Our housing crisis should have been sorted out years ago. There will always be the argument of running out of brown belt land and avoiding green belt land. My town has tried to provide housing by converting offices into flats, major problems… unaffordable and nowhere to park.
I don’t feel like you are being very fair with the way you are portraying these peoples lives, and the feelings of residents. Someone could legally park most of those vehicles on a residential street and they would still be an eyesore whether they were lived in or not. some people might not want any ugly metal boxes with wheels to litter their streets at all, but you can’t control who or what parks outside your house. Why are you casting everything in such a negative light? Humans have lived unsettled lives for millennia and maybe being nomadic in the modern world just happens to look like living outside your friends house in a van
@@growyourownfreedom2191 There is a big difference between choosing to a nomadic lifestyle (travellers/gypsy) and being forced to live one (not supported by councils or evicted by landlords). If councils could provide sites specially set up with toilets / showers / power / refuse collections for caravans, residential areas wouldn’t be affected so much.
If it wasn't for 4 million living with their parents, they too would be homeless, million's of houses gone to those from abroad, pushed up prices for at least 2 decades, more new people higher prices, it's called supply and demand issues equals inflation problems
Tell you, here in Australia the prices for dumps are shockingly high our grandkids will find it hard to get a home of their own without mum and dad bank to help them. Best to you in the UK. Now check out how our Governments are giving millions to a war in Ukraine that has nothing to do with the West. Then people in our country are homeless or not enough council houses built. But the governments have to pick up this rubbish for the sake of every persons health.
@@Jenifer_G I've watched quite a few documentaries about the Oz housing market (I'm UK, BTW) and you're right, the prices are absolutely MAD. A million or more Aus dollars for absolute dumps, crazy! BTW, on a totally different note, just have to say that I LOVE Australian movies. If I notice that a film is made in Oz I will always give it a go, and am usually not disappointed. Makes most of the stuff coming out of Hollywood look like total crap.
There's also the factor that in the past plenty of people could have scraped together enough to move but now they're fighting it out for limited properties that often require minimum incomes or will prioritise those who can pay 6 months ahead. I've noticed the minimum income thing appear in our area of Devon and it always seems disproportionately high for basic little flats.
Brilliant Vlog Joe, I’m 48 years old never have I ever seen England in such a state as it is now , it’s just a dump, everything run down , what’s it going to be like in another 25 years 😮.
As an American, I really love Joe's content. He shows us how life is in the UK from the perspective of people who don't usually have their stories told. Yes it is a bit depressing and not as glamorous as other travel RUclipsrs, but it is the truth! These problems are not only happening in the UK (as in regards to homeless and un-affordability) but also in the US. We both have very similar issues going on. Most foreigners (especially from underdeveloped countries) believe everyone in the UK and US are filthy rich and they have money, which is further from the truth. Most of us are just trying to get by, work out jobs, pay our rent/mortgage, build/take care of our families and live a simple, happy life. I can tell Joe really cares for the UK and his fellow countrymen by telling their stories through here. Love the content Joe, keep up the great work!
Thanks so much for the kind words! 🙏 I just hope the videos help in some way. I hope one day soon to head over the pond and visit the United States. Thanks again for the comment and for watching 🙏
You still have to keep it in perspective. The majority of the country is NOT in this state. The majority of people are NOT living in vans or caravans. I'm British, now living in New Zealand & we have similar challenges. Governments have encouraged wealth but it's only the wealthy getting wealthier.
The gap between the poor and those that skim off the masses but refuse to pay tax is getting wider that is the real issue too many investors expecting government bailouts
How about the British opening their doors to Ukraine refugees and inviting them to stay in their homes and not being sent to Rwanda, as in the case of non white refugees. Enough of this racist crap! The reason why locals are living in caravans or on the streets is because they don’t want to work. Why else would the government allow immigration if there were no jobs to fill?
Some people won't believe this... I'm mid 50's worked 37 years in the NHS. Brought up four children and now face this lifestyle as a real consideration. The cost of living and spiraling rents mean I will soon have to work more than full time hours to make ends meet. It's a ridiculous way to live. Millions are now close to this point with no clear option for their future. I'm holding out till the end of the year, once my rent goes above 1.2k I'm out, whatever way I can. If you're young, migrate if you can.
So sad and happening more increasingly! Thanks for watching and the comment 👍 please share the video with any like minded people to help spread the video far and wide! 🙏
I left Bristol in 2015 and it looks like it’s changed so much. I need to visit again to see. Bristol used to be the best city. I’m subscribing to your channel.
Good work, Joe. You highlighted a problem that ultimately jerked the council into gear to clean the rubbish. You made a great point . Still no skips or bins. Thank you again for excellent reporting 👏
The government tell you theres a cost of living crisis when in fact they are allowing the energy companies to keep increasing the prices as the government tax 40 percent of all excess profits which is billions of pounds on top of the already overpriced charges while giving themselves huge payrises.
No I ble Blair government. Flooded the country with immigrated . Causing house shortages. And present labour want to do the same. Yet fools will vote for more destruction of Britain.

