The final version is so much better. If that was the released version i think it would've flopped. And her career may have never took off (which i don't even want to imagine)

this whole being a demo is a load of crock. firstly the vocals on this are post who's that girl. Madonna didn't have pitch problems in 1983 when her first CD was recorded. secondly holiday was brought to Madonna after she signed her record deal. why would you need a demo after you are signed. thirdly as a somg written by someone else and shopped to Madonna the song would have another singer on the demo to showcase to a recording artists. the original demo was actually first played for the pointer sisters who turned it down. Madonna heard the demo and like it before going into the studio to record it without a demo.
