Using geppo directly from an arm to redirect a blow or tekkai to lock an arm in place would be strong as well.

Doesn't have to be salt water, any kind of water works, but something like cream doesn't nulify df powers since its not water even tho its a liquidy?. So luffy can swim, but not in water, swimming in uhh whip cream? Or chocolate, you will need to take a shower after that or an army of ants are gonna attack you

It'd be nice to see her kicking more ass. It seems like she kind of fell behind after a while. You could even circumvent the years of training excuse by saying she used multiple limbs during training so rather than attempting the move one at a time she was practicing it multiple times at the same moment.

I think it's funny to mention that "Finger Pistol" became a fad among Japanese children during the CP9 battles. lots of kids would get into trouble for poking each other too hard.

That is one well trained balloon, probably had strong observation haki to, as it saw Tekkings coming.
Rather than separating the Rokushiki into two categories "Combat" and "Supplemental", since for one thing all of them are for combat, I like to separate them into three: Attack, Defense, Movement. "Shigan" and "Rankyaku" are attack, "Tekkai" and "Kami-e" are defense, "Geppou" and "Soru" are movement. All six come together to be used for attacks and defense, but this separation is based on their base techniques.

@@king_shay1936 Nah, Kami-e is really more about evasion, wich you could definitely classify as more of a defensive than a movement ability. Of course it uses movement of the body, but movement in this case is more a way of getting around faster and easier

Vince Kihaa I think Sanji is strong enough to perform Rankyaku but rankyaku's wave kind of resembles the zoro's "pound ho" so maybe sanji doesnt want to be called a copy cat by zoro, but that is just my opinion from wild imagination 😂

Melody In Enies Lobby he spinned around fast enough that the friction caused by the spinning would cause fire. But by the timeskip it had been developed so that he would spin very little, if at all, and thanks to his time on no women island as I call it his rage causes his entire body to be set a light. Reason for not burning is that his soul burns hotter then fire.
Isaac Matthews Its kinda making sense now. Oda said that Sanji’s flames are his passion. When Sanji was fighting Luffy, he could instantly light his leg on fire, except for the final attack he landed on luffy. On that final attack, Sanji spins. If u ask me why, I think it was because Sanji loves his captain and wasn’t passionate about fighting him, therefore he wasn’t passionate in his final attack, and didn’t activate his flames on will because it’s like he almost knew this attack would knock his captain out(Hmm observation haki...). The flames may have been hot, but this time, Sanji passion was much colder.

That would probably be the best one in normal life, since it's probably the one that could be used for saving your life, utility, and otherwise. But how long can you fly with Geppou?
Edit: Also, I remembered that I was wondering about the physics of doing this. I figured that since you needed to kick off of the air, you have to be able to harden the air... which sounds weird, but it's not that hard. You just have to move way faster than the speed of sound. So, you'd have to kick several times the speed of sound to even get air to the consistency of water I think. Someone check my science.
Rankyaku, I imagine would be the same way. Tekkai is a hard concept to think about, but I think it's actually possible for a real life person, provided years of training in self-hardening. Shigan is actually as easy as Tekking said it was. I did some calculations and a professional boxer, if he decided to stick his finger straight out and it didn't snap or anything, would generate some 2 or 3 megapascals, that is some 3 million kilograms of piercing power. Kami-e is weird, as usual, Soru would require kicking in gradually(really over the course of less than a second)increasing amounts repeatedly to increase the amount of reaction force you launch yourself with without launching yourself too far too fast.
Rokuougan is based off of the one-inch punch, so its possible, but won't generate the same results. Still, if you do it with both fists facing outward, then turn them inward as you extend the inch or so of space, you get more force.
I would love to use both Geppo and Soru just to move around the air really super fast!