I wish more people could understand/accept why this is happening. If you continually import nearly a million people into the country, year after year, then it drives pressure on wages down and pressure on accommodation up. What we see here is the result of this.
I've argued this for years but apparently that makes me a racist bigot rather than someone who looks at immigration from the aspect of the economy. The first guy interviewed mentioned Brazilian Deliveroo riders, do we really need to import people to work for Deliveroo who then need housing, welfare, healthcare etc? Successive governments have created the low wage economy we now find ourselves with and it's not going to change anytime soon. The fact that even discussing immigration has been, for many years, restricted by calling people racist etc for daring to dispute what's going on has only hindered any meanigful debate.
Terrible really. Rock up on a boat, having already travelled through multiple "safe" countries and the UK will provide illegal immigrants with food, shelter, washing facilities, toilet facilities, financial support and the immigrants need worry not where it will come from. Yet, here you have people shitting in buckets, living in boxes on wheels wherever they can park them as the UK offers them zero support. This county is totally broken.
what does that say about people in uk treating their own that way... this is done by yourself no one else.. look at northern europe and show me the same problem, you cant because there are plenty of different solutions to this situation and you are trying to make some poor soul looking bad, while your own are the worse good luck deffending that
how are brazilians allowed to work here? how do they insure mopeds no address? do we even know who they are buzzing around private roads? this country is the wild west
Having worked with Brazilians they come here under the guise of Portuguese 😂. Nice people I guess they are just like us trying to get on in this miserable existence
Its depressing how many people blame foreigners in the comments when that wasn’t even the subject of the video. Wake ip people it’s greedy Tories who have destroyed this country not poor people escaping from the horrors of war that UK politicians started.
@@diogenes1815 I'm not disagreeing with your point in general, but when did we/our government start a war with Brazil, out of interest?! 🤔 Also, it was a Labour government who invaded Iraq, and if you think Blair's little protege and their party of WEF stooges is going to improve anything I'd say you have another think coming. You're absolutely right that it's largely the political class to blame for all this, although the individuals who attack our native population (especially children) should be held accountable in the strongest possible terms in my opinion. But that's another failing of the politicians, so round and round we go... Nothing against the individuals genuinely coming here to try and better their lot, but I don't have to be happy about the ways it affects our country, culture, housing stock, economy or landscape...
I grew up in Bristol in the sixties. It was a wonderful city and I have a great affection for it. I'm now 74 and I'm shocked to see that people are being forced to live like this. I can understand that Bristol residents struggle to live alongside the caravans but where are these people supposed to go? They would otherwise be on the streets. I dread to imagine where this country is heading. Thank you Joe for highlighting this situation.
This is just all the Middle class kids born in the 80's, for whom Freshers week at Bristol UWE University with Charly and Mandy never ended. Now they are 40 and live in a caravan
Ain't that the truth mate. I've lived in Bristol since 1986 and the rental market here beggars belief. My 28yr old stepdaughter has worked in same job since she was 16 and rents a converted garage (Granny flat) for £700 per month and she's one of the lucky ones. Council &Housing Associations waiting lists are unrealistic and despite housing developments springing up all over only a small percentage cater for social housing. Affordable Housing they say but in reality that's Affordable to ppl who qualify for mortgages. Plenty houses recently built in the Montpelier area but no upgrades to local medical facilities etc.. I've no solutions to these problems but then again I'm not a politician paid silly money to do so. Well done Joe for the video, if I'd known you were filming near Greenbank cemetery Id've invited you in for a cuppa
Without yours & a few other channels most wouldn’t even be aware of the deep seated social decay, keep up the good work because the mainstream avoids focusing on the real issues going on.
As a resident of Bristol city, I appreciate this so much. I go past that first campsight on the bus to work every morning and always wonder how that came to be. Now I know, because of this video. Please continue to bring awareness to the quality of life for many people in this country.
Lived in a caravan for three years on a small campsite with nice facilities, saved a ton of money which was the whole point, a bit hairy when it’s blowing a gale but to be honest i loved it!
I wouldn't like the insecurity and the lack of facilities, very nice to have the trees outside the door and the birds tweeting, bless them. I have managed to find a little resting place, one room with kitchen, bathroom, and utility room, but had to work at it. Thanks for the information, having too many folks in the world has put property prices up
@@LilyGazouinvading other peoples countries, stealing their resources etc will cause people to leave their own countries for a better life unfortunately. I only did a few months ago, never knew it was this bad, most of the millions imported go to London pushing people out into homelessness, Bristol is next door to London so it all over flows. Another year arrives and 1.5 million new people arriving,600k leave, only 90 k were British emigrating in 2023. But that's still 800 k new people to provide accommodation etc for and their offspring eventually
The British are so tolerant of the situation,so the government keep with the same destructive policies. Its not just the homeless affected by mass migration, high rent's and high house prices etc direct causes are unfettered migration,it will effect and is effecting energy prices as it tries to deal with the demand by higher prices
What did we do to get there? This country is becoming a catastrophe... Even in the Channel Islands and particularly in Guernsey, we can no longer even find accommodation because the rents are simply so high that people who were born and lived in their islands are forced to leave... It's is unacceptable!!!
Happening more and more especially within spots like Guernsey. I imagine Airbnb has decimated the rental housing market? It's killing Newquay for locals and other places alike
@@JoefishJ Hello, I myself was born on this island and I have lived in France for part of my life... now I would like to return there to live... but it is impossible with rents which are totally ridiculous, like a bedroom for £1000??? But are you serious here??? I am very surprised why the authorities of Guernsey do nothing to control rents in this island? It would be good to do a RUclips report to denounce these abusive rents... it might change things... They will end up killing this island, because everyone will leave because they can no longer find accommodation. Guernsey is not Monaco or Los Angeles.
You keep voting in crap governments and then fail to hold them to account once they are in power because you are fed a diet of lies by billionaire newspaper owners.
We all know that the housing crisis is down to supply and demand. Mass immigration certainly isn't helping, but it obviously suits the govts agenda for it to be allowed to continue....... nice to see some caravan dwellers who keep things tidy. Local councils should provide services and facilities to deal with waste. Health and safety of the general public, both residents and transient's, should be a councils primary concern!
Many of the caravans look very similar and appear to be about the same age. Normally with a caravan park, there is a random collection of vans of different sizes and ages. The fact that the vans mostly seem to be the same make suggests to me that these people have been housed here as a deliberate policy by the council! Thanks for uploading.
When the pressure of homelessness is so great, merely turning a blind eye can turn into "policy" on a local basis. This is definitely deliberate policy by "our" government.. I'm glad they have caravans instead of tents..
often caravans over 20 years old can not stay in many reguler caravan sites if they are staying more then a few days.. also renting them out can be hard, they become kind of useless when they turn 20 years old
Great report, thanks, Joe! Good to see the main site has been cleaned up. You can really tell which inhabitants have chosen to live in a camper, and who have not. The big yellow truck at 21:55 I am pretty sure is there voluntarily. The red Audi convertible parked in front might be the owner's as well...
Hi buddy 👋 Thanks for watching 🙏 yes definitely a huge difference to be fair was really good to see! Coming back to Copenhagen in a few months with the Mrs. I'll give you more notice this time 👍👍 thanks again buddy
Rents are very expensive put bills on top of that and for the average person that can account for around 70% of their wage packet. For most people that means they can only exist living off debt. This effectively means there is no real point in working. Landlords often sell properties putting the tenant needing to have up front month in advance and deposit plus fees to rent another property. Concerns around living on a caravan in an unofficial site would be around health and safety.

