Taking the shot for granted! Especially after a very difficult shot that demands 100% of our full attention and concentration and respect, but that costs high energy, and maintaining that is hard work. Because the next shot is relatively easier, so consciously or subconsciously and self misleadingly we think that we cannot miss, and to conserve energy we do not give the shot 100% of our full attention and concentration and the respect it deserves and we miss. Remember that there are no easy shots, therefor we should give 100% of our full attention and concentration and respect for every shot!

All my friends have progressed and i cant compete with anybody at all. Im thinking of trying from scratch with my left hand?
Look up dr Dave videos to really learn, for instance that first side pocket shot creates cit, cut induced throw. You aim perfectly but do to the soft speed and extra friction in the ball, the object ball gets thrown off course slightly. In snooker there is no leeway when potting.
justin Thomas im happy with my positional play but my potting is letting me down. If i can start to pot im sure I’ll progress quickly. I just leave my opponents in too often.
Can you please tell me exactly what you were looking at taking that shot on the blue that shows the line of aim, I was asking this at my club but it was just getting confused replies. I understood that you look at the point on the object ball that you afe aiming at hitting but that precise point isn't on the object ball when the shot is on such an angle. If I was to look at the point on the object ball where I want it to make contact then my line of sight to the line of aim is out by the radius of the white when it makes contact with the object ball. I always feel like I have to over explain what I mean and what I'm getting at, I hooe you understand. Cheers
Thanks coach but we want more tutorials how to make a curve sho tbesides where to hit on the blue to split the pack . moreover, if you finish in the wrong side of the blue, how to play the blue around the houses and come back to the reds in the pink spot area thanks.
The only thing I know when I'm playing bilyard is if I'm to focus I can't shot the ball but if I'm having fun yep I'm missing sometimes but not like how I play on focus because If you focus on ball you will disappoint if it's not going to pocket but if your playing for fun you never think what your doing that's why your not overthinking on ball and your not going to stressed
All it takes for me is 1 or 2 easy missed shots and I get in my own head I start over thinking every shot and it makes me play far worse which makes me get more annoyed and play even worse, confidence is such a huge part of snooker and consistently being able to pot simple shots is a big part of that
I have an unusual problem with my right shoulder (I'm right handed). Due to carrying heavy bags over the years, my right shoulder is permanently drooped about 2 inches lower than my left. So much so that when I relax my right arm/hand, my forearm is actually BEHIND my right thigh instead to the side. I can't use the conventional, "Right leg on the line of shot" because then it'll cause my arm to point left when I bend over. I find having the line of shot between my right and left legs helps quite a bit. Any ideas Sir?
Few of the players actually do a disco dance immediately after hitting the ball. My cue shakes like a leaf on a tree while feathering and my body shakes like the ground beneath my feet is experiencing an earthquake, while hitting the shot .
to answer your video's question title realistically: because we are HUMAN, and because although we DO know what we are supposed to do, and what we mean to do, many of us simply cannot do the same exact thing over and over perfectly: something happens, whether it is striking the cue ball in a way you didn't want to, or, simply missing the spot on the target ball that you truly meant to hit. That is the reason why there are untold millions of so so pool players, and only so many truly great players. Be thankful that your inherent hand eye coordination works repeatedly, as it does for you.
how would anyone who can actually play the game of snooker give any of this tutorial a thumbs down..it's either jealousy or they really can't play themselves

I cannot get any consistency. Ive never come across anybody that struggles as much as I do.
Cheers
Relatable topic 🙌
Thanks coach but we want more tutorials how to make a curve sho tbesides where to hit on the blue to split the pack
. moreover, if you finish in the wrong side of the blue, how to play the blue around the houses and come back to the reds in the pink spot area thanks.
The only thing I know when I'm playing bilyard is if I'm to focus I can't shot the ball but if I'm having fun yep I'm missing sometimes but not like how I play on focus because
If you focus on ball you will disappoint if it's not going to pocket but if your playing for fun you never think what your doing that's why your not overthinking on ball and your not going to stressed
