what an amazing channel! i am so glad i have found you! just watched all your videos at once! i have never watched someone who i like anything he says about clothes. I've decided to start dressing up as much as I can and wanted to buy myself a nice belt, i usually wear for uni a cotton t shirt + a barbour jacket and black jeans with black sneakers/boots. i wanted to order myself a nice black leather- silver buckle belt for my black jeans. i am looking for a good quality belt and i dont want it to be logo branded (such as H hermes or LV and so on) so i want to keep it clean yet to have a very high quality, can i have some brand recommandation from you please man? i would more than want to follow your advice on this case. thanks in advanced!
Thank you so much, man :) I really appreciate that. You're probably one of the best dressed people at your uni I reckon. I personally have a belt from Charles Tyrwhitt that I'm pretty happy with. Spier & Mackay is also a good budget-friendly option, but all of their belts at the moment have golden buckles, which is a bit more tricky for me to combine. Both brands are around $50 I think. Slightly more pricey (around $100), but great quality belts, would also be Natalino, Shoepassion (EU only I think) and Herring Shoes.
@@shegerpeger884 Thanks for your reply and thanks for sharing my channel :) Much appreciated, my friend. That's awesome. I didn't dress classy at uni, so you're on the right path pretty early on :) Great job. Which country do you live in? Then I can give you a better recommendation for brands. One brand that I can highly recommend is Spier & Mackay. They have some very decent prices for e.g. chinos plus they regularly have 20% off and their chinos have some nice features like side adjusters and pleats. When you buy the pants, you can choose between slim and contemporary fit, and you can cross-check your body measurements with their size measurements to see which one is right for you.
For matching your metals there is also another trick for beginners - by a watch that combines silver and gold)) That way no matter the color of other metals - they could be worn with that watch.
@@ralph9899 I bought that one from Charles Tywrhitt. I like that it's a reversible belt and the quality is pretty good for the price. Meermin is also a fantastic brand for affordable belts, even though they are mainly a shoe manufacturer.

When you are wearing a suit you shouldn’t be wearing a belt. With a suite you should either have side adjusters or wear suspenders. A belt destroys the line of a suite. This is especially true with a three piece suite.
Thanks for watching, Patrick. I get the appeal of the Kore belt, because it's super convenient, but for me personally, I prefer a more classy looking belt.
@@Lukas_SchanderlThat's a fair point. But as someone who's worn both, ratchet belts and traditional belts, that "classy" looking belt will soon look tattered, sloppy, and unprofessional once the hole gets stretched out and the buckle/prong start creating creasing/peeling in the leather. I recently tried Kore Essentials and not only is it convenient, but due to the ratchet system, this thing will continue to look great over time.
@@user-yz5mn2go2d I agree. That's probably the major downside with any traditional belt. It's a bit annoying to replace them that often. Would be awesome if there was some kind of blend between the 2.

So, when i wearing suede shoe, what suit best for the belt?
You can wear a regular leather belt in a similar color or if you have it, a suede or braided belt.