what does that tell you about your own, treating your own like that.. why are you talking about some poor soul getting a roof over their head 🤣 while your people are treating your own like crap..
This is a reflection of a broken society. Rent and property prices have driven so many people to become effectively homeless. In a fair and democratic society, every person deserves a home. Second homes need to be taxed to a higher level, this would stop landlord hawks profiting from a necessity, which is housing. Love the channel mate
It is a lack of housing full stop. UK 450 houses per 1000 people France 550, Germany 580. We build roughly 200,000 homes per year. In 2023, 1.2 million people migrated to the UK, 700,000 net
Meanwhile in the northern town I live in there are houses sat empty because nobody wants to come and live here even if you can buy a 3 bedroom semi for £100k and the average rent in the town is £600pcm. You can't tell me this country isn't seriously messed up when you have younger people like my niece leaving a town like mine to go to university to study medical research, then to get a job in one of those cities further down south and add to the already ridiculous housing local shortages in those cities. It's like a mass exodus of our young from our towns to the cities where the professional jobs are because they think it will make them more wealthy but in reality I'm here earning £30k per year and paying £250 per month mortgage but then you've people in these cities earning £50k per year but half of it goes on rent to begin with. Then the cost of living as whole is higher in those areas such as food costs. Where in a city can you get a loaf of bread for 75p like I can in my town? So they actually end up worse off financially overall. My belief is that if true levelling up had been carried out whereby the decent professional jobs in this country were spread out evenly rather than concentrated within just a relatively small number of cities then the people would naturally spread out more to cover those jobs and those areas where the housing shortage is most acute, such as Bristol, could be relieved somewhat. Then we wouldn't have people in caravans at the roadside in Bristol whilst we've perfectly good houses sat empty in my own home town.
I can remember a time - before Thatcher ! - when there were only tramps who were homeless. The selling off of council houses - which has given us more private landlords making a fortune out of housing benefit and reliance on 'market forces' have given us this grim, depressing mess.
Agreed I watched a great documentary on this topic by a fella named Jimmy the Giant. Check it out 👍 thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the rest of the content
Thatcher gave council house occupants a chance to own their home. Fairness grants an opportunity, not an outcome. If people didn't take advantage and sell out to landlords, that isn't on Thatchers government.
@@jamesrobert4106 The thing about Thatcher is that she was a bag of contradictions in some ways. She stated that you can't buck the market' but she sold off council houses way below their market value. Was this to give ' council occupants a chance to own their own home' or maybe it was very canny [and admittedly effective] electoral strategy ? She dumped free market economics if it suited her. She bashed EU heads many times but was one of the architects of the Single Market. She was elected in 1979 committed to eliminating inflation by controlling the money supply. She actually doubled inflation by raising VAT - wile cutting tax for high earners. Inflation eventually came down because her interest rate/high exchange rate policy sent unemployment rate to it's highest level since the 30s and our manufacturing base was decimated. She never did control the money supply which expanding massively under the unsustainable Lawson boom of the late 80s. She later denied having been a monetarist at all.
Didn't Rishi Sunak just announce that he made another £125 million this year because the economy is so good and everyone in Britain is swimming in cash?!?!

