank bag.
