    Surprised you don't have a lathe. You should get one of those small ones.

    I've done this before with a cordless drill, it's a bit easier because you can just set the drill upright on the battery instead of trying to hold up the drill and brace the bearing on something.

    You could also use a light abrasive and convex the brushes... Which is my preferred method.

    You should have mentioned how much harder it was because of the fan....... a few more times. Just incase someone was listening. 😅😂