@@Humanity101-zp4sq He's a young lad, who clearly hasn't been schooled in the art of English, I blame the comprehensive system ole boy, which is anything but. Cheerio.
There is something fundamental important to this scenario along with COL , that is the price of caravan and camping sites has rocketed ,just 10 years ago a night on a site was a low as £3.00 a night , now many will charge as much as £50.00 a night ! With majority no less than £30.00 ,driving out many who would of camped on site even in winter places could be found ,this pushing out of the people unable to afford the outrageous prices in the UK is surely part of the problem a long with COL , there needs to be sensibly priced campsites ,its not rocket science just that old thing greed . The UK is lacking behind everywhere else I've seen in regard to spaces available ,taking into consideration the huge growth in alternative accommodation and the ridiculous prices to rent properties something should be done ,there are plenty of sites that could be used ,its a case of priorities ,and less snobbery and one upmanship ,something the UK needs to focus on ,it does not help shutting down areas here and there with signs saying no overnight parking ,that only diverts the issue to other areas .So council's need to act and open sites up with sensible costs ,or at least supply faculties for waste .
I lived next to that blue van with wooden door at 10.00 in easton by cemetery 6 or so years ago he travels around the country for music festivals and stuff and works along the way many of these guys choose this life and not all are forced into it. For the most part there all a very freidly bunch of people. And ive never felt so free in my entire life as i did back then no bills no worries no nothing i never went hungry. Biggest issue was not having your own toilet and having to wait for the public ones to become available sometimes. Or public ones being locked especially during covid it was bad.
Through no fault of their own in most cases, working people struggling Through the coldest winters damp and condensation, ill health , shame on Britain 🇬🇧
Both daughter studied in Bristol. Vibrant city with lots to do but their accommodation and house shares were rank IMHO. Its a shame the council don’t set up proper site for the residents.
So why can't they turn the council park into a proper caravan park with a public bathroom and laundry? It would get the vans off the street.Im sure the local home owners would support that rather than vans down the side of the road
A in the UK, a "Flume" is what you get at an amusement park, where you sit in a plastic log and go down a water slide. A flue is a duct, pipe, or opening in a chimney for conveying exhaust gases from a fireplace, furnace, water heater, boiler, or generator to the outdoors. Historically the term flue meant the chimney itself. So there was not a "flume" sticking out of that van! I had to clear that up!
I used to cycle down New Stadium Road three days a week from September 2022 till July 2023. There were a few caravans parked there all that time, but I was really shocked to see that by September the whole road was jam-packed with them. I never knew anyone who lived in a van till I came to live here. Now I know loads.
As a 14 year Motorhomer, if we were wild camping in Spain, we could always find a sewer manhole where you could dump your black waste. I don’t know how feasible that would be in Bristol but it is a thought. Motorhomes and caravans usually have a cassette toilet which is pull out. This could be carried to public toilets to be dumped, if you put it in a plastic bag nobody would no what you where carrying. Just don’t leave it to get too full as it would get quite heavy, just another thought. Grey waste can be poured down a drain. As for showers, are there any local council sport centre where you could have a shower? As for rubbish, put it in a small rubbish bag and put it in a waste bin, little and often every day and take it with you on a walk so you are not using the same bin all the time. Unfortunately in this country there a very few campsites these people could use that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Campsites are either all singing and dancing sites for holiday makers or club sites that price out the poorer people. I wish all these people the best of luck and thank Bristol for not constantly moving them on, which could have happened.
Campsites are mostly seasonal be great to have somewhere for van lifer s etc that has facilities at affordable prices like £20 per night would be affordable the problem with campsite s in the height of summer are very expensive as you have pointed out
On the continent there are parking places especially for motorhomes that provide water, a place to dump your grey and black waste and rubbish bins. You often just have to pay for the water although 10 Euros a night is usual in popular areas. Everyone then keeps the site clean. The problem here is the authorities think providing something like that will atract travellers.
I lived in Bristol for years, left there 2 years ago, and there was None of these caravans there then, The downs was always a nice place to walk around, This must have happened only in the last few years, I had no idea that things had got this bad.
I have a caravan of my own which I use to holiday round the country in. One question that comes into my mind is, where do they get their fresh water from? It’s amazing how quickly you can get through 25 Ltrs of water in a van. I feel for these people who have fallen on hard times. I know from experience that without help it’s a hard life.
Let’s level with people here and not beat about the bush. Bristol is a very ‘trendy’ and ‘artistic’, ‘hippie’ city. It has high house prices and many rich kids from London have moved there in recent years. This has pushed house prices up, and not enough new properties have been built to deal with the increasing population. BUT…. Many of these people are choosing to live like this as they want to be in Bristol. There are hundreds of towns up north in England where you can buy property to live in on a modest full time income. They are not willing to move out of the central areas to less expensive suburbs or even other towns, where they could afford to live in a house if they had a regular full time job. There are also clearly many socialist agitators, who are trying to make a point, that everyone should have free/government subsidised housing, so are intentionally parking their vehicles in the most expensive areas; it’s pretty transparent really that it is political and not simply an inability to find a home to live in. At the end of the day, Bristol is a highly middle class city, with high house prices and rent, there are plenty of places around the country people could live, but many people are CHOOSING to live like this. Having said all that, I have genuine sympathy for the native Bristolians who have been out priced by Wealthy Londoners and at the bottom end , migrants moving from overseas.
Poor buggers, shame on Bristol council. My 4xGreat grandpparents were from Bedminster and it makes me sad in this day and age that people have to live like this .❤️From Northumberland

