Loved these tips! Though, if I may ask, as someone who definitely has a long way to go before being lean enough to see muscle definition, I would love to get some practical advice on sustainable nutrition. I’ve always wondered how hard it is for people as lean as you to stay that way, and even more how to get there in the first place.
I am 68. When I was in my early 20’s, I started lane swimming. I was painfully thin, before and after pregnancies. No women went to the gym. I love your videos. I use to be so very fit. Then I have had several bad falls & I too busy. Last yr. I fell & broke five bones in my foot at the top of the Pandemic. Not enough Calcium & it kept me from having corrective surgery as the soft bones would not hold the screws. So after 1-1/2 yrs. in bed, & now 75 yrs. old, I have to start over. My Balance is shot, arms are flabby & I cannot get up when I fall. Very frustrating to try & rebuild muscles is SO HARD. Thanks for your arm workouts. ALOHA-Linda
Good morning, Cori! 🌞🌻🌼🌺🌸☕️😎 I'm sending you positive vibes as a token of gratitude for helping me heal my tennis elbow! I tried everything you recommended in your elbow pain video. I will be 60 years old this August. I’m lean with some nice muscle definition. I am having trouble with reducing my batwings that now have old lady crepey skin. I exercise routine is 3 days on 1 day rest, 2 days on, 1 day rest. I journal all my exercise, with pre-planned workouts. I have been able to build a better shapely butt and have toned my abs, build nice square shoulders but still can’t seem to improve under my arms. Any suggestions for crepe skin? Than you for your input.
This is great information. Will definitely implement when lock down is over and I'm back in the gym. I don't have weights at home so I'm trying to find those exercises that I can do at home. New subscriber. Stay safe everyone

Hello from Salinas, Thank you Cori for being my in home trainer during shelter in place. You are very informative and break complexities down. You have made me rethink how I workout and what style of gym I want to belong to.
I really enjoy your channel and hope you get many more subscribers. Your educational platform is the perfect complement to a workout routine. You’re very succinct and informed and I like that you reference studies. You explain the how and why of working out and I like that. It’s good to know why I’m doing certain movements or combinations and not just following along blindly.
Please clarify one point.. does the cardio need to be upper body driven (using this video as a point of reference) or does any kind of cardio eat up the loosened up fatty acids? Thank you! Your videos are so awesome and are very appreciated!!
Aww I love that Kiwi is in every video at the end.😍 My little dog, Lily, does the same to me if I'm in the floor🤣 *Question for you... I'm 60 and very out of shape but being in lockdown and finding your channel has motivated me to get myself fit. I'm overweight by about 4 stone and food at the moment is limited. Too many carbs😕 what's your advice to 1. Get me started with exercise and 2. What foods to eat. I'm familiar with a keto diet and intermittent fasting, but wondering if this is a help or a hindrance. Thanks Julie x
Hi Julie! 1. I would start with very simple foundational work. Glute activation, simply getting up and doing some of the stretches to move more around the house. Even setting a timer for just 5 minutes to do some bodyweight squats to a chair, push ups off the wall and march in place. And 2. For food with there being difficulty finding some stuff, focus on just logging what you're eating. I find that by simply logging, we become more conscious of our consumption and we can then make small tweaks based on what we are currently doing. Because the best way to make changes is to create a healthier version of what is actually SUSTAINABLE :-)
I want to encourage you. I got serious about my health when I was 68. I lost 40 pounds over eighteen months. I train for about an hour 3 or 4 times a week. I also play tennis. I am a lot stronger. My blood work is much better. My resting pulse is 56. I am now 73. I use a personal trainer but using a favorite coach on the internet could work very well. There is so much good information online. It is never too late to adopt healthy habits.
Summary: 1- Compound PLUS isolation lifts/movements. 2- Variety and variations of movements, positions, loads, tools, grips, etc. Target the muscles in different ways. 3- Steady state cardio after workouts.
Cor, thanks for all you do. The last year has been about rebuilding me and I have made use of all your vids. Oh yeah, I've been out for a few years but I fit back into my dress blues and those were tailored to fit right out of boot camp.