Attack (Shigan and Rankyaku)
Defense (Kami-e and Tekkai)
Movement (Soru and Geppou)

Yup. Kind of like Haki I would think some of the strawhats would GREATLY benefit from the 6 powers. Hell I would say let Robin master them since she kinds of need a power boost and she did spend a lot of time with CP9. Also I would think it would be a major thing because Oda had been alluding to a rematch between the strawhats and CP like Lucci. So having some strawhats learn some during this would be a cool thing IMO.
I always thought it was weird that Robin was the only CP9 member who didn't use any of the powers. I thought after she joined she was going to reveal that she knew them and train some of the Strawhats, but that never happened. It is weird how she's the only one who doesn't know any of the powers.

Azrael Ramos, Robin was with CP9 some time prior to her joining Crocodile in Alabasta. She used to work as an assassin for the world government. I don't believe it's been stated how long she worked as an assassin for the GW or how long she was with CP9, but she seemed to know them quite well, so we can assume it was quite a bit of time.

Here's everyone's custom versions of certain Rokushiki techniques I made up
Luffy: Gomu Gomu no Lance (Gomu Gomu no pistol combined with Shigan)
Zoro: Soru Oni Giri (self explanatory really, uses Soru to enhance the power and speed of Oni Giri)
Usopp: Usopp super dodge (Usopp combines his observation haki with paper art (forgot the Japanese name) and dodges anything you attack him with)
Sanji: Diable Rankyaku (combines Diable Jambe with Rankyaku to shoot burning Rankyaku blasts)
Nami: Vanish Tenpo (combines Mirage Tenpo with Soru to escape any situation, probably with her opponents wallet)
Chopper: Flying Point (uses Geppo while in jump point to leap miles into the air)
Robin: Épine de Rose (uses Shigan from arms sprouting all over her body, forming a deadly barrier and simulating a rose's thorns)
Franky: Franky SUUUPER Hammer (combines Tekkai with Strong Hammer to make a super punch)
Brook: Swallow Bond Avant, Geppo Variant (uses Geppo to ascend instead of climbing a structure and then drops on the enemy to deliver a stab to the head)