There's also the caravan site in Fishponds, behind Filwood House. When I lived in an awful squat, with the filthiest wc ever, I used to go to the local gym every day before work. Not just to use the shower etc but workout as well. I was the fittest I've ever been :D
I'm from California and it's bad over here too . Most of the homeless people here are living in tents . If prices keep going up more and more people will be homeless.
As a retired cabin crew, one of my regular layovers was in San José. On one occasion, I spoke with a homeless man sitting on the pavement. Turns out he was an into tech but his firm was taken over and was let go, pointing out that so many people, here and over there, are just one pay check away from destitution.
Good grief!! What an eye-opener! But I'm wondering why I'm so surprised considering I was brought up in the UK and experienced homelessness as a youngster. Housing, and affordable at that, has always been a low priority in the UK. I remember having to wait several months for a flat to become vacant after I left home. It's a combination of high rents, not enough housing, no community support, social division, and that little or no priority in this is given while the majority is concentrated on economic freeloaders coming across the Channel - most of whom are. It would be nice if homeless Brits could also be put up in expensive luxury hotels at the taxpayer's expense! Since I left I don't think i've seen anything as bad. Great video. I look forward to more.
Does the City of Bristol town politicians have future plans for the people of Caravan City. This surely is not sustainable. Great Video Joe. Hope you are doing well 😁 All the best . Jim and Harriet

