Dennis seems like the friend who is 5 years older to you and gives you advice alongwith joining in to fool around as well. Wonderful personally.

He does come across like that doesn't he? He seems a really patient teacher, I wish he taught me when I used to play more.

This tutorial is amazing because I can understand easily every word Dennis is speaking. I'm a french speaking lad and, some times, trying to understand the lingo of some commentators is so difficult that I lose a lot of what they're saying. To me, Dennis Taylor and John Virgo are the easyest to understand! I won't make a list here of the hardests to understand, they are too many!

This is amazing. I had this on VHS when I was 8 years old and is basically how I learned to play pool and snooker, along with some good local players. Stodd me in really good stead!

Love the old snooker masters. Just great personalities.

So do I. I enjoy watching the players today but they seem so focused on their game (not a bad thing) that you never really see their personality on screen.

Absolutely great video. Dennis is definitely 1 of the greats. He's not quite a steve Davis, but good in his own right.

I love that his glasses allow him to look up through them while his head is down taking the shot. They are so tall!

old comment but they were actually custom made bc his normal glasses got in the way so he got someone to make a custom frame that didnt block his view