Also just because I want to, I want to make a sort of list of the strawhats and see what kind of techniques that they could use and implement into their style. If anyone has a better idea please I insist have a go.
Luffy- He already kind of learned some of these. Learned Soru and some form of geppo just from watching. So really he is already way ahead of the other members. But I kind of don't see him wanting to learn any other techniques. The only others I could think is Kami-e and that would help him in the latest chapter and would help be on level playing grounds with that Mochi son of a bitch, and possibly Tekkai just to be able to tank more hits which like Tekking said add Armament and you get a powerful defense. I don't see Luffy using Shigan, he is not a killer and he already has weapon based attacks so adding those is a bit redundant, and I don't see Rankyaku because he doesn't kick as often nor would do long range attacks. He stays physical. Though I like the idea of using Rankyaku with Battle Axe. Imagine the damage on that shit.
Zoro- Rankyaku for sure. I can imagine him using that as a way to use long range sword attacks. Hell maybe Mihawk uses that to some degree, which would put him on equal grounds on "The most powerful sword attack" that he uses. Other then that, Soru being a possibility, like using quick draws and doing so would get long distances. And again Tekkai just for that defense. And other then that, not really anything else he could use.
Sanji- Geppo he is already well ahead and could master it soon here. I would say doing so could help in air fights and just get more distance to then stomp on enemies. Also Soru just to zoom around the place. And also Rankyaku for sure. But unlike Tekking's interpretation of a big boobed slice, I think adding the fire and him making a long range fire slice. I can see that going Diablo Janbe and just BAM cooked and diced at the same time. Same goes for all the rest I can't see him using.
Nami- Honesty I can't see much of any of the techniques besides low level ones. The main one is geppo like Sangi. She has the weather staff so being in the sky gets her a nice view on the island and could have more range with her attacks. Plus she wants to map out islands so doing this will give her a better view. Other then that, the only one I can see her using is Shigan with her staff. Just so her staff work is more on point then anything.
Ussop- Now this might sound crazy, but I want Ussop to have Shigan. Now stay with me, but I think he could possibly implement that into his slingshot. Why? So that his sling shot would have as much force and speed, if not more then a gun. This makes his sniping skills more on point. Like Observation and Shigan and he could take down foes from long distances just like that. And honestly that's all he would need.
Chopper- He is a little bit of an odd one. Cause he could integrate a lot of these techniques into his points. Shigan and Rankyaku for his Kung fu point because that is where the most strength comes from, Tekkai on his shield point or even on horn point for tougher horns, all 3 of them in muscle point, Soru in his walk point, Geppo in a lot of them, and possibly Kami-e on his normal brain point, and don't get me started on the damage if he could use all 6 or even Rokuogon in monster point!
Robin- Like in an earlier comment, I think Robin could in fact use all of the techniques here to a degree. And also Rokuogan. But before that the others. Soru and Geppo just so she can have better movement options. Or hell make those hand wings more effective at flying because of those 2 techniques. I imagine just so she won't take hits or even have her limbs be less likely to be manhandle when she uses her powers would be great with Kami-e, Rankyaku because of so many legs could make battle canons out of them on a fleet or hell using her giant legs could cause damage (Get back into that later). Shigan because of many arms would make a good Gatling, and Tekkai for making her limbs stronger. Like making shields out of them. Now I brought up Rokuogon for one reason. Robin's ability can not only make many limbs of hers, but can make giant limbs. Think about it. Giant Rokuogon on a battleship!
Franky- Just like how he should get Armament Haki, he should also try to get Tekkai. Just so he is most armored strawhat on the crew as a cyborg. Not only that but using that in his punches? Level the playing fields literally. As for others I think light Soru just to increase his punches and Shigan because LOOK AT THOSE FINGERS. Those are like giant canon balls ready to happen. Also putting all 3 of them together and you have a one finger death punch ready to happen.
Brook- Could use Geppo, he is already light and this would make him even lighter. Add in Rankyaku and he can send wind blades from his sword from above. And he could use Soru, his attacks are usually those dramatic wait, sheath sword, and fall attacks, so adding in Soru could make those faster and could go through even more distance. And possibly Kami-e just for the comedic dodges and being able to stay afloat. And could FINALLY be able to doge those Nami slaps. Also just kind of thought of it, he has Solid Soul, add that into a Rankyaku slice and you get a cold slice, the opposite of Sanji's fire slice. Maybe add those together and you get a hurricane slash or a twister slash, just an idea for combos.
And I won't be saying anything on Carrot or Jinbei because needing to see some more of their moves would be nice. But if anyone wants to add onto it you are more then fine to do so.

.-. You know the pound cannons are basically Rankyaku right? Zoro and Brook both have a high speed sword attack. Zoro's attack is Lion's Song and Brook's attack is humming slash.
I don't think Franky can use tekkai where he doesn't have flesh so the making bis fist harder is out the window but it would be a good way to up the defense on his backside since it remains unmodified. Franky just needs armament Haki to become a real beastly tank.
Well Azrael, I could probably explain the first 2. The pound canons I kind of thought was a type of energy (For some reason), but let's move past that and say that yes this is indeed a variant. I would say using a full version of these techniques would add or either enhance their abilities. So with Zoro with the pound canons, I could see him learning to make the blades even faster to the point of Mihawk's giant slash during Marineford. As for Soru, again it would enhance these abilities. Not just by making them faster but could also add a much longer distance to them.
As for Franky... I can't really explain how he could because as you said, kind of need muscles and flesh to do so. But it does also require tensing up, which is kind of hard to say if a cyborg like Franky could be able to even get tension or be on high alert like your body would when you see say a punch coming at you. Maybe he could or maybe he couldn't...

Iron body is physically making your body durable, and Armament Haki is using your spirit to make your body more durable.