Watching from Australia, I think the rules for these caravaners ciuld be that they are left alone as long as there is no rubbish outside and its kept clean etc. The council could provide showers and sanitary in portable units. Poor people but they have a roof over their heads. Best of luck to them.
Hi Joe, I am from the US. How did all these caravans arrive in one spot. I do not see any vehicles in the video that towed them to the spot they are in.

How do these people get their mail? Also why is there no homeless or temporary housing there? Or is it at capacity? I feel so bad for the people having to live like that in the 21st century 😢
Always is,is black people in the USA seen on streets, they're now joined by white people, but they're mainly hidden in cars, they even freeze to death in them, hence why homeless go to warmer climates like LA....many are working. 1.3 k homeless die in the UK destitute on the streets,in USA it's 40 k death's from destitution annually, it's the replacement era in full affect, ordinary people expendable
exactly the same thing happened in S africa 20 years ago, 40,000 people fell off the bottom of the economic ladder for the same reasons we are doing now in the uk, and ended up living in slab cities, AND THEY WERE STILL CHARGED GROUND RENT.
@@JoefishJ I have been to Bristol once for work. Saw the suspension bridge and the castle that over looks it. Also the churches that were bombed out in ww2. High street seemed nice.
Good video pal. Quick one for improvement is when you're interviewing people (like the nice couple in the residential area) you could have let them talk a bit more. It's hard not to jump in with your own thoughts and try to direct the conversation, but I think they might have had more to say if you let them talk for longer
This is just the beginning as housing will become more and more unaffordable for people. Caravan and tent cities will begin proliferating throughout other towns and cities, just like in the Land of the Free, across the pond.

