    Today I honed the cylinders to de-glaze the walls in preparation of new piston rings. As always, the links to everything in the video are below. My hone was 4 1/8" but depending on your bore size, you may need to go bigger or smaller. Thanks for watching!

AND IN MY ATTEMPT TO GET PARTS FOR MY 4.0 REBUILD I DISCOVERED THAT THERE IS A NATION WIDE BACK ORDER FOR PART NO F77Z-6212AA (CONNECTING ROD NUTS) .AND "THIS IS OFFICIAL! STRAIGHT FROM A FORD DEALER WHO STATES THAT ACCORDING TO FORD THERE IS NO ETA WHEN THE PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. Q: SAYS WHO? A: SAYS FORD! THATS WHO!       @@iamdjnam finally got er running this morning after like 3 months lol. Got the engine in and it would idle fine but had no power, the faster I tried to go the less power. I eventually figured out I had a clogged up cat.

      @@BombsAwayMineCraft Nice!! Great job on getting it running and very nice troubleshooting. Remember to recycle the old cat, you can actually get paid a few hundred for the core.

    GREAT VIDEOS I LEARNED DO MUCH FROM YOU. QUESTION. I KNOW I AM OFF SUBJECT BUT WHEN REPLACING THE CONNECTING ROD BOLTS. AND AT 12 TO 16 DOLLARS A PEICE DO YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE CONNECTING ROD NUTS I BOUGHT NEW BOLTS BUT DIDNT HABE ENOUGH TO BUY THE NUTS YET. THANK YOU

    Is that a distributor hole plug in what would have been the lifter valley?

      Yes. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just plug it, there’s actually o-rings with a gear on it.
