I did this on my first ride in a sailplane, 1972. Turf Soaring School, Phoenix. The pilot nailed it and filled the cabin with TP. I was hooked on flying from then on. Thanks for bringing back some good memories.
Christopher Owens ; I met John yesterday for the first time. It was on a whim; I just headed to Wausau from Green Bay, and he was working on his day off. The time flew by, no pun intended. He gave me his business card, and suggested the next time I stopped by, we’d go flying. Way too awesome! 😎👍

I did that one time out of my Cherokee at 9000Ft. Caught it and cut it once, and never saw it again. Hard to spot