That's a symptom but the problem started when the government started acting in favour of foreign interests instead of home interests

Also, it was a Labour government who invaded Iraq, and if you think Blair's little protege and their party of WEF stooges is going to improve anything I'd say you have another think coming.

As a boater, the waste is disposed of in an elsan disposal point. There's probably a couple around Bristol Harbour but some require a key entry

There isn't a housing shortage for the British, it's a overpopulation problem is migration

I had to clear that up!
if you just come over on a boat from france you get free hotel food and money forever
😂😂😂 that's an utterly manufactured "crisis". The real culprits are selling the UK by the pound and laughing that their ruse works on mugs like you.
Well done for doing the Tories job for them tho.. 😂😂

Wow what a difference 10 years has made since I lived there 😢. Country is beyond repair
I lived in Bristol for years, left there 2 years ago, and there was None of these caravans there then, The downs was always a nice place to walk around,
This must have happened only in the last few years, I had no idea that things had got this bad.
Nice to see some people still have good manors.
Composting toilets at sites like this would make the world of difference, don't even need to factor in water supply just need sawdust.
Would definitely help those in need there. Thanks for watching and the comment 👍🙏
Those mini wheelie bins are so cute!
Cost off living is to much crazy these days
Definitely not helping things!! Thanks for watching
Socialism isn't about free handouts. I know that. I have lived in such a country.
Lot of words to tell us you dont know what you are on about.
And this doesn’t include all the poor people living in tents in Bristol

Thanks guys for the support, I don't think there are any future plans for the people. Thanks for watching and the comment 👍 please share the video with any like minded people to help spread the video far and wide! 🙏
Watching from Australia, I think the rules for these caravaners ciuld be that they are left alone as long as there is no rubbish outside and its kept clean etc. The council could provide showers and sanitary in portable units. Poor people but they have a roof over their heads. Best of luck to them.
Agreed on all points there 👍🙏
Well JoeFish keep up the Gerno. Work really got my emotional. We need to stay united 🙏
Thanks buddy 🙏 you're right we need to support each other. Thanks for watching and the comment
Hi Joe, I am from the US. How did all these caravans arrive in one spot. I do not see any vehicles in the video that towed them to the spot they are in.
Hi bud, firstly thanks for watching. Honestly I have no idea, and frankly the majority aren't in a fit state to be towed. Don't think they've moved in a long time. Hope you enjoy the rest of the content 👍
Yes bloody mystery it is all very strange
Ask the same of Slab City 🤷♀️ It kinda organically develops over years..
No doubt they paid someone to drop it off there or people donated them
How do these people get their mail? Also why is there no homeless or temporary housing there? Or is it at capacity? I feel so bad for the people having to live like that in the 21st century 😢

Bristol is such a good city for cafes , lovely scenery and low crime figures. It used to be tents there.
All white British people.
Funny that...
Always is,is black people in the USA seen on streets, they're now joined by white people, but they're mainly hidden in cars, they even freeze to death in them, hence why homeless go to warmer climates like LA....many are working.
1.3 k homeless die in the UK destitute on the streets,in USA it's 40 k death's from destitution annually, it's the replacement era in full affect, ordinary people expendable
exactly the same thing happened in S africa 20 years ago, 40,000 people fell off the bottom of the economic ladder for the same reasons we are doing now in the uk, and ended up living in slab cities, AND THEY WERE STILL CHARGED GROUND RENT.
caravans as far as the ikea can see
That's a good one 👍 thanks for watching
Rental costs in Bristol are insanely high! Thanks for watching 👍🙏
