After 25 years of cleaning the same bathroom after 3 disgusting boys you'll find yourself spending at least 15 min complaining that you have to cleaning it and then still prolly put it off till tomorrow lol😄😄😄😄
I live alone and every day the bathroom and kitchen get a speed clean. Once a month they get the deep clean. Keeping up is easier than catching up, and it takes no time at all.
I run a bed and breakfast. I lock the front door, strip and start at one end of the bnb wing moving through three bathrooms quickly one after another without stopping. In all three rooms, I gather all the trash into one bag, and the towels and rugs into one laundry hamper and throw them directly into the washer. I spray down the shower and tiles with a foaming cleaner with bleach, scrub the tub with a brush, spray to rinse. I spray down the pedestal sink, scrub and rinse. I pore bleach in the toilet and use the toilet brush to clean the bowl and the seat top and bottom and disinfect the flushing handle. I finish by using a “cleaning towel” to polish and dry everything starting with the sink, then tub and tiles, then surface of the toilet seat and, after spraying the floor with a no rinse floor cleaner, I use the cleaning towel one more time to wipe down the floor. There is no cross contamination because the cleaning towel only touches cleaned surfaces. I discard to laundry. One for each room. Repeat for two more bathrooms. I move the towels to the dryer and wash all three shower curtains together with a little bleach in the washer and later hang them back up to dry. I clean the towel bars and fixtures with vinegar to remove any deposits or corrosion. I clean the mirror along with all other glass surfaces in the bedroom with one microfiber cloth. Then I use the microfiber cloth to clean the window sills and window tracks... repeat two more times. I clean all door handles, light switches, keys, etc. with Clorox wipes. I wear gloves but wash my gloved hands periodically using soap. Anyway my most useful tip is to clean naked because you can really move, you sweat less and don’t bleach your clothes. Just have clothes nearby to answer your door...
I burst out laughing at the clean naked. But yes I often scrub the shower as I'm showering so naked cleaning for the win!
You should really keep peroxide in a dark container. It becomes ineffective in clear containers. The sprayer part will fit right in a brown bottle of peroxide. Doesn’t look as pretty but it ensures that it maintains its disinfecting properties.

You clean the toilet so gently. I clean the s*** out of my bathrooms. Lol. I vacuum first so I can get the hair off the floor, pretreat the tub and toilet, clean the mirrors and sink, go back and scrub the pretreated tub and then toilet. And I finish off with mopping the floors.

I pretreat the toilet while I clean the sink. I am not in a hurry cleaning my bathroom.. I usually clean my mirror last.

Hydrogen peroxide decomposes into water when it’s exposed to light, which is why they sell it in the brown bottles. You can find squirt tips that screw onto the brown bottles.

Toby approved rugs 🤣his appearances are my new favorite part of your videos. Thanks for the tips. We are on a well too... They have rust tablets you can buy (I get mine at the grocery store) that you put in the back of your toilet monthly to help with yellowing 😄
Great video! I like that you keep supplies in every bathroom. A little tip though peroxide should be stored in a dark container, light and heat break the solution down to water and oxygen.
You have a great method. I use something similar. I stopped using hard chemical because of my skin problems.I wear gloves only because I suffer from a severe case of eczema on my hands and if I wet them too much, they cracked and swell.

Great video...new subbie...btw just a little tip ...spray your product on your surface and let it sit a few mins ....this allows time for product to do it's work. I learned this from Melissa maker and Angela Brown both are pro cleaners. All you have to do is wipe quick 😁

In your shower you don’t use often, do you run it still? You should run it for a few minutes at least once a week to prevent legionella xx

I am enjoying your videos on cleaning and budgeting. FYI, you might want to change your peroxide bottle to a dark color amber or blue because it loses its effectiveness when exposed to light.
I always do first cleaning stuff in the toilet and then first clean the counters. I saw you used the yellow cloth in the toilet and after that you went over the toilet again and on the outside of the toilet . All the bacteria are on the toilet again.
You need to run the shower and flush the toilet in unused bathrooms every so often so ur drains do not dry out and u get septic smells back up into the house.

Ok very nice! The peroxide must be kept in a dark colored bottle to keep the peroxide from degrading.
Are those E-cloth glass cleaning cloths? If so I would just say you don't need glass cleaner with those. I just started using them, and they work AMAZING with JUST water. If I use the cleaning cloth wet then come behind it with the polishing cloth, it make my mirrors perfect with no streaks -even when there was tooth paste on the mirror.

I like the idea of seperate bucket for each room.
I like the hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle idea for disinfecting brushes, etc. However, you want an opaque, not clear bottle for peroxide as light reduces its effectiveness

I've never had a problem using my dyson on laminate flooring.

This is super random, but I know you’re into nails and what not.... and I came across a company that actually looks super legit. (because me too am into diy nails lol) The company is called Koko and Claire. They have a website and tons of videos on RUclips. But basically it’s a gel nail polish but the base is a warm water soak off base, but somehow you can still do dishes and it not come off. There’s a whole science to it lol. Super cool, super unique so I figured I’d pass it along!

h2o2 is peroxide. Sunlight turns it into h2o. I remember my chem teacher telling our class this and why peroxide is sold in dark bottles.

You appear mix up the cloths
- The bathroom is one area I am not a fan of cleaning. This process makesit simpler.
But rinse unused bathroom showers so dust does not build up or spiders don't move in.
